The little bear has no friends his size until he makes a snow bear. They do everything together all winter long. Then he goes away when spring come and little bear learns about remembering the good times he had with the snow bear.

This is an okay read; in a way it reminds me of Frosty the Snowman. The little bear is lonely so one winter he makes a snow bear and they become friends. Then when it starts to warm up the snow bear must go, but he tells the little bear to hang on to the memories they made so that he would not be lonely. This would be good to teach younger children about memories and remembering things in their lives.

This story is a take on Frosty the Snowman. The little bear is lonely and makes a snow bear friend in the winter, the pair have a lot of fun until winter is almost over and snow bear tells little bear that he will have to go away and come back next winter. Little bear misses snow bear but learns the importance/meaning of "remembering" in order to cope with the sense of loss of not having snow bear around. A great story for "making connections" with students.

I use to read this book all the time when I was younger and I loved it. This book is about a little bear making their first friend, a snow bear. The snow bear teaches the little bear that they are not alone but that they have many friends and they will always have these friends. This is a great book to read to children. It is about friendship and teaches children that they can find friends everywhere.

This was an alright book about a little snow bear who makes a friend out of snow. It reminded me a lot of Frosty the Snowman. It is a good book about friendship and imparting the message that those who you love are always with you even if they are not physically present. I did feel like this book seemed to be a little on the long side and I lost interest in it. I would not choose this book as a read aloud book, but I would add it to my classroom library if I found it for a good deal.

This was an okay book. The illustrations were detailed, but the story-line was not so great. I wish that it would have given more description of how the little bear made friends during the seasons that were not winter so that he was alone all of that time. With that being said, I think a lot of children would enjoy this book because they enjoy making snowmen and could relate.

This book is okay, it is pretty long so it would not be a quick read aloud for your students. It reminds me of the story of Frosty the Snowman, somewhat. A little bear that was not given a name is lonely and creates a bear that looks just like him out of snow. They become friends but soon winter comes to an end and the little snow bear must say his goodbye.

This book is about memories. Making them and how precious they are to hold onto. I don't think I'd read it aloud to the students. I believe it was a little too long and resembled frosty the snowman. I would keep it in my class library and recommend it to certain children who need it or would enjoy it.

This book is about a boy who makes a snowmen to be his friend during the winter. During all the other seasons he has to remember all the great memories that he had with the snowmen so that he is not lonely. The story line is more directed towards younger grades but i do not think they would understand the concept of memory.

I wasn't overly impressed with this book. The illustrations were cute, but the story lacked...something. It just wasnt' very entertaining and it was too long for the audience it's trying to reach. Our girls enjoyed the pictures, but otherwise it just fell flat.

This story provides great connections for children and those who have had to let a friend go for many reasons. I thought the illustrations portrayed a delightful story, filled with great text about a polar bear who makes a friend out of snow that has to leave until the next winter.

Cute idea, but a bit too cute for older kids. The concept of remembering as a friend was a bit too advanced for younger kids.

This is a good book about a friendship between bears that is able to make it through the different season.

I thought the illustrations did a great job of portraying the story, but the plot could have been more detailed. This simple story would be great for younger readers.
