One accident. One man. One dance.

She'd never noticed Levi Grant. Not really. Everyone knew about him, though. Everyone remembered the accident, the tragedy. It was hard to forget. Especially since he had no arm.

She only said yes because of her soft-heart-syndrome. He'd never asked anyone to the dance. Never even had a girlfriend. How could she say no?

But as she's thrust

This book left my heart in ruins, y'all. I stayed up too late, and then went to bed with stars in my eyes and an aching in my chest. I couldn't even consider reading anything else for days. It's that good. <3

I literally have no words to describe how darling this novella is. But, because most people prefer for reviews to have words instead of video footage of me flapping my hands and squealing over Levi... I'll attempt to be coherent.

Over the last few weeks, I've been trying to find some good,

This little novella is SO sweet!!!! Oh my goodness ... the total and complete "countryness" of it all is right up my alley and so absolutely adorable. And an amputee for a main character? Um...YASSSS!!! Such a great guy. Something I didn't like so much about this book is that there are a few parts that could come across as racist, though I am positive the author did not intend for them to be taken that way. There were a few little editorial mistakes here and there, but not enough to be distracti ...more

Ok, this book is adorable. The characters, the setting, and the meaning behind it all is just beautiful. I love books that have meaning to them, and this one definitely delivered in that area.

I was immediately drawn into this story. Getting to see what Levi went through and how he turned it into good made this story special. This book had a great message to it and also had the cute, contemporary feel which I loved. There were definitely times when I laughed out loud.

The romance in this book wa

This is the first book that I've read by Willowy Whisper, and it was so, so sweet!

~wonderfuls~

the romance

Claire and Levi were the sweetest! There's not a lot of clean, Christian, contemporary romance out there (especially none like this), so I really liked it.

the Christian themes

There were several prayers throughout, but one scene towards the end really stood out to me. It was so amazing and inspiring.

I read this all in one sitting!! I couldn't put it down! I loved the relationship between Claire and Levi, wondering if they will ever find out the truth! And the plot-riveting! Excellent!

But as she’s thrust into a whirlwind of misunderstandings and danger . . . the whole world seems to change. Will her heart change with it?

WOW! Oh my word. How do I gather my thoughts?
This book...it was powerful. Willowy does not write fluff. She writes what is real and deep and GOOD. This story - there was so much in it. There was so much character development. There was so much tangibility. Willowy's writing reaches out and grasps you. It is raw.

I loved it. I loved the scary scenes (which I totally did not expect from starting it!) and the sweet scenes. I loved their relationship. I loved Claire and Levi. Those are characters yo

This was a really sweet story! I perfectly understood Claire's feelings at the beginning--the awkwardness and uncertainty mixed with guilt and embarrassment for the awkwardness and uncertainty--yeah, I can definitely relate to that. But I loved the fact that even though her feelings toward Levi started with pity and soft-heartedness, by the end of the book, she not only loved him in spite of his disability, she loved him for it--for who it had made him and who he was as a whole person, including ...more

I wish this book was longer.
I mean, seriously, people. Willowy Whisper is GOOD. This is only the second book of hers that I've read, but I promise you it was absolutely amazing. MEET MY BOYFRIEND is definitely not a normal story... About a kind-hearted girl who agreed to attending a dance with a guy who only had one arm... only because she pitied him? Only to have her realize that this guy has a heart of gold and doesn't need her pity?
Yeah, okay, please sign me up immediately.

This was such a cute story!!! The pacing and character development were very well done for such a short book. I felt like I could relate to Claire and Levi was perfect. ^.^ I found Payton annoying and a little stereotypical, but that was basically her purpose xP

Really, despite some minor complaints (see below), I liked this book because it had that fresh summer read feel with good Christian themes. And it made me feel (not always happy feelings tho O.O). The romance was fluffy and adora

First of all, this cover guys: It's perfect and I love it!!!

To be honest, short stories are not my favorite, but I always find books about characters with disabilities interesting. I don't come across them often and it's a nice change. It really adds something special to the story!

This book was short and sweet with a little danger and suspense thrown in. If you're looking for a clean Christian romance less than 100 pages (and can look over all the typos), then Meet My Boyfriend is th

This was so cute!!!!! I want, no need, more!! I LOVED this book so much!!!! I am definitely going to be reading more of Willowy's books!!!

This was so good, it almost lost the contemporary feel. I wouldn't have requested to read this in exchange for review, but for the author. I trusted her, and I wasn't let down.

I wasn't sure how fast-paced or boring this plot would be. What I often see with contemporary books is a lot more details than I see with historical fiction. I don't blame anyone for that, since it's much easier to know what little things occur in a contemporary life. However, it can get a little boring. This was not the c

This book is Christian and RACIST.

"..., but the man in the alley HAD sounded black".
"... trapped under the black man"
"'Oops! Sorry, chick!' The black man eased around her quickly".

Tell me exactly WHY was necessary to write those phrases like that? The color of the characters was not important to the story!

There were two bad guys on the book. And the white guy is a not so bad as the black guy. ""I never done nothing like that before", says the white guy, while the black guy just wants to kill t
