ENGLISH:
Gabe has disappeared. Samir has taken him away and is torturing him to do exactly what he wants, including killing the goddesses one by one. Gabe tries to refuse, but when Samir threatens the life of his beloved Liv, he has no choice but to do what he wants, even when if it cost him a part of his soul. Meanwhile, Liv needs to learn to use her magic so she can find Gabe, but that's not easy. With the goddesses having their own extermination plans, Samir wanting to get rid of all of them, and no one being who they seem to be, Liv will have to find Gabe and stop Samir before a war ends with everyone.

Gabe didn't had it easy in this book. He must fight with himself to try to decide what is right. On the other hand, Liv discovers herself, and the truth about her family and even her friends. And that's because in this book, a ton of completely shocking revelations come to light. Nobody is who they seem to be, they all hide something, even their true identity.

I loved this rhythm in the plot. This revelations generated impressive twists and turns, something new happening on each page. I loved the big development of the secondary characters. The author gave each one a depth that made them even more interesting. I think the revelations of each one of them were the most exciting of this book. It made the reading completely addictive and entertaining, as well as shocking.

I completely devoured this book, it had a lot of action, tons of tension and adrenaline. It also had a lot of drama and situations that broke my heart, but also a beautiful romance. The relationship between Liv and Gabe is epic and special, and that was reflected in the last pages of this book that were precious. They both face the great challenge of choosing each other and being selfish... or saving the rest of the world. That choice is not simple, but both fought against all odds to try to save their own while taking care of each other.

They also face a new obstacle provided by voodoo. I found it very interesting that the author included this subject. It was a new element that I liked a lot and complicated the plot even more.

I loved this book and it was the perfect ending. Also this development of the secondary characters made me want to read stories about a lot of them.

The books of this author are really special and original, very creative about the subject, so I really want to know what is going to bring us in the future.

My Fan Art

This is a wonderful conclusion to another great series by the amazing Kimberly Loth!

Liv and Gabe are star-crossed lovers for sure, with Liv being an amazing Goddess and Gabe a Djinn. Can they possibly have a life together when their kind have been enemies for centuries?

This book has Jinn , witches, Goddesses and so much more. The way that the author wraps up all of the aspects from the first three books is very well done and very satisfying to the reader who has been following this story.

I always love the books that Ms. Loth writes and this one is no exception. Her books are always entertaining, fun to read, have just the right amount of romance without being sappy and give me what I am looking for in a book. If you love fantasy, great writing, a little romance and a HEA, grab the first in this series and don't look back until you finish "The Exploding Sky"!

What a great way to finish the series!

At first Gabe and Liv are in an impossible situation. Whatever choice they make will hurt people.
But after that anything can happen.

Loved how they battle internally with their personal love and their responsibility towards others.
Balance isn’t easy to find, but so worth it!

But is it really the last book, because the most evil and manipulative one got off very lightly? Or will the next book be from that point of view. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

It took me a while to get into it but when I did, freaking bombs were dropped on me from every direction!

This starts right after where the last book left off. Gabe is in trouble and Liv has to save him from Samir, along with them stopping a potential genocide from happening.

I didn't like the way Liv acted in this book. She was being a petulant child and not listening to anyone. I get it. You gotta save the love of your life, but can you for a second think about thousands of goddesses' lives that are in danger? Gabe acted more or less (less) the same but at least he was remorseful about it. And he thought he had no choice.

The relations between the characters that were revealed in this book were... I had not expected that. At all.

Also, Dylan *heart eyes*.

All in all, this was a satisfying conclusion to the series.

P.S.- Guess what theme Penny and Scarlett chose for the year? Not kpop.

I give this book 4.5/5 voodoo dolls.

Mother of Goddesses! I can't believe this series is over. The adventures of Gabe and Liv are over. No more running, lies, and secrets. Everything has been revealed and laid out. Anyone that has been hiding a secret has confessed. And my goodness, they were all so shocking and so jaw-dropping. Until now, I am still shaking my head in disbelief.

True that, this book concludes the four-book series of genies and adventures. If you haven't started this series, start it now. Right at this minute. You will definitely not be disappointed. If you love magic, love stories, mythical or magical creatures, then this is the story for you. It's so enjoyable that you will find yourself stepping into the shoes of Liv and get carried away by all her experiences, worries, and adventures. A lot of characters here may seem ordinary and not note-worthy, very unassuming characters that will definitely surprise you.

I have read this from the first book and now, this last installment. I have accompanied Liv in all her confusion, her exhilaration, her doubts, and all her fears. If I did not want to be Liv, I'm her older sister who wanted her to succeed in all the challenges that have been thrown to her throughout this story. Her character had developed beautifully as the story progressed and had come to terms with the changes and revelations that were part of her identity. She had surprised all those who wanted to hurt her and had tried so hard to protect those she loved. Here is another teen heroine who took me to various adventures, made me fear for her life, and have made me cry with her. It's sad that this story is ending but it ended with a lot of fireworks that I almost had trouble keeping up because they just came out right after the other without the chance for me to even breathe or think through them.

Again, classic Kimberly Loth with all her surprises coming from everywhere will bombard you endlessly. I did not see these surprises, especially in this last book coming. Never ever. I have no idea. They were totally out of the blue. They just came down raining faster than you can say "What?" Yes, you will end up saying the word "What?" again and again because of the numerous secrets and people owning up to secrets right after the other, literally. That was the best part of this book and I want to relive those moments again. Very priceless. I've never been hit with these multiple revelations before. Totally a first and a one-for-the-books kind of experience.

I only expected that the book will end happily ever after and that the villain will be extinguished. Those expectations were met but what blew me entirely was it was more than I could ask for. Freaking absolutely beyond my imagination. I never ever thought of those twists to come flying right out to me like Aladdin's magic carpet. It was super fantastic. Literally and figuratively, the sky has exploded in this story.

And with that said, I give this book 4.5/5 voodoo dolls. I love the surprises in this story and the whole series in general but I think it's slightly not as emotional as the Stella and Sol series. This is a very good series and I did enjoy it but I just love Stella and Sol even more. I think the Stella and Sol was a more mature story than this one with a lot of depth and drew a lot of difficult and complicated emotions from me. I know where the differences lie between this and the former series and it's also because the main character of this story, Liv, is a teenager and her experiences and what's expected of were totally different from that of Zwaantie but I just can't help but compare the two. Stella and Sol is deep and complicated and this one is loads of fun, lighter. This did not mean that this story disappoints. No, far from it. I absolutely love this though I did point out a few things that I would have wanted to be more on this series. Nevertheless, this book ended with major fireworks which is just beyond any I could ever imagine. And fireworks are always grand.

Mother of Goddesses!

Thanks again, Kimberly Loth for the ARC. I'm looking forward for the next series that will again take us to another adventure and get me to meet new characters and creatures. Congratulations!

Djinni’s spirits, Witches, Godesses all mixed up into a modern day world makes this whole series that Kimberly Loth has created feel so real. Her imagination has taken you through a journey from picking up some bottles in a market, to a whole new world of Lies, betrayal, suspense, danger, hate, horror, grief and disbelief, that has run alongside love, hope and kicking and screaming against all the odds to keep together a couple in Love, This last book, brings everything from the brink of disaster to an Explosive ending. When 4 books in a series can keep you coming back for more it shows the quality and talent of the author. Her Imagination breathed life into a storyline that stayed the distance, kept me twisting my hands and gritting my teeth, and yes, shouting out aloud 😂. She made it easy for me invest in the characters she created. To me they felt real, I felt their fear, their hope, how exasperated and scared they felt, when the road in front of them took turn after turn with never a straight run they could enjoy and just be. I loved the sassiness of Liv, and swoonworthiness Of Gabe, how the Whit kept them together when the world kept trying to tear them apart. It’s hard to give a full review because I dont want to let anything slip out and spoil your own enjoyment of this series. Everything about this series expected death from the beginning and finished fighting it to the end. You won’t be disappointed you will be riveted from the first few pages until the author lets you go with her very last word. Would I recommend this book and series, 100% I would.

This is the awaited conclusion to the Sons of the Sand series and it is explosive. It is the fourth book in the series and I recommend reading the prior books as it is not a standalone. Gabe has been kidnapped by Samir, a man he once considered his friend. Liv is beside herself wondering where Gabe is and how she will get him back. When it becomes apparent that Gabe is doing things against his nature in an effort to save her, Liv is forced to make a tough decision. She also comes to some startling realizations about herself and some relatives that she thought were long gone. Enhancing the storyline are Liv’s best friend Josie with her pet cobra, Ali and Dylan. All is not as it seems and are enemies really enemies or are they something else entirely? Who can Liv really trust? Can she get to Gabe in time? Ms. Loth takes the reader on a magic carpet ride into this stunning world of Jinn and Goddesses. She has the reader enveloped from the start and the story keeps itself wound around him/her until the very end. I cannot wait to read what Kimberly Loth has coming next! I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

Kimberly Loth never fails to deliver on a solid series no matter what twists and turns you encounter along the ride. The Jinns and goddesses were not my favorite subject matter, but regardless I still found this series enjoyable.

The final book started a little slow, which is understandable given the situation and the unknowns the characters were facing. However, once Liv and the rest got their feet under them things really started to happen. After a peak of action and a lot of explanations things wound down to a fitting conclusion.

In a review of an earlier book I commented on how keeping secrets results in over-complicated scenarios, and after finishing this book I couldn't help but go back to that thought. I think Gabe said it best when he said, "If she'd trusted me three thousand years ago, we'd be in a very different position now." A good lesson on the dangers of keeping secrets. :)

This is an epic finale to the sons of the sand series. In this story, all loose ends are tied up and we get to see each main character come into their selves. One thing I enjoy about books that end in a cliffhanger, which this does not obviously, is the fact we get to continue the journey with the characters. We get to have more details to situations and problems/solutions. It sets the finale book up for an awesome finish. It'll have you glued to your seat until the very last word. These types of stories are my favorite because of that. Once again Kimberly has given us a story where we can picture ourselves as the character. I'm glad she created the first genie story that I have read and enjoyed. It makes me want to find another one right away. I'm already having withdrawals! I can't wait to see what type of story she brings us next!

Oh my In this the 4th, I hope not final book, we pick up where book 3 ends.
The places we get glimpses of in these books really takes you to see some of the characters and scenes that would be amazing to witness. The magic of the Goddesses and Jinns is incredible. It was nice to know there was a limit, that even the Goddesses had limitations.
I loved this series so much. I think it's one of my favorites so far. I will say i hope there is a book 5. I felt it was left open so maybe we could go back and learn more in the future about Liv,Gabe,Ali,Bast/Grandma, and of course Hathor/Liv s mom/Melissa, not to mention All the other characters. There could be a book just on them. Dylan and the witches, along with Josie and cupcake. Anyway i am still processing this totally fabulous book. Good reading to all!

I really enjoyed this last book in the Sons Of The Sand series. The twists, intrigue, suspense and surprises in this book are excellent. I love the well crafted characters and the relationships in this story. The difficulties, heartache and struggles Liv and Gabe go through are astounding and you can’t help but feel their pain and their joy. It‘s a great ending to a thrilling series. I received an early copy of this book. This in no way influenced my review and all opinions expressed are solely my own.

UNEXPECTED & SURPRISING RESOLUTION TO THIS SERIES
I have been a fan of Kimberly Loth's work for a long time, & this latest book did not disappoint. I knew that there would be a twist or two (or three) before the end. It seemed as if there was no way that Olivia & Gabe would both survive & be together. The resolution of the series was sooooo well done. But I won't give any hints here. Suffice it to say that this series has a great plot, well-rounded characters, & is definitely worth your time. Highly recommended!

what a way to end the series. I have enjoyed most of Kim Loth's books ... although I have found some that I like more than others. Kim, well done! that was a twist I didn't see coming. Liv and her friends (and eventually family) have to save her Jinn/Djinn, Gabe. What an exciting twist of events that show what faith and determination will bring to a young lady in love. Liv, thank you for being strong and finding your way back to what you need out of life. Even with the suprises from your Grandmother trying to twart the way, you held your ground. (As always, thank you Kim for the ARC)

This is the fourth and final part of the Sons of the Sands series.
I was great to follow Liv and Gabe through their ups and downs, suffer with them when they had to make nearly impossible decisions. I love the story and the writing style, the different settings und the many unexpected turns.
It's really sad to see this series end. But I look forward to any new series or books Kim will conduct.

I've been eagerly awaiting the ending of the series because there was basically one driving plot point this entire time. I think the author really delivered on this one - there were definitely some unexpected twists!

With every book I found myself liking the heroine (and hero) less and less. Though they didn't impress me much this book, I think the protagonists grew and faced some hard truths.

If you've been following the series, I think this is worth the read!

With Samir out of control threatening witches and goddess Liv was desperate. Where was Gabe and why everything was changing around? Liv had to make hard decisions to deal with the chaos. Secrets and mysteries were revealed and what seemed impossible happened. Action, suspense, fantasy, magic, intense scenes, strong emotions in this final instalment. Very interesting and entertaining the conclusion of the story that I liked.

This was an intriguing ride!

I love the altrrnating views and the drama that happens. There was never a dull moment.

My only issue was specific details that are revealed in this novel. I felt that, though they made sense, it was just too much.

But overall, this book-and series in general- was absolutely fantastic.

Disclaimer: I had recieved an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Everything by Kimberly Loth is amazing first off, so this is no different. It's sad to say goodbye to Liv & Gabe in this final book in the Sons of the Sands. We spend more time abroad in this one which is always exciting for me to read about different countries.

Great conclusion to the series. Teen angst. Liv is a drama queen. Gabe is befuddled by Samir. Aside from Gran, nobody seems to be thinking straight. The twists and turns are righteously unpredictable.
