Four Relentless Days by Elle James

4th Book in the Mission: Six SEAL series. Harmon feels an instant attraction to Talia, the resort owner where the team is vacationing. When the team realizes she is struggling to maintain her property because of threats from the local witch doctor and poachers, they immediately step in to help. It’s what they do.

I enjoyed the attraction and rescue of this story, but in the same vain as the previous books, this is an active duty SEAL and I worry for the future of

I love Elle James. No one does a short romantic-suspense novel better. Even though the plot was predictable, the romance was wonderful and the locale was amazing. She is one of my go-to authors for a short, well written escape.

Talia s the owner/operator of a safari operation in Kenya. She has been having a lot of problems since her husband died over a year ago. The local witchdoctor doesn't approve of a woman running a business alone and poachers are killing protected wildlife. She is having tro

Seal Team Six is spending their break at All Creatures Safari in Africa. Having been there previously, catching poachers on their last visit, they decide it's the perfect place to relax with the added benefit of seeing Talia again. Talia is the owner of All Creatures and the most beautiful woman Harm's ever met. While there, mysterious things happen at the Inn. Harm is plagued with nightmares, a spitting cobra is killed at the end of his teammates' bed, chickens are slaughtered, and Talia's work ...more

My favorite in the series so far! Continuing their African journey, the SEAL team we've gotten to know in the Mission: Six series finds yet another love interest on the horizon. Harm didn't think he believed in love until he found himself in her arms and caring about her more than he intended. The story is fast paced with a good bit of intrigue, and the characters are easy to like.

Resort owner Talia Montclair has been experiencing some strange happenings at the resort over the last few months, a

Harmon and the rest of the team from SEAL Team 6 are back at All Creatures Safari for some extended R&R after their last attempt was disrupted.

Harm doesn't do relationships and Talia is the owner of the resort where he is staying. He feels a pull towards her, unlike any other woman ever has, but she was widowed recently and he is not about to go lusting after her. But when attempts are made to sabotage the resort and then pot shots are taken at her, Harm and the boys (and their new partners

A great fast paced read about a SEAL member, Harm, who is on an African safari with his SEAL brothers and he meets the owner, Talia, who runs the resort all by herself after her husband died a year ago. There have been some incidents with poachers and a rumours of Talia having bad juju, leaving her with less staff because of the superstition of a woman can’t run a place on her own and she is cursed. When Harm and Talia have a “moment” together the two can’t get each other off of their minds, but ...more

I received a free advanced copy of this book from the publisher. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

The SEAL team is back in Kenya to continue their vacation at All Things Wild Safari and Resort that had been interrupted twice already, though these interruptions have brought some of the team to find their soul mates. However, there is no rest for the weary and Talia, the widow who owns the resort is being threaten by parties unknown, but scaring off both guests and staff. Trying to scare o

This is is a fast paced, thrilling and romantic story. Harm is charming, amusing, tough, determined and caring. Talia is stubborn, strong, independent and caring. While the SEAL team is at the lodge again, Harm realizes that there's something bothering Talia, something serious. Someone is targeting her, scaring away the guests and the workers and spreading stories of the bad juju to come to the very superstitious natives. Harm and the rest of the SEALs work to find out who is responsible, and st ...more

>Book Review – Four Relentless Days

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 4th in the Mission:Six series and ends in an HEA. Harm is spending a week of R&R with his team on a safari in Africa. The woman running the safari and lodgings, Talia, is a widow. Sparks fly between those 2 characters as Talia is threatened by weird happenings, causing Harm’s alpha tendencies to fly.

>The banter between the SEAL team is fun, but the romance between Harm and Talia starts way too fast f

I really enjoyed this read! We’ve gotten to know this group of SEALs quite well in the last few books. This one can be read as a stand-alone novel though it is connected to precious stories. We have met Talia in previous books set on Africa, though they are dealing with a different issue. Harm and his team are back to the resort for rest and relaxation. But strange things are occurring at the resort and while Harm and Talia are drawn to each other he decides that they will figure out what’s goin ...more

I read this as a stand alone. It is book 4 but I didn't feel lost at all. Harm has had his heart broken by a woman before and with his Seal brothers, has decided he won't ever pursue a serious relationship. Talia's husband died in an accident a year ago and she feels like she is being unfaithful by even having feelings for someone else. In the mean time, someone has it out for Talia and is trying to make her leave her wildlife sanctuary and will stop at nothing to make it happen.

I always enjoy Military, Law Enforcement etc books. Lately its the women that are speaking to me and Taila did as well. Her husband died, shes running the ranch alone, shes inspiring the women of Kenya to speak up and help fight against poachers and when Harmon comes into the picture, she doesnt wimp out. She thinks of the past, the future and goes for the romance. I appreciate the fact that she can look at the past and mourn her loss, but not get bogged completely down with guilt.
As always I e

Harm and his team of Seals are spending some time off in Talia’s resort, a widow who is struggling to overcome the loss of her husband but mostly she is trying to manage the hostility of the locals. He is very attracted to this beautiful and courageous woman but he just doesn’t want to begin a relationship. Unfortunately strange things are happening around the resort and the situation is slipping out of Talia’s hands. Can Harm help Talia? Will he surrender to this strong feeling that is transpir ...more

This is book 4 in the Mission: Six series and it features Harm and Talia. Usually you can pretty well guess the ending of most books before you get to the end but every now and then an author surprises you. While reading this story I really couldn’t figure out how it would end until the very end. She had her life in Africa and he was a Navy SEAL in the US. This is a well written story about a SEAL team on vacation. The romance between the confirmed bachelor and the widow was beautiful t

I really enjoyed this story by Elle James! It is the fourth book in her Mission: Six series and definitely worth reading.
While Harmon Payne and his team are on vacation in Africa staying at a safari resort ran and owned by Talia Montclair things soon turn dangerous when strange and threatening incidents target Talia and her employees.
Harm may have not been looking for love, but he found it with Talia and when she disappears Harm and his team take on the mission of finding her and taking down t

Four Relentless Days is a steamy, action packed read with danger, mystery, suspense, and a cast of great characters. A team of hot SEALS staying at a safari resort comes at just the right time for resort owner Talia. Confirmed bachelor Harm and widowed Talia are instantly attracted to each other and Harm and his team go out of their way to help her out. One scene in the book totally broke my heart and this book reminds us of the importance of animal conservation. An enjoyable read with a HEA.

I am so loving this whole SEAL team. Harm is the confirmed bachelor. After getting a dear John letter, he was so done with the fairy tale of love. Then he met Talia. Talia is a widow that runs a safari resort and the guys are there to unwind. When trouble starts, they are there to help Talia. Harm is falling hard for the widow, but how can they have a relationship when he is stationed in Virginia and she has the resort on another continent. He may leave the team to be with her.

A fast paced read full of action. I liked Harm and Talia. Their relationship was sweet and sexy. I also enjoyed the other members of the Team.

Included in the tale was a mystery surrounding Talia's safari camp. You get supense, intrigue, and action. The culprit behind the mysterious circumstances was pretty obvious and easy to spot early on.

Overall this was an entertaining fast read. A definite 3.5 stars.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from the author.

This was the first book in this series that I have read. I was missing one back ground on some of the characters, but it was a very enjoyable book . I really enjoyed the story. I didn't have any trouble making a connection with any of the characters. Will definitely have to read the rest of the series.
