Миллиган, похоже, защищался разбросанностью от предсказуемости, а письмом - от разбросанности.
В качестве основного источника вдохновения указаны пончики с джемом, но спасали они не всегда - постоянные депрессии, которые прекращались только после глубокого трехдневного (!) сна.
Антробус - куда более простой персонаж: хотел стать великим драматургом, пытался стабилизировать себя алкоголем, что в действительности мешало писать, потом вылечился и ударился в христианство, потом вылечился от христианства, работая над телешоу, и, в конце концов, стал писателем.
