He was the man of my dreams, or so I thought. I wasn't sure how I'd react when I saw him again. I planned on avoiding him, but our small hometown made that impossible. The years apart melted away when I saw him. Time hadn't changed my feelings, after all. Jealousy flared anew. My heart, which I thought had healed, was back to being in a million pieces.

Now I'm ri

So, the majority of reviews for this book are really high. And my personal review of this book is not as gushing. The biggest issue I had with this book was Blair. Not just about Blair's character but how the book itself was more about her than the actual couple. Blair is the women that the heroine thought the hero cheated on her with. That's not the issue, the issue is if Blair had bad dreams or gets scared the hero runs to her. And, towards the end of the book when Blair has any crying scenes ...more

The hero has strong emotional connection with another woman. Not the heroine. He didn’t even go after her to try to explain the fucked up situation of him bathing a naked woman. For 4 years I guess. Because his priority was the well being of this ow who was also his step brother ‘s fiancé. I don’t even care what tragic thing happened to this ow. Go find her help in a health/mental institution or with a qualified professional. Reviews said the heroine (supp

Michelle Dare is a master at pulling the reader into the story from the first page. In Where I Am she rips out the heart of the heroine, as well as the hero, in the first chapter and then masterfully pieces their shattered lives back together again.
Essentially this story is one of undying love, miscommunication, and the meaning of true friendship. Parker may not be the perfect boyfriend but he proves himself, on more than one occasion, to be the truest of friends. He showed that side in Cy and

In this riveting and emotional romantic suspense, Michelle Dare sent me on a soaring adventure full of laughter, chills, tears, and an all around thrilling roller coaster ride. I didn't expect the onslaught of emotions to overcome me the way they did, but I was extremely pleased by all the warm fuzzies and the intense suspense I felt throughout. Though this is the second book in a series, it can easily be read as a stand alone. If you're seeking an escape from the mundane, pick up Where I Am by ...more

Once I started reading Parker & Astoria’s Story I couldn’t stop. Their story will have you going on an emotional rollercoaster, that you won’t want to get from. Parker & Tora knew they would be together forever but one misunderstanding tore them apart. Now that Astoria is home from college she knew she would probably see Parker and as soon as they see each other there is no denying their connection is still there. Parker wants Astoria and will do anything to have her in his life again. I really ...more

I’ve had so many emotions run through me in the 2 days. Anger, hope, sadness, joy, love to name but a few. This book will change you as did the first book Where I End, such great books that will get you thinking about life. I highly recommend both these books.

This book. I don’t know what it is about Michelle Dare’s writing but it is one of the most beautiful and flawless stories you will ever read. Where I End last year blew my mind, but then you had Where I Am and I am lost for words. This tale of second chance romance breaks you, twists you up but ends up mending you by the time it is all over. Then you add the amazing twists of mystery into it, and you have this story that will leave you breathless and begging for more!

I have long been a fan of Michelle Dare after I discovered her about a couple of years ago, and Where I Am is exactly why I love her so much!
For those of us who have read Where I End, we were introduced to Parker who was Cy’s best friend. I always knew Parker had a story to tell, but I had no idea how important it was. He has a reputation of loving women, and he does have a revolving door of them, but he never makes them promises. His heart was broken years ago, and he never got over it. When hi

For me, this book was love at first read. From the moment my eyes touched the page I fell in love with Parker and Astoria. Michelle Dare created a depth of emotion that swept me away with each new chapter that I read.

Where I Am is a riveting tale filled with suspense and family drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Not once on this journey did I become bored with this storyline, Dare has this way of painting the picture as though she were an artist stroking a can

Where I Am by Michelle Dare was a completely emotional read for me. It was great from beginning to end. I have read other books by this author and had no worries about if I’d enjoy this book or not.

The characters....I loved Parker Maxfield and Astoria Livingston. They are both incredibly strong minded and go after what they want regardless of what happens.

Astoria and Parker meg and fell Inlove so quickly. They spent all of their free time together and then one day Astoria was going to Parker’s

This book for me I loved as soon as I started reading it I loved Parker and Astoria and the author created lots of emotions that kept me guessing what I should be feeling next with each page.

Where I Am is a story that has both family drama and suspense that will keep you turning the page till you’ve finished the book.

Parker is a hero and you can’t help but fall in love with him from the beginning. When he was younger he never got the chance

When you read one of Michelle Dare’s books especially one of her more emotional ones like Where I Am be prepared to be put through some emotions. It always takes me so much longer to read one of her books than it actually should because there is always a point that I have to stop and just step back for a bit because my emotions have overtaken me. Either because Michelle is that well at writing them or because I have went through something similar or someone I knew has went through something simi ...more

Well this book was a roller coaster ride of emotions. This is a great second chance at love story, and yet it is so much more than that.
Astoria and Parker were so very much in love, until Astoria finds him with his brothers fiancé Blair.
Four years pass, and Astoria is back in town after the end of college. What she thought happened between Parker and Blair couldn't be further from the truth. This is where the story to me turns so very hear

Each time I read one of this author's books I think she can not get any better but she shows it to be a yes but then it is also different every time too. Not stale but fresh whenever you enter in with the characters pulling you by the hand like in this one with Parker and then Astoria. If ever you meet a Parker hold onto him tight because he is a keeper as the saying goes. The story gets you attached right away with you in his corner wanting to pin her down. The other characters are just as impo ...more

Michelle Dare has a way of grabbing the hearts of her readers from the first page and holding on to it until the last. This book was full of so many emotions: hurt, anger, hope, joy, fear, name it, it was probably in there somewhere.

Parker and Tora’s story is a love story that has a little of everything, but most of all it’s a story of true, honest, unfaltering love. I couldn’t wait for Parker’s story after getting to know him in Where I End, I was not prepared to fall so quick for Astoria and start the book hating Parker! But, true to her style that was just Ms. Dare’s way of throwing you curves to keep you guessing and furiously turning the pages. And, man did i devour this one. Not only did we get to dive deep into both ...more
