This was a cute story but between the spelling errors and then having someone speak who wasn't even there (and I'm not talking about a ghost), I'm not interested in reading anything else by this author. I think I got this in a story bundle and I didn't realize it was self-published. I normally steer clear of self-pubbed because they're often not as tight as I like and this one could have used more beta readers. Also, I normally don't figure out who the bad guy is in mysteries but I figured this one out in the first half. The final big scene fell flat for me too. I created a shelf of "do not read again" for this book. It could have been so much better.

A strong 3-1/2 stars. Such a cute read, and I adored the author's voice! Ghosts are my thing. Glad to see a book along the lines of Darynda Jones's "Grave" series with its combination of snark and supernatural. The ending could have been tighter, even for a series. It's like there should have been another chapter, but when I turned the page, whoopsie! book's done!

Looking forward to seeing how this series develops.
