The Chase is on. The Phrases of Unbinding have been tortured out of all their Keepers, and now the Ex-Assassin and his unlikely cohorts must chase down the renegade mage. Meanwhile, elder things stir feebly, but dangerously. The characters are deep, complex and edgy and the interplay alone can keep you reading the story. Again-- this is NOT a Coming of Age Fantasy. All the characters are adults, with adult vicissitudes and motives. It's all Politics and Vendetta. Unfortunately, at the end of this story-- you will never see the rest. Volume Three Never happened.
