Can I handle his BIG offer? Steady career. Apartment in the heart of downtown. Sleeps with an adorable poodle. If you read all that you'd think I was living the dream. But I've got a secret-- my life is a wreck. My “steady” career is running a barely read blog. The apartment? That belongs to my friend. At least the dog is real... but I wasn't joking, I literally share the couch with her. That's why, when I read the offer in my email to start writing for a company called Heart Makers, I hurried in for the interview. Wish I'd done my research. You see, Heart Makers is owned by the hottest slice of man-cake I've ever sat three feet away from. Chance Montgomery... my new boss. If him making me all tingly and awkward wasn't bad enough, the articles he wants me to write are. How can I write dirty dating advice and keep my cool around this man? But I need this job. The opportunity is too big to lose. What happens when our chemistry finally explodes... And he offers me something even bigger?
2.5 stars. This author writes a lot of sexy, smutty novellas with differing themes. Some I really enjoy but this one not so much. A little to cheesy and I didn't like the whole insta-love thing between the MC's here. A quick KU read so no harm , no foul.😎
I actually liked this one a lot. Chance and Caroline are very easy people to like, some things are a bit cliche but that's exactly what we need from time to time.
I liked Carolines blog posts, they were light and fun.
If you know this author, you know this is a fantastic short steamy read!
Chance had such a healthy view of dating, and I found that refreshing.
It was cute, steamy and sexy, and I did find the story entertaining. It was highly enjoyable with a steady flow. Because of the fact it’s such a short novella we don’t really get too much of a character built or very “in depth” moments, but I still enjoyed seeing these two characters finding love.

This was a great, fun, steamy insta-love read about two people who meet at just the right time and fall head over heels for one another. I really loved the heroine in this story-Caroline. She was determined, strong, sweet and alittle sassy. She was a blogger who writes this online column about her dating life that has a small following which is her job while she looks for a real job to pay her bills. She gets a job offer out of the blue and that is where Chance comes in. He is the CEO of the company that is offering her a job. There is this instant chemistry, a connection between them. I loved how fast the story flowed and the heat zinged between them. There is an element of danger, of angst, of drama but it really was great to watch two people fall in love. I adored the ending – the only thing that maybe didn’t work as well for me is that the ending felt a bit rushed. I would have liked for the ending to have been more natural and not rushed but overall, this was a great read. For Caroline and Chance’s exciting and unique love story, you need to read Penny Wylder’s latest.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
Caroline needs a job. She's tired of barely getting by with the ads from her blog. While working on the blog one day she has a message come through offering her a job. She can't believe her eyes, it's perfect. She has an interview in one hour and when she walks in her soon to be boss is a very sexy man. As usual Caroline is a klutz and kinda makes a fool of herself but he doesn't mind, he thinks its cute. Rumor around the coffee pot in the break room is Chance, the boss man, is a man of many talents but doesn't date in the work place. The women all have the same theory about him, he is such a sexy man. Chance has other things on his mind and it is Caroline he's thinking of, so her asks her on a date. Things between the two couldn't be better and the rumor mill at the coffee pot, well it turns out all the rumors are true! I enjoyed this book. It is fun, sexy and a short read for the afternoon. Highly recommend.
A cute, hot and steamy story with a storyline that will draw you in from the beginning. Chance is Caroline's hot boss at a matchmaking site. Their chemistry is sizzling right from the start and they both have a strong attraction. It's a quick read with lots of steam and great humor. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I did enjoy this but something seemed to be missing. I think the story would have felt fuller and more rounded if it had the male character point of view as well.

Oh lord Caroline and Chance are hot. I couldn't get enough of them.
Caroline blogs about her terrible dates and life. Getting the opportunity to write articles for a matchmaking site is break she needs.
Chance came across Caroline's blog and thought she was funny and he knew she needs to work for his company. He just never expected her to be beautiful, funny and adorably clumsy.
I just loved this story. An amazing short story about Caroline, who has her own blog about her dating life, or lack thereof. She has not been that lucky with her dates. She lives on her friends couch and has no job. Suddenly one morning she gets and email with a jobproposal she cannot refuse. Both main characters have to let go and let fate help them decide what to do. It is an enjoyable and very romantic read. Caroline is fiesty and strong.
This story has a bit of everything. I like that. It is a romance love story and I liked it very much. Emotional and loving story. Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop. A passionate and emotional read with twists.
I like it has an epilogue to finish of the story in a better way. There is passion, a few hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. I would have liked it to be a bit longer.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I've read a fair few things by this author and this story, I just couldn't fall in love with. The whole insta-love between the MCs was just too cheesy and corny. The female MC just couldn't make up her mind when sex was involved. No I just got this job I don't want to mess it up! Following paragraph she's having sex with the boss. Then she's just wants to run away when "blackmail" is involved. Oyvay!
Was a quick little Kindle Unlimited read so no harm. There's bound to be other books by her I like.

A fast paced, sweet, steamy read that lures you in from the beginning. Caroline and Chance are adorable characters, and their chemistry sizzles in and out of the bedroom. Ms. Wylder's stories are always well written and each one is unique. Her books are my guilty little pleasure in life and they always leaves me satisfied.
Very quick read. Insta-everything. Caroline writes a blog and has been living on her friend’s couch, while she tries to find a steady job. Chance reads her blog and thinks and thinks she would be a great fit at his company, a online dating website.
His Big Offer is a steamy, romantic read that I couldn't put down! The characters are well-drawn, and the story line just flows.
Caroline has had her share of bad luck, especially in the "Love Department". Chance is the CEO of a match-making company. Hmmm... Lots of possibilities for this story.
Penny Wylder wrote the story as a job offer to someone sleeping in a friend's couch while writing a blog about dating and relationships who ends up with a junk of heart as her new boss.
Between page 1 and the end, their story develops and your vicarious look into their lives holds your attention.
This is actually my 2nd reading of this book. After all, who doesn't like a happy ending? ☺
As a blogger, Caroline is used to writing about things that are happening in her love life. When she receives a job offer that incorporates her blog and a real dating website she thinks she has hit it big. But it is not until her interview with the head of the company Chase that her dreams really do come true. With a blooming love affair and a fabulous job what could go wrong? When someone from her past comes back to haunt fed will that be the end of her job and her HEA? This book had it all. Great characters, an enjoyable storyline and wonderful areas of humor. Another great read from Penny Wylder.
This was a short book. She was a woman without a work the only thing she did was a blog on her dates on the Internet. When she was contacted by a company that did matches she was shot it went in for her interview. When she walks into the office and sees him for the first time he’s so handsome that she falls over her feet and falls into a chair. The attraction to him is so strong she doesn’t know what she’s gonna do because she sure doesn’t want to lose a job that she’s finally good it will be fired at. It was a cute book short to the point
I think more books need to run through focus groups for title creation. I expected the "rock and a hard place" decision from her but there wasn't any sort of problem from her with multiple bad solutions. In comes future bf with his "big offer" and things are good for her now. Only hiccup between the couple was toward the end and it didn't even impact their relationship for a full 24 hours. Still enjoyed the book and gonna keep popping in on Penny's work.
What a fantastic story of a woman writing on her blog of all the bad dates she's had and the CEO of a matchmaking company, Chance, wanting to hire her to write for his company. Not only is his monetary offer something she can't say no to but wait until she finds out whether he has a certain body part pierced......according to rumors! What Chance can do with his PA package is off the charts! Caroline and Chance are a super sexy couple and so good together.
This book had me laughing out loud. I like the way Penny wrote parts of the blog at the beginning of the chapters, those were dead on lol! Chance and Caroline burn hot. The story with the bad date and the hackers trying to make her look bad felt real. Great read. Big fan of Penny Wylder
The story was okay but I wasn’t that vested in the characters. The story didn’t excite me because it wasn’t hot or cold. It was just lukewarm. It wasn’t a bad story but neither was it very interesting. I’ve read many of Penny’s books so this one won’t deter me from reading more books. Until next time y’all happy reading.
This was a fun, steamy, short read. I enjoyed the heat level and the Instant Love/Lust these two characters shared. The h is adorably awkward and Chance is smooth and confident. Excerpts from Caroline's blogs and articles are interspersed and are funny and add to the development of her character.
Join in a long list or first date mishaps. From the boring not going anywhere, to the hot bright white burn that in the morning isn't quite and bright. Then out of the blue the nasty date with an agenda that just isn't happening. Thank the fates the HEA is there for the save. Enjoy a great quick read.
His Big Offer is a quick read that provides plenty of heat and fun. Cute storyline, fun situations and dialog and likable characters create a very enjoyable reading experience. I am posting a voluntary review after reading an advance copy of this book.
If you want hot, quick, and dirty, look no further than Penny Wylder. I loved the chemistry of these two! Chase, the unapologetic CEO, and Caroline is so unfortunate in her love quests. The two find each other and can't hold back.. Hot and dirty..
