a favorite book, the clearest info on how to draw given by a master on paper and text, I ever came across with. I found it by chance in second hand book fair in Nicosia. I normaly dont buy books that teach art cause I dont think drawing can be taught without a tutor but only by a book, but this one really teaches drawing. Im not sure why no publisher wants to republish it!! its better than many contemporary books on drawing IMHO of course.

This was more of a motivational type book where the author encouraged the reader to hang in there and keep trying. One piece of trivia I learned was that the Chinese word for elephant is "wei". Does that mean the Chinese artist wh named Weiwei is a big elephant?
