The smut was aiight.
When you dive into a book written by Madison Faye.. you will always get smut galore. Smut up and down the walls .. and that's the only reason you are really reading these things anyways.
Her Mountain Baby Daddies will definitely deliver the smut. In it, you will meet twin brothers which I honestly can't remember their names right now and Stella. She knows Katrina, who is from the first book of this series. They are basically besties for life but whereas Katrina's love life is thriving.. hers is definitely dying.
Stella's ex, who was a douche, just completely knocked her ass on the ground. He cheated and got someone else pregnant. Then the cherry on top of it all is that she, herself, can't get pregnant. Or so she thinks. Enter the twins - let's call them twin 1 and 2 because I still don't know their names.
The insta-love was there the moment they met at the lake. The one thing I still don't understand is how these guys are claiming this damn mountain as their own. Is that even a thing or possible? Please let me know, I'm asking for a friend.
The smut and romance were good but sometimes I just wish I got an actual story as well. Overall, I came for the smut and I got the smut. On to the next one!

This book is just over the top smutty and I'm definitely blushing as I'm reading it. It has a ridiculous insta-love and just rough sex. But am I ashamed I read written porn? NOPE.

I did not like this book as much as the others in the series I have read so far. Also I know it is silly, but why are the two men on the cover not identical twins?! I thought the meeting was much quicker and maybe a little rushed. Stella is running away from her infertility and cheater ex. The twins Austin and Dallas are running from being framed for murder. You would think that this would lead to a big blow up somehow but it doesnt. A man their father hires just comes to them and hands them a briefcase? Thats it. Also I was not happy that the whole pregnancy was just passed over as an after thought in the epilogue. How is it named Her Mountain Baby Daddies when there is no baby through the entire story? Ugh a little disappointed. Will definitely be reading the next one though lol

Stella is visiting Blackthorn Mountain to attend her best friend, Katrina's, wedding. (Katrina from book one.) She's had a crappy month - she was overlooked for a promotion and her third round of IVF wasn't successful. So, when two gorgeous mountain men catch her skinny dipping in their lake, she throws caution to the wind and has a memorable experience with them. When they turn out to be guests at the wedding too, what was supposed to be an anonymous one-time experience turns out to be more.
Ok, so I'm not reading this series for the plots. They are not great. Let's be honest, it's for the smut and there is plenty in each of these novellas. So if you want a quickie, these are great. There is just enough character development and plot to be fun, but really what you are getting is lots of sexy times.

this was laughably terrible, between the horrifyingly graphic sex scenes and the literal "i love you so much" after 24 hours of knowing each other. yes, i will be reading another one of these, because goodreads goal, but wow... straight up erotica is not for me probably! huh, who knew!

I completely adore this series. It is rough, sexy, and steamy. The characters draw you in and keep you entertained throughout. I never wanted the story to end but when it did, I was completely satisfied. Another thing is the passion that goes thru this story is electric, its steamy and its insanely hot. Madison Faye knows how to write some really hot steamy scenes that just leave the reader very satisfied and needing a stiff drink after reading any of her books, this book is included in that. Austin, Dallas and Stella make for a fabulous couple in this read. If you like M/F/M stories that have intrigue, danger, action, drama and intense passion, then you do not want to pass up her latest. This is an exciting story and you definitely don't want to miss it.

I loved this insta-love, mountain men romance. Stella is on the mountain to relax and get away from her hectic life after she has suffered so many disappointments. Plus her best friend is getting married on the mountain in a few days. While Stella is skinny dipping in the lake she is discovered by Austin and Dallas, the twins that live in the abandoned ranger station on the mountain. After a very hot and sheavy sexual encounter with the two beautiful mountain men Stella leaves to go to her friend's house and tells the guys that if it was meant to be they'd see eachother again. When they show up to help set up for the wedding and see Stella again they don't want to let her get away again. Grab this book and find out what happens when they meet again and see what happens when the men's past catch up with them. This is an exciting read and you definitely don't want to miss it.

Having to leave Texas, they are hiding out when they find Stella in their pond camping. Needless to say, she is everything they were never looking for.
Stella has been doing IVF and trying everything on her own. So now that two men are after her she doesn't know what to do.
Another steamy, dreamy, romance by Madison. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

I’m always stumped at writing a review for these books, like Alexa Riley, Ella Goode, Jenika Snow and some of Ruby Dixon these stories are short, hot, over the top and loads of fun to read, are they deep and meaningful literature...no, are there lessons in life to be learned... well sexy ones maybe, but they are fun, sweet and give you warm and cuddly feels.

Did not expect too much going into it, but could not bring myself to even finish half of it. The overuse of italics, about one word per sentence, became old quick and confusing. If the confusion of the oddly italicized wasn't enough the flow of the actual story had me flipping back a page or two to figure out what the heck was even happening or who was talking. Lastly, repetition... UGGG. I get it, the guys are twins and they SHARE everything, but it is unnecessary for them to share practically every sentence one after another.

This is the second book from this author that I gave a try, but that’s 2 too many. The writing is bad, so many repeated words, so many italic words that made no sense, so little plot. The smut is not sexy. I couldn’t finish and I’m definitely not trying a third book.

Gabriella is our FMC who grew up in the system got spat out of the system at 18 with her bestie Amber and has worked hard to provide a life for herself. She meets the man of her dreams on a one night stand a few months ago after her jackass ex she caught in bed with 2 of his work mates, but the universe had other plans and he left the next day and that was it. He plagued her thoughts also and she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
Fast forward 3 months and Amber who works for the doctors office brings Gabriella in as she’s not herself. After tests and scans it’s shows her naughty one night with Mr Captain Becker has lead to them pro creating and she is expecting his baby.
What does our girl do ? She packs her things up and goes on the hunt to find her dream man to tell him in person the news.
When she does tell him everything unfolds for these two and their love story starts the blossom and before long they are planning their future for baby slugger and everything Mac does is so bloody cute !!! A novella that delivers instant love and a light, easy-to-read plot, and yes, it definitely has an HAE too. Surprisingly, it’s actually a pretty decent read if you’re looking for a short story filled with steamy scenes and a simple, straightforward plot, with no unnecessary subplots.
I couldn’t give it a higher rating because it’s so short; it feels a bit unfair to compare it to the other books I’ve read, since this type of story doesn’t give me enough to fully assess. So 3 stars for this kind of story is actually a pretty good rating from me.

This book is just as crazy, entertaining and over the top as the rest of the series and the sexy times will make you want to have your partner of fresh batteries handy. This trio is fantastic, and I was hoping that Stella would enter the mountain at some point. She's the perfect woman for Dallas and Austin. Their attraction and chemistry is off the charts! The sex scenes are quite descriptive and enticing. The base story line is solid.
I didn't think that I would say this, but this one fell a little short for me compared to the others in the series. The actual story line (ie backstory) was lacking some of the same pull as the other books in the series FOR ME. Maybe it was the danger factor, maybe it was how they showed their protectiveness...I'm not sure. It's just not something that I can put my finger on. I did want a bit more interaction between Stella and Katrina and seeing more of the teddy bear from Braun.
