A hockey-playing prince, a most improper lady, and one accidental pregnancy…

When you’re an heir so spare that getting attacked by a shark is more likely than you ever wearing the crown, you’re only allowed certain liberties. Yet still, those liberties can bite you in the ass.

Good thing I’m such a charming devil.

Even then, I’ve been banished to America for a year under the

Royally Pucked by Pippa Grant is a stand alone rom-com although the characters do recur from her other books.

Manning Frey, professional hockey player with the Copper Valley Thrusters, has been given a year to play in the United States. Manning, otherwise known as “Your Highness,” is fourth in line behind his brothers and nephew for the crown of Stolland, a Viking country in the Norwegian sea.

Once again Pippa Grant brings back her signature humour and takes us on a royal ride with Gracie and Manning. I have been so excited to read this one since they met in Joey's book. Although this one is super funny, it's not as hilarious as the others. And that's ok. We got a lot more in this story. Manning is trying to do right by Gracie and his family and marry his betrothed, Gracie refuses to let that happen and makes it her mission to save Manning's happiness, even if it isn't with her.

Oh. My. Freakin'. Dog!! Get this book NOW! This has got to be the most side-splitting, gut-busting, laugh-so-hard-you-cry, spew-your-drink, my-side-hurts-make-it-stop, hilarious rom-com I’ve ever read! Somehow I found my way to this author's newsletters and that delightful entertainment prompted me to grab the chance to read an advance copy of this book. My only regret is my failure to highlight these laugh-out-loud gems as I read so I could quickly recall them the next time I need a laugh, whic ...more

Every time I read one of Pippa's books, I am astonished by how much I love her characters. And every time I finish one of her books, I am torn, because I can never decide which of them I love the best.
Manning Frey is the spare heir to the spare heir, and then once again. Having departed Stolland, under the guise of playing ice hockey in the United States, he left trouble and drama in his wake, in the form of the prime minister's daughter. Being a super-extraneous spare means playing the role of

What do you get when you mix a prince, a southern belle, dinosaurs, cookies, and a Berger twin? One hilarious, wild, royal romance!
Gracie is from Goat Tits, Alabama and owns her own scandalous cookie company. She is the best heroine ever. She has some self esteem issues when it comes to her intelligence because of her dyslexia, but she makes up for it in all other areas. She’s strong, determined, and doesn’t try to impress anyone. She owns her personality and makes the best of everything.

Author's note, April 2020:
I can't believe Manning and Gracie are two years old!! To celebrate, their audiobook has just gone live, with Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose narrating. WOOT!!!
Perhaps I should go have a dickookie now too... :-)

What a great RomCom. The banter between the hockey playing Prince and the cookie baker from Goat’s Tit, Alabama is a just great. The author has written a funny storyline with perfect characters for the pets but trust me when I say it’s not all laughter and sunny days for sure.

Prince Manning is the Royal Family’s trouble child. He is always embarrassing his father the King and his knocking-up Gracie, the cookie baker, is not going to sit well. But Manning wants Gracie and the baby and not the li

In the third book in Ms. Grant’s rom-com series, Gracie Diamonte and Manning Frey have had a flirtation going on since the last book, The Pilot and the Puck-Up. Gracie Diamonte is a simple girl from a simple world, otherwise known as Goat’s Tit, Alabama. *blinks* She’s a baker, and she’s got a thriving business making Dickookies and Pussookies.

Why yes, that’s exactly what you think it is. Manning Frey is a prince. Nope, not just a prince of a guy, a legit prince, who’s in the States for a year

I knew it! I knew I would love that Royal Puckhead! And Gracie! OMG she is so perfect. This book is fighting for the number one spot with Mr. Romance (cause Knox, duh), it was just so good. If you're ever looking to literally laugh out loud while reading and at the same time sigh from all the romance, you need to jump on the Pippa train right this minute.

Manning is so damn swoon worthy it's almost disgusting (but not really cause he made me smile through the book), and Gracie is this little fire

Oh Pippa, you're very quickly becoming my new favourite author!

This is the second book by Pippa Grant I've had the pleasure of reading. I've now gone back to the beginning of her catalogue as I need more!!

This book was brilliant! From the fantastically punny title, to the hilarious characters and heartfelt storyline; I loved every minute.

Royally Pucked is Manning and Gracie's story.
Her eyes bewitch me. Duty and responsibility fade away, and all that's left is simple fascination for this woman who is unexpectedly carrying my child.
Fatherhood is nothing I've ever wished for. Yet the idea of a wee one tromping around the meadows with her dark eyes, hockey stick in hand, torturing the sheep and running and laughing-

Pippa Grant is back with her latest “Royally Pucked”. This is a standalone yet we do get to see previous characters that tie in to this story make appearances. In Royall Pucked, Manning Frey is a real-life Prince who is asked to leave his country by his father, the King, because his image was messed up and although he is not next in line for the throne, his father told him to go get that image fixed and fast-but it needed to be done outside his country. Oh my dog, you need to read Royally Pucked right the hell now! Well, if you want to wait until after you read this glorious review that’s fine too. BUT be sure to one-click Manning and Gracie right there after. Don’t make me get Manning to issue a royal order or something . . . well, he’s like 10th in line for the throne, so maybe that won’t really work out for me after all . . .

Royally Pucked by Pippa Grant
“Hilariously disastrous in the best way, 5 stars”

Manning was banished to the states to play hockey and clean up his act. He was perfectly okay with this since it meant getting out of his princely duties and away from the woman he’s supposed to marry. What he never thought about before hand was Gracie and what would follow after meeting her.
Gracie is not living the life she always wanted. She didn’t know a learning disability would leave her setting for her fall back

Royally Pucked follows Gracie, the sister of the previous novel’s leading lady Joey, and Prince Manning of Stolland.  Gracie is a small town baker who creates cookies with pictures of people’s faces, etc. and yes, even their genitalia when requested.  Manning is on loan from his country to the NHL for a year so his father can smooth over his latest indiscretion before he’s to marry his betrothed once he hits 30.  What these two have can’t even really be classified as a one night stand but nevert ...more

Pippa Grant has done it again with another hilarious book. I have read every book of hers, and her wicked sense of humour astounds me time and again. She is definitely a one click author for me.
You couldn't get two more polar opposites than Gracie & Manning, but even throughout all the craziness that is just Gracie herself, you could tell that these two were meant for each other. She has an absolute heart of gold, and I think Manning is lucky that out of all the men in the world, she chose him.

I’ve got a huge girl crush on Gracie Diamonte. What an amazing heroine she is. Vulnerable, but so darn plucky. Full of bravado, and fiercely loyal to those she loves. Afraid, and brave. One of the most complex and delightfully endearing characters I’ve ever read. I loved her!
And Manning is the Prince, the man, that deserves such a special woman. So much more than he appears. When you dig beneath the surface smile, and the carefree demeanor, you see the weight he carries

I have loved all the Pippa Grant books that I have read and this was no exception. The characters and the plot were all so perfectly written and I was so incredibly charmed by this book. I fell in love with Gracie and Manning in The Pilot and the Puck-Up and it was so nice seeing them get together in this one. I'm not going to lie and say that Ares isn't my favorite character and I am the most excited I could possibly be for Beauty and the Beefcake, but I had such fun reading this book. All of t ...more

I feel completely satisfied and happy to finally have read this book! It was a totally fun, sexy, delectable romance with the humor I come to know and love from Pippa Grant. I laughed, I swooned, I giggled, I loved, I was all sorts of AWESOME!

I’m not going to lie. I was surprised when I liked Pippa Grant. I know, I know. Hush my mouth when I’m talking to you. I fully admit I was wrong, but when I first read the book descriptions I thought they would be nothing more than completely over the top ridiculous comedy. Don’t get me wrong, there are over the top hilarious moments, but there is so much more. Now, I am rushing to get my hands on them as soon as they are announced. I honestly think they get better and better with each

I was given this ARC as an honest read for an honest review. This was my first time reading Pippa Grant. She is full of surprises!! He characters are intense and complex along with being funny.
This is Manning and Gracie's story. Manning meets Gracie at a charity golf event and is taken by her sweetness and also to piss her Sister Joey off. Then you have Gracie who is taken with Manning and how she feels so at ease with him.

Another great read in this series! I loved Mister McHottie (Chase and Bro) but Manning and Gracie are a definite contender for my favorite with them. These two are just perfect for each other and even though it took unforeseen circumstances to bring them together, I'm glad they found their HEA with each other. I felt so bad for Manning being forced into a marriage with someone who he didn't love but also learning of the issues because that brought on the betrothal. This man deserved happiness. G ...more

I like romantic comedies because they give you respite from day to day mundane and complexities of reality..
Pippa Grant really do it well when it comes to romantic comedy. Her characters are larger than life but still so relatable. I loved all her books. They all are unique in their own way and leaves you with anticipation to know about other characters.

If you are a fan of Pippa Grant, you will love Royally Pucked, a standalone with tie-ins of the characters you enjoyed from the books previously published by the one and only Pippa. I personally like reading books in a series because you get invested in characters and it’s great to see how their lives continued after their book ends.

Pippa Grant does it again! This was a wonderful book. I just love her books more and more with each title I read. This book was no different. The characters in this book were really likable. Pippa Grant may be a relatively new author. Fact- she published her first novel, Mr. McHottie, at the end of October last year. That’s four books plus a Christmas novella in less than six months, folks. These books are flipping awesome and seriously funny, placing Pippa is solidly in my go-to list.
Royally Pucked is the fifth and latest of these books.
