"A first-class template demonstrating how to use superior leadership to drive performance in large organizations." - Paul Myners (Lord Myners), former FTSE100 Chair and Treasury Minister

In Leadership at Scale , McKinsey experts C laudio Feser, Michael Rennie and Nicolai Nielsen share their secrets on how to increase leadership effectiveness across an organization.
Using extensive research, distilled insights from McKinsey's leadership development work in practice, and lessons from a highly successful leadership development program, this book will focus on the leadership behaviors that matter most.

Second reading, hard cover. 4 stars for completeness and value as desk reference.
This book reads like a collection of McKinsey essays, with relevant chapter summaries, links to research, and the typical frameworks and diagrams to add structure.
What I like most is the applied science. Such as techniques to boost learning and performance for effectiveness and better decisions.
1. Single-tasking for focused attention (learn, execute better)
2. Growth mindset, awareness of stereotype threats (learn, perform better)
3. Eliminate biases for better decisions (execute better)
4. Health lifestyle: sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress, recovery (energy, clarity)
5. Meditation and mindfulness (attention, calm)
