Thank you to Booktasters and Kay Bennson. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Katniss Everdeen. That’s the first thing that comes to mind when reading this book. Another dystopian story. The Hunger Games is definitely a comp to Cassandra (Cassie) Routhier’s story. But where Katniss is saving her family, Freshman Cassie is saving her friends and her classmates at school.

Cassie is a typical teenager, attending high school, playing flute in the marching band. Ballet danc

This book commences as do many such novels - the main character, Cassie, a 14 year old in ninth grade, is making adjustments at a new high school, complete with potential boyfriends, descriptions of class, lunch, antagonists, etc. Then, it takes a dramatic turn. Faculty are advised that War Game XRI, a contest involving interscholastic combat, is about to commence, run by an organization entitled Chi Rho Iota. The announcement of this contest is met by horror and lack of understanding. The purpo ...more

This book was really interesting!!! And I really enjoyed it more than I was expecting it, because the reason I picked it up worked really well, and that's the friendships!!!! So the first third was great, the building of their team is fun and you get to really see the different dynamics and friendships between the characters (and there's some I really wish we had gotten to explore more), and the reactions to this war simulation are so realistic, especially with the parents, and then seeing them ...more

I so much love this book. I choose this book from Booktasters because I like it. I think it's like the not ordinary book of a YA fiction novel anyone could read. I am a good fan of a teen fiction and also with twists of romance and fantasy. It's a story of Cassie living in a town where nothing happened. In Settontown Delaware there is no crime and it was calm and peaceful. Settontown had its accomplishments like schools that did well enough on national exams, and a ballet academy that put on the ...more

If you likes The Hunger Games or the Divergent series, then you will really enjoy Limited Truth. Like Katniss and Triss, Cassie Routhier is an unassuming, but strong female lead who starts off as the underdog, but when faced with life or death situations in WAR GAME XRI, is able to find an inner confidence and use her strengths for survival. With Katniss, it was her archery; Triss her quiet control; and Cassie, her dance and performance skills. The story is action packed from start to finish and ...more

Fourteen-year-old Cassie Routhier’s only worries are playing well in the band, dance class and preforming well in her classes presentation of The Nutcracker and telling a guy in an upper class that she likes him. Well that is until the day this group called the Chi Rho Iota Corporation comes to their school and informs all the students that they have to participate in War Games XRI.

The students have no choice in if they want to participate in the War Games or not as the Chi Rho Iota Corporation

Great premise, well written YA novel in the style of The Hunger Games. Cass Routhier is the kick ass flute playing, ballet dancer heroine that we didn’t even know we needed.

Cass and her high school has been entered into a sinister corporation’s simulated war game versus a neighboring high school. Each school has their students split up into 12 person squads to work together to win the game. Cass and her friends (including several potential love interests) form the Squad Treble, made up mostly o

Firstly i would love to thank Booktasters for giving me the opportunity to read such an amazing book.

Easy reading with rich vocabulary. Very well written, and organized. If you’re still looking for a book that have the same vibes as “The hunger games” and “Divergent” series i totally recommend this.

You start reading and it’s no secret that it’s going to get messed up as u go on, but still you be nervous from the upcoming events.

I dont want to be the one to give spoilers away, but honestly i H
