3.5 Stars!

Potions & Fangs follows the story of Fern and Holder. On a campus of thousands, Fern wants nothing more than to blend in and keep her truth a secret. Feeling as though something is missing, Fern takes a chance and emails Holder. She has had a crush on Holder for forever and never thought he would answer her emails….Holder is lost and wants nothing more than to find who he truly is. College is hard for the average person, but when life throws a major curveball at Holder, only time w

This novella is about the emails that's transpired, or is it transpiring between Fern and Holder and some of the things Holder writes is funny, "P.S. I don't think I can ever rewatch Twilight after this. It will just p*** me off because I don't sparkle." Overall I liked this book, it was an original concept, but it was driving me bonkera that there was no dialogue, I really wanted that sort of interaction between the characters.

I received this book from one of the authors in exchange for an honest and voluntary review. I was in no way compensated for this review.

Alyssa Rose Ivy collaborated with Jennifer Snyder to bring us yet another amazing Paranormal New Adult book, Potions & Fangs! But what makes this book even more amazing other than being coauthored is that it's told entirely through emails! I've read books that are similar in format to this and I have to say it's quite fun!

Holder and Fern were coworkers at a

I’m on the fence with this book. I may have gone in with high hopes considering these are two of my favorite authors. I did enjoy the story and romance. Fern and Holden were fun. I really missed the personal aspect of the connection. The romance didn’t feel as exciting without those small things that a couple does to entice the reader. Even just a tuck of a curl behind the ear. The details are missing. BUT the story was a unique experience and they get kudos for trying something original.

This book was super cute. It was told entirely in emails between Fern and Holder. They worked together and then went to separate schools but they kept in touch through emails. I loved the way the story was told. It was different and I liked it.

Potions and Fangs by Allyssa Rose Ivy and Jennifer Snyder a five-star read that made me want to email everyone I know!! This is the first book in the Vampire Email series and I loved the concept, it really was like looking into the minds of people getting to see the bits that most of us hide, the secrets two best friends share. Holder and Fern have both got challenges the are facing new in new schools, away from home and both trying to find their paths in life. In the emails they reveal details ...more

***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

This is the first book in a new series collaboration between Alyssa Rose Ivy and Jennifer Snyder. The book was alright, but not my personal favorite. The book is a quick and easy read which bounces back and forth email messages from Fern and Holder.

Overall, the book was good, but I don't think I would personally read another book in the series. I felt like there was something missing between the characters. There wasn't that connection th

Intriguing and fun to read!

When I first started reading this book I as a little skeptical because the format was a little different but the more I read the more I loved it. I love paranormal books and even though this was different I really enjoyed this one. It is how a lot of people communicate these days, including myself, and I felt like it was an actual conversation between the two characters. I loved how you got to watch the characters grow closer with each message and I grew curious how t

Written completely in email form and coauthored by two of my favorite paranormal authors Potions and Fangs is novella that you must one click! Potions and Fangs was a quick, fun read! Since all of the conversation is via email, you won't find your typical romance with steamy love scenes instead you'll find fun interesting one sided chapters that'll have you tuned in to another for the next response. If you are a lover of vampire paranormal romance and are looking for something a little different ...more

I absolutely loved the format of this book. The content was awesome, too, but how could it not be with two of the best authors ever. The flow was very natural & the characters believable. And the movie references!! Soooooo many fantabulous movies referenced!! Read it! You won't regret it!
