Julian’s the kind of sexy that demands a cigarette before sex.

He’s the whip and the cream on top of my chocolate sundae.

Hell, he’s the only man worth the fancy underwear in my panty drawer. But suddenly, the thong isn’t the only pain in my ass.

He’s rude. He’s arrogant. And he’s the single greatest threat to my job.

So, of course, I fell in love with my perfect enem

While the first meet between Micah and Julian might have been funny (in a twisted way since she's having a really bad day at work and now finds herself covered in mud), ultimately I just didn't like these characters enough to continue the story.

Micah and Julian , oh my I love a good enemies to lovers tale and Boyfrenemy was that and so much more.
Micah is a gal that has lived most of her life in the big city. She has now found herself working in small town government in a little place where everyone knows anyone! She has the power and knowledge to grant the expansions of small town business in this little town. She is a rule follower with a brilliant business sense and will not be swayed by a handsome face or back down from an argument.

Julian and Micah always seem to rub each other the wrong way. To bad they need each other to reach their individual goals. They need to learn to put aside their differences to achieve what they want, or in the end will what they want is each other?
Julian and Micah are true opposites but are a perfect example of why opposites attract. These two can't seem to be in the same space without fireworks going off. This story is mix of undeniable attraction between two of the most stubborn people, add in

It's a thin line between, love, hate and lust. Boyfrenemy goes beyond toeing that line. Julian and Micah are hotter than an inferno. Their battles are epic, the attraction is nuclear and the consequences are fatal. To the heart of course. The war was never the draw. That comes from watching the mighty fall. Humorous, hearty fun.

What happens when an uptight City girl has the say over whether a country farm boy can move forward with his family's farm renovations? Well of course they hop in the sack together. Some crazy antics, towns folk and family are all thrown in to this whirlwind of a story. You also get a glimpse at each of the siblings to find out what their personalities are and make you hungry to read their story.

Love everything about this book. Love the heat; love the chemistry between Julian and Micah. Great plot, great story, awesome read! Just what we’ve come to expect from Sosie Frost.

Boyfrenemy is a deliciously witty enemies to lovers romance.

When Julian meets the person who stands in his way of rebuilding his barn (his dreams), he doesn't expect her to be a beautiful, mud covered woman. Let's just say their meeting wasn't exactly solicitous, but soon enough the two are rolling around in bed and knocking Micah up. Oops! And when Julian realizes he has feelings for the contrary pain in his rear end, how does Micah react? Not well unfortunately. Thank God Julian has a plan to

Boyfrenemy is the second book in the Payne brothers series but can be read as a standalone.
Micah and Julian's story is an absolute fantastic book about enemies that turn into something so right but has a LOT of interesting things happen in between.
I think this is my new favourite Sosie Frost book.
I could feel her emotions written in her words and sense everything had gone into writing this book.

Micah is a woman who lives by rules and regulations. She must make sure every I is dotted and T is crossed. She has a life plan and nothing is going to get in her way. Especially a dirty talking, rule breaking cowboy with a broke down farm and a barn to build. Julian wants to make his farm work but he needs a barn. The barn goes again code and his only access is Micah. There first meeting is less than stellar but pretty funny. The start out hating each other but al

Boyfrenemy by Sosie Frost a funny and compelling five-star read, this is the second book in the Payne brothers series but they can be read as stand-alone, I have read and loved both so I may be bias. As I would say read both but I love a series. The chemistry and friction between the main characters Michah and Julian they really are straddling the line between love and hate and its not a little white picket version. I love a enemies to lovers story and this was a very good example, the writing f ...more

I loved this book!! I didn't realize until I sat down to write this that this is book two in the series. It read as a complete standalone and I did not for one second feel like I was missing anything. But, I will be going back to read book one.

I loved Micah and Julian. I loved the way they loved. I loved the way they hated. I especially loved the way they fought. The banter between these two was perfect! They had me laughing from beginning to end and left me with a big smile on my face.

Micah Robinson and Julian Payne are definitely an oil and water combination that doesn't mix in this love/hate relationship "romance" by Sosie Frost.

Micah arrives in the small rural town of Butterpond with a degree and a bruised heart. She grew up underneath her greedy developer father's thumb, and escaped from his influence only to find herself barely holding on to her position in Butterpond’s municipal zoning office after only four months. Apparently her strict adherence to the rules has her q

A sexy enemies to lovers story. The bickering between these two were something else. Fun to watch, yet at times made me cringe. The sex was hot and angry and hard. There was no sweet and slow here. This book picks up right where Baby Jacked (book one) ended. (Though you do not need to read that book to follow this one.)

He needs her to approve the construction of his barn, but unfortunately he insulted her before he even got a chance. Thus began the hate. She had more a reason to hate. His hate

Julian Payne is in desperate need of having his barn rebuilt in order to start getting his family farm back operational and hopefully heal the pieces of his broken family. His only two problems are that he needs approval from the city and that none of his other family members want to be on the farm.

Micah Robinson works for Sawyer County Zoning and has a meeting with Julian Payne and nothing is going right on her way to meet him. Her car gets stuck and she ends up in a pile of mud and she has jus

I totally loved these two characters. Their banter back and forth was brilliant and refreshing! The bar scene was hilarious. In fact there was quite a few hilarious situations in this book. And those poor Jimmy Choo shoes! Oh, how my hear broke, lol.

Micha is a zoning ordinance officer and she has to approve Julian's petition for a new barn, for the farm he trying to restore. But they get off on the wrong foot and it's an all out war of words!!

Julian is back home, trying to rebuild the family fa

Remember that scene in Cheers, where Sam and Diane are fighting, standing face to face, and they each say, "I hate you" then start kissing wildly? Yeah, that's the kind of relationship that Julian and Micah have in this hilarious book. Their love-hate relationship really is all about the hate at first, especially how much they hate that they're physically attracted to the other and just can't seem to resist scratching that itch every chance they get. Their banter is off-the-charts hot and ridicu ...more

Enemies to lovers, stubborn fear and arrogance abound

Boyfrenemy by Sosie Frost is a classic case of opposites attracting, stubborn refusal and fear-driven decisions.
This book is literally half hilarious back and forth sexually charged insults and half hilarious grudgingly accepting the sexually charged attraction.
Julian Payne, the town’s favored son, is arrogant, frustrating, condescending and then eventually sweet (subtly) and protective. Micah, a head-strong, fiercely independent and driven

Micah has a slight problem she is in love with the most obnoxious, infuriating Mann she knows. He is her sworn enemy. Julian all he wants is to run his family's farm, but everyone and everything seems to be against him with all the rules and regulations seems like he will never have things on track.

Micah and Julian seem to can't get along even when they are in bed anyone would think that they are a horrible match, but what happens when there Night of passion leads to an unexpected coincidence a

I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.

Sosie has out done herself here with Boyfrenemy. I had loved Baby Jacked & thought it was brilliant, but I think Boyfrenemy is slightly better.
So here we're starting the scene from Baby Jacked where Zoning Officer Micah Robertson turns up caked in mud to review the go ahead of the Barn ex Football player Julian Payne, (who's the eldest of the Brothers & Sister) so desperately needs. It was cluster after another cluster tha

This is my first book by this author. I found the writing style quite different so it took me a couple of chapters to tune in, but once I had, I found the whole book very entertaining. The visual writing is great especially the town and fair meetings.... they really cracked me up, I could just see all these older community members talking over each other and mis-hearing. At first I struggled with both of the main characters, but I found as they got to know each other then so too did the reader g ...more

Back to ButterPond with the wonderfully dysfunctional Payne family!
Julian Payne is set on saving the farm, while his siblings may not be so eager, he forges ahead- one roadblock- needing a new barn a new barn built- to do so legally the zoning has to be approved.
Therein lies the problem, well one of many anyway.. the zoning officer is Micah Robinson.. women hell-bent on showing him he is not going to get what he wants just because he bats his eyes!
As much as it infuriates him, it exhilarates hi

Sosie, Sosie, Sosie.
This book was way funnier then Babyjacked. I loved the chemistry and the dialogue between Rem and Cassi, But Jules and Micah story started with a Bang Literally(So much Mud 😆😆😆) These two had me laughing So hard I almost fell off my bed. I truly enjoyed the back in forth of thier little Sexual interplay with each other. Especially when she was trying to tell him she was pregnant. Things don't always go as planned!

That is what Micah Robinson and Julian Payne found out fast and in a hurry. Their first meeting was less than stellar and everything that could go wrong did. Even their second chance meeting in the local bar went the same way, but that third time in Micah's office was explosive and set the stage for the rest of their lives. They could not stand each other and at the same time they were sooooooo unexplainably drawn to each other. Jules found himself doing everyth

I read the sample and I stopped. This was horrible! I'm not even going to waste my time and money on getting the book. I can't believe a woman wrote this book. I don't know if she thought that sexually harassing a woman to get what you want would come off as funny and sexual chemistry but to me it came off as illegal. I guess it didn't matter if she figured this was more erotic fiction than romance but come on. Julian seems to think he's still captain of the football team in high school and she' ...more
This book is spicy, especially the dialogue.

Micah and Julian don't meet cute when the story opens, in fact it's anything but cute between them. That said, the fire the burns between them isn't just animosity. The heat between them smokes from jump and only burns brighter and hotter between them as things move forward. It's not just the chemistry between them that is incendiary that makes their love story a page turner, but also the dark humor flirtation as well. They can't keep their hands off

1.50 Stars. This story is awful. Awful. Awful. This is not a story about the reacquaintance of long ago adverseres nor ‘insta-hate’ between newly introduced strangers; it is errand slap stick comedy-period. Micah Robinson meets Julian Payne when she comes to his family’s farm in her capicity as the county auditor to advise him of what is needed in order for him to be grant a permit to rebuild the barn that was burned down in the first book of this series.
