Heartwarming romance.
When you are a romance junkie it’s hard not to fall for the sweet romance stories that come out this time of year. This one was a perfect read to kick off the holiday season.

My first story by Joanne Ross is a look at life in small-town USA where high school sweethearts never truly got over each other. You can get lost in the descriptions of this beautiful town in small-town atmosphere.

Getting ready for the holidays in Honeymoon Harbor brings back memories

Does anyone else love holiday movies like the ones on the Hallmark Channel? If so, this book totally reminded me of one and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out it will eventually be a made for TV movie. And while it definitely features holiday magic it’s not necessarily a Christmas book, in fact it covers the month of November as well as December making it the perfect read for now.
This is the second in a series but I did not read the first book and had no issues starting here. It’s set in

I am a romantic at heart. I love a happy ending and a really good romance. Having it be set during the holidays just sweetens the deal for me.

JoAnn Ross is a new writer to me but it looks like she has written a number of romance series. This isn’t a book that I would normally pick up but I loved that it was set in the Pacific Northwest on the coast. I think the PacNW offers a unique setting for romances—-its a rugged, stormy, unpredictable, and unforgiving coastline so I thought that the setting

Who’s a sucker for small town romance? THIS GIRL!! If you are as well, then Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is just the book for you. Throw in the Christmas season and you’ve got yourself a holiday romance that can compete with anything the Hallmark Channel is offering.

Also, like me, if you’re a sucker for a second-chance-romance, this will make it all the more perfect! In all sincerity, I just really loved the way Jolene and Aiden circled and reconnected with each other. Sweet, needed, and exactly

Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is the second book in the Honeymoon Harbor series by JoAnn Ross, although it is my first book from the author. Although there are clear references to the characters in book one, it is not necessary to understand their story to enjoy Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane. That being said, I am now interested in giving Herons Landing a read to find out more.

If I’m being completely honest, Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane wasn’t quite a full four-star rating. It was, however, close eno

Loved this story, as I do all of Joann Ross’s books. I like her grownups.

This book needed to be shorter. It seemed to have trouble deciding if it wanted to be a mystery or a romance novel. Jolene had gone to LA and became a makeup artist after being nominated for an emmy she decides to open her own makeup selling business. She had been able to help her mother out by buying her a house and goes back to see her after she finds out her mother has a lump in her breast. Her first love,Aiden is there and is the new chief of police. Their trials between her mother and his p ...more

First book in a new series and my niece will approve. This was a sweet book, much going on in a beautiful setting and the characters made you believe it all.

I Love Christmas books! There is just something about a romance happening at that special time of year that I just can't get enough of. Joann Ross' Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is a great Christmas story.

Jolene Wells is the poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks that has turned her life of rags to riches. She is a well known Hollywood makeup and hair expert. She's worked with the biggest stars and is well liked. This lady is smart, independent, she works hard, and she loves her Mom. She is

Aiden and Jolene were sweethearts in high school but life took them in different directions. Him to the military and then to LA as a cop, and her to Hollywood. Ironic they ended up living near each other, but they don’t get a chance to reunite until they both return home to Honeymoon Harbor. The town's juvenile delinquent from a founding family is now the police chief, and the girl from the wrong side of the tracks has made a name for herself as an Emmy-nominated makeup artist.

I really enjoyed this one, and liked both Jolene and Aiden, as well as the whole host of secondary characters. Yes, there are a lot of things going on including, but definitely not limited to, olene's mother's potential cancer, Aiden's seeing his dead partner's ghost, Amanda (a local) resident dealing with abuse, Jolene's mother's potential romance with Aiden's uncle, to name just a few. But all of that (and more) somehow made it feel more real (well, except for the ghost). Life is often complic ...more

Aiden Madden, ex LA cop, has gone back to his hometown, Honeymoon Harbor, after a shooting that results in him being shot and his partner killed. His partner has come back to haunt him. Jolene is a successful Hollywood make up artist. She returns to town when her Mother has a health scare. Aiden and Jolene were a couple for awhile in high school.

I was surprised this book had a ghost, not my favorite genre. Not what I would expect from a Ross book. For me the book dragged in parts. This is a seco

Apparently I am in the minority and surprised at all the high ratings. The PB version has so many errors it was impossible to overlook. I also found the author just threw the token lesbian into the story for no reason other than to be PC...just annoys the hell out of me. Why now days is it that if you write a book you must cover all bases rather than just write what comes naturally. It is so forced and takes away from the story. Just not my thing....moving on.

FirstLine ~ Life, as Aiden Mannion knew firsthand, could be dangerous.

I know this book is set around the holidays, but is really good for anytime. I just finished it and adored it! I loved the story line, it was beautiful, heartbreaking and one I will not forget anything soon. It was beautifully fleshed out, in a setting that will make you swoon with characters you want to read about...sounds amazing right?!?! It really is completely charming and delightful. This is a modern day romance featuring Jolene Wells and Aiden Mannion as the main characters. Both have recently returned to Honeymoon Harbor and both are determined not to see the other. They have a past from high school which didn't end well. The story is set around the Christmas holidays. The book was a very quick easy read.

Not really sure how to feel about this book. It ended with me feeling like major plot points (Bodhi, cancer, etc) were never really resolved. Aiden and Jolene were cute but it all felt a bit superficial and easy considering their long history. Bodhi was the best part of the book hands down
Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is book two in the Honeymoon Harbor series. Jolene was the character from the previous book I was most looking forward to learning more about. I enjoyed the small-town setting and the romance. The book had a paranormal element I wasn’t expecting that seemed out of place given this is a contemporary romance. Still, I can't deny I enjoyed those parts, so I guess I can't complain too much. I did struggle a bit with the pacing. Parts seemed to drag on. Overall I liked the ...more
3.5 stars. Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is #2 in JoAnn Ross' Honeymoon Harbor series. This time its another delectable Mannion brother and the woman he's loved since forever, but somehow they never quite worked it all out when they were young.

Now they are older and wiser and for varying reasons find themselves back in Honeymoon Harbor.  Aidan with a bit of arm twisting from his father takes on the role of police chief to fill in a gap. And he has to be the ideal man for the job for any small town

DNF= It just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm sorry, I will not be posting a review online for this title. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past 12% of the book. It felt like a very rough 1st draft, so I couldn't read another word. I wanted to stop at 2%, but I was trying to be fair.

After yesterday’s book of sad I really felt the need for a happy-ever-after pick-me-up, and Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane delivered.

That I had two books in a row with “lighthouse” in the title but that they are complete opposites has turned out to be a good thing.

Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is the second book in the author’s Honeymoon Harbor series. I haven’t read the first book (I haven’t read this author before) but I didn’t feel lost or left out. Honeymoon

"Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane" follows Aiden and Jolene. Their high school romance crashed and burned after Aiden stole a beer and was given an ultimatum by the judge- join the military when he turns 18 or go to juvie. There is also some event that they are both embarrassed by which we learn about later. Now, they are both adults.

Aiden was a marine for a while before becoming a police officer in LA. After a terrible shoot-out where his partner was killed and he was wounded, he turned to drink. R

Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is book #2 in the Honeymoon Harbor series, but can easily be read as a standalone.

I spent the majority of my time reading this book propped up on the couch in front of the Christmas tree, with a wretched cold. As such, it took me a while to get through reading it but it was so worth it!

What a way to kick off the holiday small town romance season!

Aiden has tried to outrun his past from Honeymoon Harbor when he joined the marines. Even after he got out, he stayed out of the pacific northwest and joined up with the Los Angeles Police Department. But when he and his partner get ambushed, Aiden gets shook when his partner is killed. After quitting the force, Aiden returns to the pacific northwest to become a hermit and live out his days; unfortunately, his partner follows him as a

Hallucinating is comforting, but he better not tell anyone.

Bodhi sounds like a character. He was lucky to have him as a partner and friend.

Oh, his dad is good.

Good for her. She's not giving up. Her business is a great idea.

Poor Charlene.

That's a good memory she has with her mom.

James is going to end up on the other side of a domestic abuse call one day.

Another Honeymoon Harbor story that brings us back to the Olympic peninsula town that is slowly transforming itself into a destination resort and vacation setting. Jolene Wells grew up there, but left as soon as she could after high school graduation, ending up in LA as a hair and make-up artist for movie and TV productions. Then her apartment burns down shortly after her boyfriend has taken off with a co-star. As if that wasn't bad enough, Jolene is propelled home when she learns that her mothe ...more

Magical, romantic, and completely heartwarming, SNOWFALL ON LIGHTHOUSE LANE by JoAnn Ross is a wonderful Christmas romance story that is sure to put you in the festive spirit.

Jolene Harper has worked very hard to make it in an industry that is rife with creeps who try to take advantage. But when her apartment burns down and her mom gets a health scare, a holiday break in her hometown of Honeymoon Harbor is just exactly what she needs to plan the next step in her career and look after the woman w

In JoAnn Ross's Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane, the 2nd installment in the Honeymoon Harbor contemporary romance, 'tis the season to be jolly and home for the holidays. For Jolene Wells, she had lived on the wrong sided of the tracks and had fallen for Aidan Mannion, one of the sons of the richest families in Honeymoon Harbor, a small town outside of Seattle. Snowfall on Lighthouse Lane is the second book in the Honeymoon Harbor series. However; this can be read as a standalone. I did not previously read the first book, and had no issues jumping into the story.

I am not really sure why, but this was a slow start for me. I picked this up and put it down several times before actually jumping in. I think I read over the first chapter three different times. I liked the beginning, but I was not loving it. I liked enough to want to read more and I am happy
