This is a must read for every fan of Norse mythology fan. Even if you have not read or seen much Norse mythology you will love these books. This urban fantast trilogy is the perfect mix of modern world with accident gods roaming this world among us.

Follow Solina as she discovers she is part of a world she never thought was real and as she learns so much she never even thought of. She uncovers secrets she was never meant to know, which puts her in danger and on the run. During her journey she me

Midnight Burning – 4.5
This story was told from Solina's point of view so we know as much as she does, which is nothing, other than her brother seems to have been killed by a wolf. There are so many questions that arise that remain unanswered until close to the end, which leaves you with a cliffhanger. The build-up to that cliffhanger was brilliantly written. Even with all the unanswered questions I felt like I really knew each character, choices they would make and how they would react. Ms. Laur

The Norse Chronicles is the Omnibus edition containing all three books in this series (Midnight Burning, Arctic Dawn, and Molten Dusk) by Karissa Laurel.

I had my doubts during Midnight Burning, the first book of this trilogy, because it seemed like the characters were following all the old PNR/UF clichés of the gutsy woman whose capability is a façade and would die without the needy, controlling creepopath who’s decided to own her. Despite my doubts, I kept reading because this book was addictiv

The Norse Chronicles by Karissa Laurel is a paranormal book series that was out of this world good. I tend to struggle with some paranormal stories yet even though a few pets were a tad over my head I never really felt lost, more impressed than anything.

Midnight Burning is the first book in the series and I really loved meeting Solina. She recently lost her brother Mani and has to go to Alaska to pack up his belongings. While there she meets some of his friends and start to feel like there was

The Norse Chronicles brings together books 1-3, Midnight Burning, Arctic Dawn and Molten Dusk all into one volume. The is also a Prequel novella called Moonlight Falling, which covers Mani trying to find answers to shadows following him and ice in his footsteps. Then his journey and work in Alaska and budding romance with a woman called Skyla. It’s a shame that this book is not part of the Norse Chronicles.

Solina Mundy has worked in her parent’s bakery for years, while her twin brother, Mani, ha

I am a really big fan of urban fantasy and this series is a really good example of urban fantasy done right. Laurel does a really good job and integrating the Norse mythos into the book. This book allows people that really don't have any knowledge of the mythos to come into the series and not feel left out. Since the main character is like that, there are a lot of explanations throughout the book to fill in the main character

The plot of this book is really interesting and it used all of the char

The Norse Chronicles are of strong and admirable characters. Can’t say people because I’m not sure if Gods, Wolves, Raven fall in that category.

Solina and Thorin have to take many chances on each other while following their hearts.
Their priorities are often conflicting and that could be fatal.
Great story!

The Norse Chronicle is an Omnibus edition of three books. Although it’s long, the story is so captivating that I didn’t even notice it. :) It's perfect mixture of modern world with mythical world of Norse Gods.

Ragnarok already accured and killed most of the Aesir, ones that are left are living more or less peacefully with humans. After decades of peace, there is threat of new Ragnarok. There is mystery to be solved, different creatures and Gods, amazing friendship, romance a
