Hall's debut non-fiction book is a collection of encouraging, short little devotionals. Each one includes a topic bible verse, a couple paragraph long encouragement, a quote, and a short prayer. Hall writes with a personal tone that makes you feel like you are having a conversation over coffee. Speaking of which, all the coffee imagery is so much fun for a coffee lover! Not to mention that adorable cover!

All in all, if you are looking for a short and to-the-point daily devotional, definitely ch

My Review:

Genre: Non-fiction, devotional.

My Rating: 5 Stars.

Recommendation: Every girl who does or doesn't need a devotional!

My thoughts: I requested this from NetGalley AND got it for my birthday! Well, anyway I haven't read all of the devos yet, but I had to share my review! This is the best devotional I've found/read before and perfect for any girl (Even if she doesn't like coffee like me!) They are short devos, that makes me think about the lesson, and I didn't forget it right after I read i

This was such a sweet and encouraging little book! I really loved how it was divided up into sections, depending on what you were looking for. It's getting harder and harder to find honest, up-front devotionals for teen girls, but this one certainly fit the bill. We need more like this in Christian literature. I absolutely enjoyed it, and would love to read more by Ms. Hall.

Coffee Shop Devos is such an encouraging devotional collection!

I love the way Tessa uses coffee to connect with her audience. When I was a teen, we had several Bible studies at our local coffee shop and it was always the highlight of my week; coffee and Jesus just go together!

In this devo, girls can be encouraged by scripture as well as some of Tessa's own personal stories. They will be able to relate to things such as how to honor their parents, how to push through some troubling circumstances,

This is a go-to devotional guide for teen girls! If you know or are a teen girl who desires to pursue and grow in your relationship with Jesus and develop a greater thirst for God's Word, then let this devotional stir you on to greater time in the Word!

This was a great devotional for teen girls! Tessa is very down to earth, and I really enjoyed her writing style and seeing a glimpse into her life and her struggles. She was very relatable and encouraging in my own struggles!

* I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. *

Can I just say that the setup of this book is really unique? Each set of devotionals is organized by different types of coffee—frappes, lattes, americanos, etc. As this setup might suggest, the book is very conversational. Each devotional is fairly short, so it’s nothing too daunting to sit down and read one every morning. I’d definitely recommend this to any teen girls looking for a frie

I’m extremely picky when it comes to devotionals, but “Coffee Shop Devos” by Tessa Emily Hall is one I would highly recommend for teenage girls. What makes this devotional stand out from others is that the author breaks her chapters into topics and is designed for the reader to start in a topic of where they’re at in that particular moment.

Each chapter or section is set up as a menu as if you were going into a physical coffee shop. The author even includes recipes that sound delicious. If you’re

Coffee Shop Devos by Tessa Emily Hall

Discover your God-given purpose

The synopsis of the book calls it “a warm atmosphere” and I have to agree with that. The style of each entry is friendly and down-to-earth. Each devotion has the following sections:

Scripture to sip on
Let’s chat about it
Let’s think about it
Let’s pray about it
Today’s dare
A shot of inspiration
Join the convo

Each reading has a single Bible verse and then encouragement related to that verse and challenges to help deepen your relations

**I received a free copy of Coffee Shop Devos from the publisher in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. **

Over the years I was subject to many girls’ devotionals that never seemed to teach anything. They talked down to me, as if I was immature and only interested in boys and makeup (which I wasn’t). I longed for something more, for someone to take me seriously and to TEACH me.

When Tessa announced her Coffee Shop Devos, I was thrilled. If it was anything like her other w

I really enjoyed this devotional. Each day shares a "Scripture to sip on" and then "Let's Chat about It", "Let's Think about It", "Let's Pray about it", "Today's Dare" and "A Shot of Inspiration". The very last thing is to Join the convo! by posing a question that you can post on social media and hashtagging #CoffeeShopDevos!

I really felt this was a very well thought out Devotional for Teen Girls. First they don't have a lot of time because they are running from one activity to the next, doing h

Excellent daily devotional! Tessa writes in a clear and engaging way, and I definitely think that Coffee Shop Devos can help draw teen girls closer to God. Each devotional includes a couple of things like: Bible verses, quotes, encouragement, and more. Plus, you get coffee recipes- I really love that Tessa includes these- I think it would be so much fun to get together with a group of girls, make some coffee, and read this book! Overall, a well-written and encouraging devotional that I t

To begin with, a caveat about me: I tend not to enjoy devotionals. When I was a teenager, I was often frustrated with devotional books for my age group because they either (1) talked down to me and assumed a more immature faith than I had, or (2) assumed I was, like many girls my age, interested in boys and clothes and makeup (which I wasn't). I chose to read this book because I enjoy Tessa's writing and guessed (rightly) that her perspective would be one that teenage me would have related to.

I love this little daily shot of espresso!

I picked this book as the current read for my teen girl's small group. I love that each devo is short and sweet yet offers a couple questions that get you thinking a bit deeper. It makes it a great book for my girls who are just learning/trying to make daily time in God's Word a habit.

I also think its cool that it ends with an interactive point for the girls to take to their social media and continue the conversation. We have used this on our group's fa

I'm finding it really hard to review this devotional, because I am so not the target audience. When I first requested the ARC from Netgalley, the book didn't have its full title yet, so I just saw "Coffee Shop Devos"... and nothing about it being for teens. Not the fault of the book at all, but I had to readjust my expectations somewhat.

That being said, I still felt like I got a lot out of the devotional. Granted, there were some I skipped, because they simply weren't relevant to me at this poin

Our family enjoyed this devotional a lot. (My teenagers -loved- the coffee recipes. ❤️)
First of all, you can’t tell by the picture, but this book is big. There are 10 sections with a theme (and themed recipe) for each. Each section has around 18 days of devotions, so this would be a great treat to start for the school year for homeschool parents or before school devotions for mothers of girls.

I personally found the messages applicable to all ages & I enjoyed reading them with my girls. The sto
