The second offering in the Kingman brothers series, I was looking forward to learning more about Aiden. Brother 1 was a bit of a jerk, so brother 2 must be the sweeter one and I was happy to find that to be true. But Aiden is nursing a broken heart and is still in love with Delanie .

I was a bit torn in rating this book because of Delanie. While I liked the character well enough as a person, she was not the one doing any of the fighting for the relationship.
This is a real treat for anyone who enjoys second chance romance where the hero made a serious mistake that initially drove the couple apart so now has to work hard to have any opportunity to rekindle the embers of his first love and regain her trust.

Seven years ago, Aiden Kingman chose to follow his father rather than stay with Delanie Clark, even though his father had lied and manipulated him. Now Aiden and his brother work together in their own company, often proving to be in competition with

Aiden Kingman and Delanie Clark have history, not a happy one. When Aiden and his brother King worked for their not so nice, frankly dirty pool father in his business, the father undercuts Aiden in a business deal that was set to buy Delanie's fathers resort. The two were in a relationship which promptly ended the night she overhears what his father had done and Aiden's response.
Fast forward seven years, one marriage and divorce and her own business later, Delanie is asked by her former mother i

For Delanie and Aiden a business deal signaled the beginning and end of their happily ever after. Can seven years of heartache and regret help them find their way to a second chance? Young love and foolish pride left two hearts in ruins. Aiden Kingman broke his own heart to impress his father. He loss the girl of his dreams and a project he truly believed in, to his father's manipulations. Fight for You by Nina Crespo is book two in the The Kingman Brothers Series. This is the story of Aiden Kingman and Delanie Clark. I have read the previous book but feel you can make this a standalone one if you choose to do so.
Aiden and Delanie had been involved with a business deal and lies came between them. Aiden had taken his father's side which left Delanie and her father to take the hurt. Now all the years later when Delanie was asked to help with a business restore deal it brought her b

Well Delaney did have a reason to be angry and un-trusting of Aiden, I mean she and her father lost everything to him, but I have to say she truly forgave him easily without him actually trying to get her forgiveness the soup and medicines don't really count. So I understood that she loved him and has always loved him but maybe make him work for it a little longer than a day, but it is what it is. They still had some obstacles to overcome and eventually he choose her over everything. His father ...more

This book was just okay for me. I enjoyed the general premise of it but didn't feel the connection between the characters. There was very little communication between Aiden and Delanie despite the fact that they have a long history together. I wanted to feel more of the connection between the two but even at the end of the book it lacked.

I stopped reading at 45% . It was that or my mental health. The book began with the "hero" waking up after a one night stand and he actually has a conversation with that woman. That was so not my thing and still I was able to continue. Then the "heroine" who was supposed to be betrayed by him fell into his bed after a day(?) they saw each other again after those 7 years and the he showed zero redemption characteristics. I wasn't able to get into the story or like either main character, so I woul ...more

When I think second chance romance, I go in expecting wrenching emotions and young love torn asunder. From the summary we are told that Aiden betrayed his first love, Delanie and they meet by chance through a work negotiation. I was excited to see how these workaholic enemies would overcome their tumultuous past.

Unfortunately, the chemistry in this book was off. The only time I really felt the main characters connected was when they were physically intimate (those scenes were great). I think the

A great book about second chances and what you would do if you could have another chance to make amends for the past. Delanie and Aiden are both strong willed and will push each other every moment. But they also have that little part in each of them that cant deny how they feel for one another. Nina Crespo does an amazing job telling their story and keeps it interesting. They both will be tested and they will have to give up

I loved this second book in Nina Crespo’s Kingman Brothers series. This story does pick up where the first one left off, but it can be read alone. You don’t have to read them in order to understand what is happening and the backstory.
Aiden Kingman is partners with his brother, Nic, in Kingman Partners International. They buy property and either manage it or sell it off. Aiden has been doing this for a long time. He used to work for his father until his father’s business practices made him creat

This book was unexpected, in a good way!

The rich, fantastic world Nina Crespo has created is filled with charismatic, sexy, characters that I couldn’t get enough of in book one. I was super excited to dive into Aidan’s story and found myself right back in sync without missing a beat. Note: the book was unexpected because I envisioned a different heroine for Aidan. But, I set aside my book bias (I’m happy I did) and gave the true heroine a chance.

My Review:
This book is a second chance at love story that neither the hero nor the heroine ever saw coming.

Seven years before the two were desperately in love when a deal between Aiden's family and Delaney's father destroyed it all. Aiden's dad is a selfish jerk...that hasn't changed in seven years. What has changed is that Aiden has made it out from under his thumb so he has choices in how he conducts business now...because he owns it with his brother, King.

So, when Delaney is sent to negotiat

There are good main characters in this book. One main difference between Aiden and Delanie is their upbringing with their fathers. Delanie had a loving, supportive father. He was always looking out for her without being controlling. He had to be both mother AND father to her. Aiden had one nasty, controlling father who didn't care who got hurt as long as he got his way. Not only was he dishonorable in business, he didn't care if he hurt his sons as long as things turned out the way he wanted.

Fight for You is the second book in the Kingman Brothers series. This is Aiden's story. Aiden finds out he will be negotiating with Delanie on a business deal. Delanie is the girl who got away. Delanie is not happy to see Aiden. She thinks he betrayed her years before and wants to deny that her feelings for him are still there.

For the most part, I enjoyed this one. I didn't like it as much as the first book. The main reason was Delanie. I really never warmed up to her character. I'm the type of

Seven years ago Aiden Kingman betrayed the woman he cared a lot about. However, when he discovers she's been hired to help sell the property he and his brother want to buy, he realizes he's going to need all his charm in order to win Delanie over. Will Aiden get everything he wants including a future with Delanie or will he lose her all over again?

Thanks to the publisher for an eARC to read and give my honest opinion.

Second chance romances do well when the characters are not so hung up on the past. I found that this book did well in that aspect. Usually I'm annoyed because there is always one character who just stays firmly with one foot stuck in the past. The huge moment that made one betray the other playing over and over in a loop... ridiculous right? I'm spared that in this cute read about a guy who had to leave a girl behind, not be

I enjoyed this second offering in the Kingman Brothers series more than the first.

Delanie keeps running from the feelings Aiden rouses in her, but he's not giving up on her without a real fight this second time around. I bought the chemistry between the couple, and though she was extremely reluctant, there was no doubt that Delanie was just as crazy about Aiden as he was about her.

The author giving us a little peek at Sophie and King was a nice touch.

I had high hopes for this book because it is a second-chance romance and that is one of my favorite tropes! Unfortunately, I didn't feel the chemistry between Aidan and Delanie. And I also found it hard to connect with Delanie. Anyway, I DNF'd at around 42%.

If you're looking for a good redemptive love story Fight for You is the one you're looking for. There's something about having a couple find one another after a bad breakup years before that works for me. Not only do they have to work through their past differences, they also have to accept how much things have changed. This was a vast improvement over the first in this series.

Aiden and Delanie were torn apart by Aiden's betrayal. Delanie is confident, determined and successful and she needs to have more balance in her life. She doesn't want a relationship after her divorce and the betrayal by Aiden before that. Aiden knows he chose wrong when he was younger and his father betrayed him, in turn, causing Aiden to betray Delanie. No woman ever measured up. I love his resolve that he's not going to let her go again. His growth since he was younger is amazing and his swoo ...more
