I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

If you're fan of the movie Mean Girls and like to get together with your friends who are also fans, this cookbook would be an excellent additive to girl's night.

You'll get a look at some of Aaron Samuels' (aka Jonathan Bennett) favorite dishes, a recipe from his mom!, along with fun quizzes, facts, and trivia that will solidify your place as a true Mean Girls

Hysterical but not super practical. Ill probably never make any of the recipes. It was just fun to leaf through the pages and reminisce all of the glory that is Mean Girls. ...more

Today is one of those oh-so-rare days when I review a book that has ZERO romance in it, folks!  And believe you me, this one is totally worth looking at.  I can't really cook - I mean, I can, but I don't want to.  But this cookbook makes me want to pull on my apron (yes, I have one, and it's reversible) and get working in the kitchen.

The greatest part about this cookbook is that it has something for everyone.  Not much of a cook?  There are recipes in here for mixed drinks.  Don't want to cook

Normally I wouldn't count a cookbook toward my reading challenge goal but this one was so delightful and charming I read every word. It is a Mean Girls fan's dream, with constant puns and references to the movie as well as quizzes and other fun extras. There are also some behind-the-scenes did-you-know type facts, but not a ton, so if that is what you are looking for this isn't the book for it. You can tell Jonathan Bennett really loves Mean Girls and its fans, and there is a warm, friendly tone ...more

The best thing about this book is that it's fully packed with iconic quotes and references from the movie - from chapter titles to food names, cooking instructions to in-between extra info, you'll pretty much feel like you're living in the movie. Between chapters there are awesome quizzes and activities, between recipes there are little behind-the-scenes facts from filming, and between drooling over the foodie pics - and the Jonathan Bennett (Aaron Samuels) pics - you'll probably contemplate ...more

So the burn cookbook is an awesome concept. I loved nothing more than reading the recipes with some of the best lines from the movie. I also enjoyed seeing. Some familiar foods Im getting cheese fries...

The recipes in the book are mouth watering. Im looking forward to them, especially the drinks and party foods. However I was slightly disappointed in some of the choices. I had hoped that there would be a greater range of foods included for certain sections, and some foods like the pink pizza I

Okay so I was super pumped to hear a mean girls cook book was in the making. I love Aaron Samuels because I mean he looks sexy with his hair pushed back! And all the references to the movie and the behind the scenes facts were cool to read. Along with learning more about Aaron. But the recipes in themselves dont look good at all. The drink ones were the only ones where a couple looked okay. So book presentation? FLAWLESS! But actually recipes? Its a no for me. But Im still glad to have it ...more

The Burn Cookbook: An Unofficial Unauthorized Cookbook for Mean Girls Fans by Jonathan Bennett.
This was such a fun cookbook. It has everything in recipes that you didn't know you wanted. If you are a Mean Girls fan this book is for you. If you love to cook this book is for you and if you are like me the occasional cook... but a bigger cookbook collector than this book is for you too.
