As a former USAF pararescueman, Jeremy O’Brien is used to following orders, no questions asked. So, when Micah, his boss at Hamilton Security, asks him to take on a special case, he readily accepts. Micah’s instructions are simple, find the man in the picture and bring him back to Chicago.

Seven years ago, Zane Wilkinson left the hospital against doctor’s orders, only to su

This is my first book of Annabella Michaels and I'm glad I decided to give this a try. This is a new series and it seems like is a spin off from her Souls of Chicago series.

In the beginning, I'm intrigued with the mystery surrounding Zane, the person that Jeremy was assigned to look for. I was anticipating a mystery/suspense story, but that isn't the case here. After meeting Zach, who Jeremy believes might be Zane, a big chunk of the story is about how Jeremy's effort to befriend Zach i

Full review to come tomorrow.

This is the first in a new series which is an offshoot of Annabella's Souls of Chicago series and it's focusing on Micah Hamilton's security agency (Landon Greene's husband and subject of Book 3 Protecting the Soul and it directly ties into book 5 in the series Uniting the Souls as it focuses on the search for Isaac's missing brother Zane.

I liked this a lot, it was missing the overly dramatic elements which can sometimes pull down a plot narrative and instead, all th

This book reeled me in from chapter one—such a great feeling. The prologue introduces us to Zane as he is recovering and then leaving the hospital. But then he gets dealt one last devastating blow and takes off. His injuries are fairly well catalogued, although there is no on page violence, and I was intrigued as to what his story would reveal. Seven years pass and Zane, who now goes by Zach, is living in a small cabin and working at a tourist lake. He’s close to

This was a much sweeter story than I was expecting. The blurb pretty much tells you what’s going on here with Jeremy on a case/mission to locate Zane. He’s been trying to track him down for a while but doesn’t have much to go on or even why he is being looked for. While following a lead, he ends up seeing a man who could possibly be Zane, but further investigation is inconclusive. He decides to get closer to the man going by Zach in order to verify his identity, and if it is Zane, bring him back

I hadn’t read this author before and since I’m a sucker for former military and security/bodyguard characters, this sounded like a good choice. It offered a decent hurt/comfort trope and a bit of mystery, with the main focus on Jeremy and Zane’s slow-growing romance. There’s quite a bit of page time used to show their interactions, however I think a little less mundane detail and more development of plot might have served better. Zane and Jeremy had a fair amount of background written in, but we ...more

Well well well! Let's talk about this book! I read all of Annabella Michaels' Souls of Chicago series and was super eager for book one in her new series Hamilton's Heroes, Found. The reason being, the way the last book in her series ended.

To make something clear, you do not have to have read Uniting the Souls or any of the Souls of Chicago books to read Found. Annabella Michaels writes it in a way that you aren't left feeling like you missed something.

Found is the story of Zane. To anyone who r

Cant believe it's Annabella's book! That's the only reason I did not give a two star.
It was very very slow.
I follow her books and I could easily relate who Zane was & how he is related to the previous series. It just felt like a foolish reason (which is mentioned in the end) for Mitch not knowing the whole mission & on top of that sending his trusted brother-in-arms on it. The whole confusion in the second half just felt a bit dramatic.
Overall, just wanted to skip the book but I'm a fa

I love slow burn romance. Coupled with a character who learns to slowly allow someone into their life again who they care and develop feelings for…it makes that slow burn even more sweet and poignant. Add in secrets being kept on both sides where you know they’ll cause an issue down the line, and it ramps up the tension a bit since you have no idea how the characters will react. All of these things contributed to this story being one I did not want to put down once I got started.

It’s impossible

Wow all of the high ratings make me feel like a complete jerk with what I'm about to say. I was really enjoying this story and was thinking it was a 4 star read until I reached around chapter 15 and frankly it all fell apart for me. I even wondered if someone else had written the last 35% it felt so different. Suddenly the dialogue felt unnatural--people don't talk like that, especially 25 year old men. There were constant tears from just about all of the characters mixed in with simpering, ador ...more

I like this more than I thought it would. Jeremy and Zach/Zane were very cute together. Each man slowly opening up to each other and realizing that may be life really is better with a partner. Didn’t fell as though I was missing anything not having to read the Souls of Chicago series but heading back to catch up.

The story of these two men really draws you in, the link to the previous series lets you keep track and updates you on what is happening in the Greens lives. But what I liked the most was how authentic the story was in dealing with the issues of abuse and how this impacted not only Zach/Zane but on Jeremy too. if you want your heart ripped out them put back together this book is for you

Found: Hamilton's Heroes series, what a great spin -off.

First off, I just wanna say, I'm a huge fan of Annabella Michaels Soul of Chicago series, and I've bought them all. Truthfully, the only one I wasn't in completely love with was Construction of the Soul. When Found came out and I read the blurb, I pre-ordered straight away, despite not enjoying Akio and Morgan's story and not completely connecting with Matt, Hudson and Issac in Uniting The Souls. Yeah I dunno why that was, but I was on stru

This is one of those books that breaks your heart in so many ways and hen when you think it cannot possibly turn out to be good, it puts your heart back together again and makes you so very glad that you read this sad tale. This could not have been an easy book to write and Annabella wrote it so beautifully.

Jeremy works for Hamilton Securities and has taken on a case of a missing persons. He has been searching everywhere with what little information he has to find Zane and has come up with dead

Found is book 1 in the Hamilton Heroes series, which is a spin-off from Annabella Michaels's Souls of Chicago series. While it could technically be read as a standalone, some of the characters from books 3 and 6 from the SoC series are featured in this book.

Jeremy is a retired USAF pararescueman, who is now working at Hamilton Security. When his boss, Micah Hamilton, asks him to look for Zane Wilkinson, of course, he agrees. However, upon finding Zach, who he is pretty certain is Zane

This is my first book by Ms. Michaels. I didn’t realize it was a spin-off of another series and other than meeting characters from that series, you don’t need to have read it to read this book (although I’m wondering how reading one particular book would affect my perspective going into this one). This is a decent start to a series with likeable characters that I’m guessing will all get their own books. There is really nothing new here…the story is very predictable. I love love love this author. Annabella Michaels is amazingly talented and her stories always keep you enraptured from beginning to end. Jeremy and Zane's journey was very slow paced then any previous books I've read from this author. It was very sweet and sexy as these characters build up their friendship to more.

Zane's past is just absolutely heartbreaking and I just loved his strength, his will to survive and his determination to move forward. My heart hurt for him. Jeremy was exact

Loved it! Great start to a new series. I loved getting to know Jeremy and Zach. The character development was so well done that I could totally empathize with the characters and feel their emotions. The premise of the search bothered me...why would Micah take a case without the whole story? And why would he assign a case to Jeremy without all the information? Seems like a half-assed, potentially dangerous way to do business, even for friends. And obviously they knew at least part of the story or ...more

Very Mills and Boonish, in all the wrong ways..

I know that I'm in the minority here, and not sure what I'm missing, but I thank goodness that this book is on KU. I got so far and then had to skim read it. To say that it's melodramatic is an understatement. I know it comes highly recommended, but I thought that it really lacked substance. The characters were wooden, the sex scenes were perfunctory, and the dialogue was overly grandiose. Everything about it was just OTT. It was, as they say in my

I'm so excited to finally meet Zane!
He's sad and broken 7 years after losing his brother, but he does his best to move ahead day by day.
Jeremy has been given an almost impossible task of finding a man who disappeared 7 years ago. After months on the road, he sees someone who might, possibly, plausibly be that man.
The chemistry between the two is so smooth and they fall in love almost while they aren't looking.

Awesome start to the new series. If you've loved Souls Of Chicago Series and want to see more of this world you'll be excited for this. Here we finally meet Zane, and those moments are just as heartbreaking and heartwarming as you think they were going to be. Jeremy is sent on a mission to find someone but doesn't know why. They both have scars and through their time together grow a friendship that turns to more. We get to see some of our favorites from the other series, and of course when the b ...more

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. The whole 'I've got a job to do but I can't help myself' cliche, I was not feeling it. Jeremy would do whatever his boss asked because he respected the hell out of him and he's like a brother, family. Buuuuuutt....... never mind because I found 'The One' so I don't love and respect my boss that much. Maybe it was just Jeremy that I didn't like because he could have been a man and been honest but he wanted to lay blame on the boss and job but ...more

Zane wondered around from town to town and from job to job never letting anyone in. He is heartbroken about the loss of his brother still after seven years. Jeremy is searching for Zane but has no real idea why, his boss just tells him to find and bring him back without violence. Grab this book and take this road with these two great guys and see if a

3 stars. I think this is a good start to the series and I will read the next book. Under different circumstances I would have loved the MCs, the campground location, and supporting characters. However, due to the whole situation Jeremy is in, all I felt for so much of the book was dread over what would happen when Zane discovers the truth. Then once we get a resolution, the "feels" for me didn't have to do much with the MCs but Zane and some of the supporting cast.

Amazing

Annabelle has written another winner. I love the story of Zane and Jeremy. Jeremy was given an assignment to hind a man and he ended up finding the love of his life.
Zane thought he had lost the only person he loved and who loved him, but with Jeremy's help he was reunited with the brother he thought was died.
Though heart and secrets Zane and Jeremy fine their HEA with each other.

Such a great sequel to an amazing series! Get ready to meet a bunch of incredible people, and catch up with old friends. Annabella ended her last series (which if you haven't read, you're missing out!) with Isaac, Matt, and Hudson, and Isaac's search for his brother.

This is an amazing story of inner strength. Jeremy and Zane will capture your heart and literally keep it, long after you've finished this amazing book!

Omg, I could not put this book down!

Loved this book! Once again, I've found a wonderful new author! This is my first book by this author, but it will definitely not be the last. Loved Zane and Jeremy. My heart went out to Zane and all he had endured. Jeremy was loving and understanding, and everything he needed. I was so happy when Zane found out who was looking for him, I was in tears! Great book! You have a new fan Ms. Michaels!!!

Beautiful...

What a wonderful story. A man running from his past, and with great loss in his heart. I could feel his loneliness with the authors words, and I hoped he’d find someone to fill his heart. And he did find it. The love between Jeremy and Zane (Zach) is beautiful. Zane’s past is hard to read, I cried for that boy and his brother. But the unexpected happened at the end. I won’t spoil it. Wonderful story, a must read.
