Another great story with more details of Boyd and Caleb. This time it will involve Boyd's daughter, Ella, who he didn't know about until recently. When he goes to visit her, she springs a surprise on him and while he's shocked at first, he realizes that he really is happy and wants to help her in the way he wished he could have all the years he didn't know about her. Caleb is just as happy to have Ella in their lives but his family still continues to harass him. Will they ever leave him alone? And what happens when someone tries to kill Ella? This was a fairly short read for me and I really loved being able to delve more into the relationship between the guys and how Ella was going to play into that. Another winner from Tymber Dalton as far as I'm concerned!

This book is the continuation of Indifference of Heaven. Boyd and Caleb are two men in love and are trying to figure out their lives together. They have been hit with some curve balls. Boyd has found out that he has a 20 year old daughter and Caleb is not out to his family and they are becoming increasingly insistent on meddling in his life. The men have an unbreakable love for each other and we journey along with them to find their happily ever after. It is not easy and sometimes not pleasant, but it is realistic and captivating. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Book #69, Suncoast Society. Boyd, TISSUE ALERT! Boyd, Caleb, and Ella's story is heart-wrenching and utterly riveting!

SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS THE CONCLUSION OF BOYD AND CALEB'S STORY BEGUN IN INDIFFERENCE OF HEAVEN, BOOK #68. THAT BOOK DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE READ BEFORE THIS ONE. IF YOU HAVEN'T, THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS.

Boyd and Caleb have finally embraced their love and kinkiness. But will anything ever be simple for these two? Boyd's still Caleb's direct superior at work. That simply CAN'T come out. There's a way to fix this, right? Caleb's spent his entire life in the closet. He won't hide his love for the man who's stolen his heart! But that's soon the least of their problems. Ella Stinton reappears. She disappeared after dropping the bombshell that Boyd's her father. Boyd's never doubted Ella. She's his spitting image. But Ella's added a level of complexity to an already complicated relationship. Can Caleb accept Ella's presence in Boyd's life? Surprisingly, that's the least of either man's worries. Soon, the perfect storm of events hits, threatening everything. As Boyd flies to Oregon to get to know his daughter better, Ella reveals a secret that has the potential to destroy everything. And there's someone out there who'll do anything to be sure that secret never sees the light of day. Even with Boyd's support, Ella's secret comes out, and she's never been in more danger. As Boyd and Caleb prepare to move Ella to Florida, neither Boyd nor Caleb can possibly know what's in store. Can things get any worse? Oh, yes! Even from over 200 miles away, Caleb's homophobic family is still trying to destroy his life, with Boyd and Ella caught in the crossfire. With so many threats coming from every possible direction, how can any of this work? Will Boyd and Caleb's jobs ever let them live openly together? What about Ella? Can Caleb accept her as part of their family? And just who is willing to do what to keep Ella's secret from coming out? There's only one way any of this can work. Boyd and Caleb's love, belief, and trust in each other have to be rock solid for life. Ella has to trust that her father and Caleb both love and accept her, will protect her, but still allow her the autonomy she needs. Far less stress has broken far stronger relationships. The question is, do Boyd and Caleb have what it takes not just to love each other but to have the family both desperately want? It will take faith, belief, and trust the likes of which are seldom seen. Are any of them capable of that? Because, in the end, that's the only thing that will save all three!

From the second I finished Indifference of Heaven, I was on pins and needles waiting for Like the Seasons. It so worth the wait! Boyd and Caleb had already fought so many battles with so many obstacles still to come. You desperately want things to work out for these two. As roadblocks, danger, petty grievances, and hate are thrown in their paths, you get the sinking feeling that none of this can ever work. Just when you start to think, "Yes, finally," another crisis arises. Each has more potential than the last to completely ruin everything. As level-headed and calm as Boyd has always been, he's never had to cope with the things he now faces. Caleb? He's hidden his entire life, afraid of what others think. But is he more than even he realizes? And Ella? Self-sufficient, driven, she's always been confident, independent, not needing anyone. But is that even possible now? Boyd, Caleb, and Ella are so very different but soon learn they need each other like the air they breathe. This story isn't just riveting. As always, Ms. Dalton is unparalleled. Her intimate knowledge and understanding of BDSM, people, and their motivations is extraordinary. To give Like the Seasons anything less than five stars is impossible. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton, on yet another captivating story!

A final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you know you won't enjoy this genre, this book may not be for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author! She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

This book by Tymber Dalton is the continuation of Indifference of Heaven. Boyd and Calebs story. They are in love and finally moving forward in their relationship when Boyd has to go across the country to see his daughter Ella he only recently found out about. Caleb will come out the following weekend. While out there Ella gives him some surprising news. He and Caleb are thrilled about it, but someone else in the picture is not happy about it at all. Danger now heads into their lives.
I love how the author shows how the new couple deals with finding out about Ella, her surpise, and danger to her. We also get to see some of Caleb’s family. Who are not the nicest of people. A great quick read.

When Boyd and Caleb finally get together they know things are not going to be easy. They have to keep their relationship secret at work to protect their jobs. Boyd is just beginning a relationship with his daughter, Ella, whom he has just found out about. Life isn't easy but being together makes things worth it. When things get tough, Caleb is there for both Boyd and Ella, creating a family that they all want. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more about these two men as well as a book for Ella! This book is a direct sequel to Indifference of Heaven and is best enjoyed after reading it first although it can be read as a standalone.

We are now seeing more of Caleb and Boyd's story. There is a lot of family drama for both men. We get to see what an honorable Boys is as he steps up to the plate and makes peace with his past. One thing that really struck me was when I started reading Suncoast Society stories even the thought of two men getting to celebrate their wedding in Florida seemed so remote and in the far into the future. I love that it can now happen not only in these stories but for my cousin and his partner of over 40 years.

We return to Caleb and Boyd's story. Remember Boyd has a daughter he just found out about. No he is off to get to know her and bring her home to him and Caleb to be the family they all desire. But you know it can't always be easy. Not only does Boyd find his soul mate and his daughter he is going to get another surprise when she tells him he's going to be a grandpa!! All is just a few months. Talk about a wild ride.

Great continuation for Boyd and Caleb with Ella, wonder if this is the last from Caleb's parents. Will Lily get to meet "the gang" ?? They dont seem to be involved much with these guys, but with Kent coming into the picture that will probably shake things up.

What will happen next??

Wowza, the feels in this book really hit me. This book cannot be read as a standalone. It is best to read the prior book, Indifference of Heaven. Boyd and Caleb's budding romance is now maturing to something that maybe, just maybe Caleb can see as lasting forever. There are family matters that threaten this sweet relationship in ways that are hurtful and some that are hopeful.

This book is a continuation of Indifference of Heaven so if you haven't read that one yet don't start this one. Go back or you'll miss some of the backstory. I really enjoyed this one. Especially Caleb's joy at becoming Gramps at his age. 😂😂

Loved Caleb and Boyd!!

I love this story!! The religious bigotry is something I’m acquainted with and I love the way it was dealt with because I love that they were put in their place. I love that Ella came into the storyline .... she’s awesome!

Loved it

Would have been 5 stars but for the price. A novella should have a lower price or the two books should have been combined.
