In this heartwarming, feel-good novel, a snowstorm brings a cast of very different characters together at a sleepy New England inn, just in time for Christmas—and maybe even in time for a Christmas miracle.

A New England inn seems like the picture-perfect place to spend the holidays. But when a snowstorm shuts the roads and keeps them all inside, the guests find themselves

First of all, look at that terrific cover. And I love the title too. Because of these features, this book was love at first sight for me. I know, it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but my last book was a head banger and I was ready to fluff out—and this book did not disappoint.

Hannah is supposed to get married at this beautiful little inn in Vermont over Christmas. The inn owners are looking at their last Christmas at their beloved inn as local competition has badly hurt

A cozy inn in rural Vermont? Stranded guests snowed in by a blizzard? A wedding that may or may not happen? Drama and fledgling romance at Christmastime? Sign me up! Loved this cozy, atmospheric tale with a large cast all snowed in together for the holidays. Sleigh rides and Christmas cookies. An inn to save and a struggling writer. Old flames and new love. This had all the cozy aspects of a Christmas tale I truly loved with lots of happy endings.

I know it’s way past Christmas, but I didn’t get a copy until well after the holidays. The winter setting and beautifully described inn are more the stars than the holiday, so that’s okay! There are several little stories/romances here, and each one touched my heart!

Molly a popular author of children’s books is having a bit of writer’s block and hopes her stay at the picturesque inn will spark a story. Nothing works until Marcus and his two little girls, Bailey and Addison show up stranded by

I typically don't find myself reading seasonal reads. They usually are exactly as I think they are and my required reading usually stays in the thriller, crazy world. I decided this year to read a Christmas book on Christmas day and this one looked like a good way to go! (Thank you Howard Books!)

It IS exactly as I thought it would be and I loved it! Color me Christmas-ed and jingle my bells! There's as plethora of characters to get to know and they're all quirky in their own blessed way. My
How does a small, quaint old inn compete with a bustling, modern ski resort? Very carefully. Jeanne and Tim run the Evergreen Inn in New England, along with Iris, whose ancestors built the Civil War-era home. Iris sold the property to the couple at a bargain price with the stipulation that she could stay and help out. Through attention to detail and personal touches that make each guest feel special, Jeanne has done a fabulous job keeping the inn afloat. However, the couple is having difficulty ...more

What a beautiful story THE WHITE CHRISTMAS INN is! The cover just screams holidays to me and I was in love with it the first time I saw it! Once I started reading, it was very hard to stop! The twists and turns made it impossible to put down, as I had to know what was going to happen to Molly and Hannah. What an awesome story. All of Colleen's characters feel genuine and relatable and put your emotions on one heck of a roller coaster ride. As you are reading,

DNF at about 50% // I think if I had sat down and read this book in a couple of sittings it would have been fine, but because I read it in 15 minute spurts here and there I became bored and eventually gave up. And since I never wanted to pick it up, I ended up getting almost no reading done. I finally threw in the towel and decided if I wanted to be reading something, it wasn't this. One thing I learned from this book is that while I thoroughly enjoy Hallmark movies, reading them might not be my ...more

Thank you to Howard Books & Netgalley for the chance to read and review this novel!

Are you all about Hallmark Christmas movies? If so, The White Christmas Inn is for you. Immediately, I was drawn to this book because two of my favorite Classic Christmas movie titles are joined together: White Christmas and Holiday Inn. This book doesn't have anything to do with the two movies, but all of the cozy Christmas feelings you'll receive are the same. Stranded in Vermont - check! Love connections -

More 3.5 Glittery Snowy Stars

Maybe the best time to read or listen to these comfy little rom-com books are in January, when Christmas is over, the decorations are put away and all we have left are the grey days after the holiday fun.
Guests were about to arrive for a Christmas wedding when a huge snowstorm blankets the Northeast and surrounds the little Vermont Inn with three feet of snow. The wedding guests may have trouble
First of all, I'd like to say, I adore this cover! It reminds me of home in the country! And may I say, it's perfect for this story?

This is the story that I actually wanted to be in! I wanted to be at the Inn right now, admiring all the decorations, smelling all the scents of Christmas, and the cooking! Right there in the middle of nowhere, basically with lots of snow after the blizzard. The author was speaking my language as soon as I read the first page. I did not put the Nook down until i

So cute, so precious, and an absolute perfect slice of Christmas. It feels exactly like a holiday movie as you read, and every single character you follow at the Evergreen Inn is wonderful!!

“Welcome to the Evergreen Inn.”

Have you ever dreamed that a fictional place could be magically made real? I’m sure I’m not alone in this kind of bookish wishful thinking. Well, allow me to add one more spot to my list: The Evergreen Inn. Nestled in an idyllic Vermont valley surrounded by mountains, the Inn is as perfect as a postcard - think green roof trimmed with pine, a friendly front porch, twinkle lights in the windows, smoke puffing out of the chimney, and a little light snow globe action

A really charming feel good book! I felt like I was in a Hallmark Christmas movie the whole time. Also this book will make you very hungry, so many descriptions of tasty treats!

A heartwarming holiday addition to the libraries of Christmas fiction aficionados everywhere. Think vintage 1942 movie 'Holiday Inn' married with Debbie Macomber's classic Christmas brilliance and you'll have an idea of what to expect from The White Christmas Inn.

Rich descriptive prose provide lush ambiance to this incredible story of a diverse group of travelers stranded at a Vermont inn over Christmas. Everyone has a story and the way the author skillfully weaves intricate details of their

This was full of cheesy Christmas goodness. It felt like a Hallmark movie in a book. I loved the setting and the cute storylines. I just wish I felt more connection to the characters. I’m not sure why but I was never 100% sold on the book. I only had one real “aww” moment in the book. But if you like a good cheesefest, then you’ll love this.

What a perfect story for this time of year, filled with the hope of Christmas. My one complaint would be the characters were bigger then life and the storyline a little schmaltzy... but as I sit here reflecting upon it the weekend before Christmas, maybe that’s EXACTLY why I loved it so. Happy Holidays everyone!

A lovely story full of hope, family, friendship and love. A diverse group of people are gathered together at a picturesque Vermont inn over Christmas. People with broken plans, broken dreams, and broken families find a home for the holidays, and a healing place to begin again.
The story was told in a way like a series of snapshots, moving between scenes featuring different characters. Eventually the group gathers together in a closer family atmosphere as they celebrate Christmas. The lovely

I really liked this very charming multi-storyline book. A snow storm at Christmas time brings together a wonderful group of characters who's live touch each other in such a heartwarming way. Jeanne and Tim worried about the future of their inn. Molly Is hoping the scenery will help with her writers block. Marcus and his adorable daughters are looking for a place to wait out the storm. Hannah is supposed to get married and her best friend, Audrey, whose military husband didn't make it before the ...more

I enjoyed this heartwarming Christmas story from beginning to end. Everyone at the Inn had a certain expectation for Christmas and yet nothing has gone as planned for anyone to all their dismay.
But with a lot of hope and a little faith, this may turn out to be the best Christmas ever. I thank Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

If you are someone who counts down to Christmas by watching Hallmark Christmas movies, then curl up with this book! I always like to read a heartwarming story set during Christmas over the holidays. I was thrilled to have this one arrive and the cover is gorgeous. It was the perfect setting to get me in the mood for Christmas and the right amount of romance and happiness to give me a break from some of my heavier reads.
