Each book features an easy-to-understand story about a typical day in this dinosaur's existence. Keep your pronunciation guide nearby. Inevitably, there will be the name of a dinosaur (or two) you can't pronounce simply by sounding it out.

This book series tells the story of the dinosaurs. It reads like a fictional story but , it actually teaches the way each of the dinosaurs would have lived.

hmmmm...my son and I have read many books from this series and this is the first that was penned by someone other than Rupert Oliver....I could tell right away. It was just lacking a certain Je ne sais quoi.
The story is about a juvenile ichthyosaur whose mother keeps trying to give her the shake. Turns out she is about to have another little one. Eventually our star ichthyosaur gives up and accepts that she is now on her own.
Maybe not the best story if you are expecting a new baby in the family! ;)
