I love the beautiful illustrations and rhyme. The weather is highlighted for the days of the week and the seasons are highlighted using a child's fascinations with shadows. Children are always interested in shadows therefore featuring this in a rhyme is a lovely idea! The months of the year are reinforced via gardening which is theme that is always welcome in the classroom.

The illustrations remind me of the Snowman child movie, has that old feel to it. Helps children with the days in the week, seasons in a year and so on.
