Ms. Mulligan lives a charmed life. Literally.

Alright, so this book was kind of adorable in all of the best ways. Do you remember that movie with Jennifer Garner called 13 Going On 30? This book reminded me of that. We have twelve year old Tabby who suddenly wakes up one day and she's 25 year old Ms. Mulligan. Together with her friends Dolly and Kat they try to fix the situation only to find themselves in the middle of some bigger magic. The book is full of unique and fun characters, it tackles some bigger topics in a way that this age grou ...more

Don't miss this fun and sometimes spooky middle grade novel full of girl power!

Tabby wakes on her twelfth birthday as a grown-up . . . and the reader is immediately pulled into the mystery. Why has this happened? What can Tabby and her two best friends do to help? I loved following Tabby as she becomes a teacher at her school, sees her boyfriend fall in love with someone else, and relies on her two best friends - the spunky detective, Kat, and Southern diva, Dolly - as they learn about her famil

Ms Mulligan is Tabby, a 12 year old who wakes up one day on her birthday to find herself magically transformed in to a stunning 25 year old version of herself.
This book is fun to read, one which you can read between a couple of mind boggling, heart wrenching and soulful books. It will add just the right amount of pleasantness to your forlorn heart.
Although a middle grade book, it can be enjoyed by teens and adults equally. The character building was good, and the plot was easy to follow. It mi

#FirstLine ~ Tabby set a bowl of vanilla-fudge ice cream on the coffee table.

Mystical and yummy this book has everything a sweet middle grade book should have. I was so entertained and loved it cover to cover. I thought it was original and funny, as well as deep and thought provoking. It was a superb! I highly recommend it!!!

A fun mix of magic, young friends on an adventure, and evil trying to take them down at every turn makes for a great read!

After having a fun filled birthday with friends, Tabby Easterland wakes up to find she has been transformed into a twenty-five-year-old woman. She takes the identity of Ms. Mulligan and begins teaching at her own school. With the help of her friends, Dolly and Kate, she goes on a search to figure out what happened to her and how she can get back to her twelve year old self. T

Ms Mulligan and the Enchanted Ice Cream is a charming middle-grade novel that explores a number of serious issues I wasn't initially expecting it to. There's ice-cream, friends, school, and magic, but later on, to my enjoyment, the story takes a somewhat darker turn. Tabby is a 12-year-old girl who suddenly wakes up one morning as a 25-year-old woman. She has no idea why, and with the help of her best friends, assumes a new identity as a teacher at their school. This proves to be a fantastic ide ...more

This reminds a bit of the movie 13 Going On 30, but with a more solid middle school twist and a pinch of magical fun.

It's Tabby's twelfth birthday, but the last thing she expected was to wake up in a body of herself in her mid-twenties. Her best friends do their best to help her figure and sort things out. With a little luck and a bit of disaster, Tabby ends up as a teacher at the middle school and discovers some strange things about her own parents she never knew. Throw in the boy of her dreams

Think the movie BIG with a witchy twist.
Hey, it's just a bunch of hocus pocus, right? 😉

Seriously though, I had a hard time getting into it initially, I think because it focused so much on our leading "girl-turned-lady" fitting into her new world versus finding a fix. I mean, if it was me, I'd probably be hopping up and down to figure out a solution to this strange growth spurt with my current and future well being a very distant thought...I know, not exactly practical. What can I say? It holds

Like a giant bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream, Ms.Mulligan and the Enchanted Ice Cream was delightful, refreshing and satisfying. Tabitha is a fun heroine and all of her experiences and emotions are relatable, whether you are 12 or 46 years old (a lovely age!) Joy, angst, heartbreak, fear, confusion, love, friendship...you will be experiencing each of these as you read and relate to all of the people in Tabitha's world. I can't wait for the next adventure!!

My 10-year-old niece thoroughly enjoyed this middle-grade fantasy adventure by Tiffany Elaine. It had all the right ingredients for her taste: magic, funny dialogue, mystery, suspense, and memorable characters! My niece's favorite character was the spunky detective-in-training Kat Dorsett, who was hilarious (and far more entertaining than Nancy Drew)! We are eagerly awaiting the next book, Ms. Mulligan and the Council of Butterflies!

I read this book along with my 9 year old daughter. Both of us really enjoyed the book and Tabby/Ms. Mulligan's adventure. It is certainly a fantastic enjoyable read for a young girl! My daughter said it was one of the best books she's read. It definitely appeals to her age group! I would highly recommend this book!

An exciting read, though the writing could use some polishing and some of the scenes were a little far-fetched. I am certainly interested in reading the next installment.

Tiffany Elaine grew up writing stories for her friends to read chapter-by-chapter instead of doing homework. She brought her love of words to a career in business and entertainment writing, but fiction remains her first love. Ms. Mulligan and the Enchanted Ice Cream is her first novel. She's currently working on the next novel in the series, Ms. Mulligan and the Council of Butterflies.
