This story was told from Solina's point of view so we know as much as she does, which is nothing, other than her brother seems to have been killed by a wolf. There are so many questions that arise that remain unanswered until close to the end, which leaves you with a cliffhanger. The build-up to that cliffhanger was brilliantly written. The Norse Chronicle is an Omnibus edition of three books. Although it’s long, the story is so captivating that I didn’t even notice it. :) It's perfect mixture of modern world with mythical world of Norse Gods.
