Vin enjoyed this book...what little boy wouldn't. I did my own editing to make the driver a male. His Papa operates heavy equipment and in his mind only papa's drive them and since I have no desire to entrench him in political correctness at the age of three the driver became a papa.

Features a woman construction worker, which I like very much since almost all of the other books feature men. It's good for my son to see that not all construction workers are male.

Great overview of backhoe operation. I particularly appreciate the emphasis on digging safely, and mapping out potential underground hazards.
