I bought this book from Mr. Powell's store in Hiram along with the other two in the trilogy. I really enjoyed the pacing and the characterization in this novel. I also enjoyed the cliffhanger-type ending which made me look forward to the next installments. I haven't made it to the second yet because I had too many books on my to-read list, but it's at the top of my list for 2017. Thanks for the excellent book, Mr. Powell! Look forward to visiting your shop again soon!
I loved this book because it kept me turning pages to the very end. The characters were interesting and believable, and the plot gave you something to think about. Bryan is a talented author, and I look forward to reading more of his work.
The book may be small, but it's content is not. I rather enjoyed this little gem. I'm looking forward to book 2 in the Stranger series. Way to go, Bryan!
