I like this textbook which tells what was happening when various classical music was composed or was popular. I only read 5 pages most nights and listen to the concert discussed. I don't necessarily read it in order. I finished Brandenburg Concerto and liked the antidotes.

Right now I have put it aside to read Kill Switch which I rented; My library didn't have it. But I will definitely return to it and maybe finish it someday. I like the book a lot but don't care if I finish it.
