Bianca Forrester may be a mind-reading alien from Alpha-Prime, but she’s an Arkansas girl at heart who leaps at the chance to work as a psychic in Nocturne Falls. The Halloween-themed Georgia town is the perfect cover for werewolves, gargoyles and, lately, aliens looking to stay under the human radar. The Dragon’s Spellbound Alien by Fiona Roarke

A novella from the Kindle world of Nocturne Falls. A town that celebrates Halloween everyday so that the paranormal residents can live openly.

A cute story. The power of love at first sight.
The heroine is described as having a love of weapons, but never uses any in the story. The couple goes to his house to view his weapons collection but there was no discussion about the event. I thought it was leading to something but apparently not.
Anyway, the cou

This is a cute story, with great characters. I enjoyed this fast- paced story and look forward to reading more from this author.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher, my review has been voluntarily submitted.

Not for me

I've read and really enjoyed all the noctern books and have to say this was dire. And I really wish I hadn't bothered..

This is a great book; this book is part of the Nocturne Falls Universe and is written by Fiona Roarke. The Nocturne Falls series is written by Kristen Painter and I was so happy that these new books by new authors were asked to write a story in the town. Nocturne Falls is a town that celebrates Halloween every day of the year and also a place that paranormal’s can live and not have to hide what they really are. Bianca Forrester may be a mind-reading alien from Alpha-Prime, but she’s an Arkansas ...more

This is really poorly written. The speech is stilted and unnatural, and the sentences are structured awkwardly. The actual plot is nonsensical, and the characters are unlikable. For example, the psychic aliens are encouraged to just lie if they can't read someone, and this is the boss-approved response, and one which is accepted by other characters. That makes them thieves and con artists - why not just tell the truth and offer a refund? The other supernaturals - the ones who cannot be read - kn ...more

Fiona's latest foray into Nocturne Falls was refreshing and fun. Our first Alien/Supernatural pairing was made and I can't be more excited about the story. We catch up with Aliens from the previous stories and I highly recommend reading all 3 of the Alien books for Nocturne Falls by Fiona prior to reading this book; however, knowing the characters and the events of the previous books aren't exactly necessary to enjoy this book. The characters were well thought out, and their backstories were fle ...more

That’s the first word came to mind in describing this book. Love at the first sight, like lightning strike. Very fun to read, simple story actually, but very enjoyable. Some aspects on the characters were not developed enough. I thought these aspects were just an addition, maybe hopefully filled the characters more, yet as it wasn’t developed well enough it felt like an afterthought addition. Not disturbing though, but I think it would be great if these aspects could be developed more.

Warrwick is a dragon shifter and his adopted mother wants grandkids so she sets him up with the Alien dating service recently opened. Bianca is an Alien living in Nocturne Falls and one of the ladies with the matchmaking service. A “chance” meeting with Warrwick results in instant chemistry.

I normally love Fiona’s Nocturne Falls Aliens but this book just didn’t quiet hit the mark for me. It felt too forced, too rushed and just not the usual I expect from her. Bianca and Warrwick do make a cute c

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are hones
Nocturne Falls is the home for many supernatural.
They are able to hide in plain sight.
Bianca can use her powers openly in Nocturne Falls.
Warrick found acceptance in Nocturne Falls.
When these 2 meets, sparks fly.
I loved the storytelling + the characters
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!

I am usually a fan of Fiona Roarke's books. However, this one did not make the cut. It started out feeling rushed and ended up the same way. I just wasn't excited about the story and there were several under developed characters. The only good thing about the book is that the main characters made a cute couple, but while saying that, their relationship was also rushed and seemingly uncharacteristic for anyone.

I loved Bianca and Warrick as a couple! It was love at first sight for them. I also really like Warrick brother Victor and his mom Vilma. I wonder if Victor will get a book next or maybe the newly discovered sister introduced at the end of the book! We know nothing more than her name, would love to learn more!

Great reading

Sometimes love does happen at first sight. Secrets can cause a lot of business so always tell the truth. Bad guys lose out a lot.

I was highly anticipating this book as I am a big fan of this author, her spin on Nocturne Falls and her Alpha-Prime aliens from Alienn, Arkansas series. I especially love how she managed to interweave two series so seamlesly that they make perfect sense.
This is already her fifth story in Nocturne Falls following the three rescue stories Close Encounters Of The Alien Kind, Invasion of the Alien Snatchers and The Alien Who Fell To Earth in which we meet Bubba and Astrid who are the starting poin
