An interesting beginning

The box set was an easy and relaxing read. The stories were good up until the fifth book. Now the family is embroiled in a war between paranormal factions and it appears they will now be racing against the bad guys to find magical relics. The first four books featured the sheriffs as the bad guys… some real issues against law enforcement coming out here. Additionally, you often see the girls, especially the youngest making stupid mistakes. The best part of this series is the cat.

Excellent Set of Mysteries

These four sisters discover their family secrets and gifts, some find men, all get tangled up in adventures and should pay more attention to the cat. Highly recommended!

I don't know why I kept reading these books. They are poorly written and use just about every trope imaginable. There is no depth to any character and the "mysterious" organization is accepted without any question. I think I was reading to see what implausible thing would happen next.

Plenty of action makes these a quick read, with just enough romance thrown in to make it fun but not a romance novel per se. I also like the bits of holistic medicine and magic in the mix.

Great storytelling times 5!

Any setting by the ocean soothes my soul. This series, about four sisters, who've just discovered their supernatural abilities, while all living In their 24 room ancestral mansion on the coast. Each book focuses on one sister navigating through life, following the career path perfectly chosen for her supernatural gift, and falling In love. Of course they will be fighting off modern day pirates and an evil billionaire scientist who wants to steal their powers for his own crooked reasons. There is also a happy surprise at the end. I fell in love with each character and the story as a whole. I'm getting ready to read book 6.

Sister's that work together

These sister's work together to solve mysteries. They have normal lives and paranormal abilities. They go from not knowing about their abilities to working together to enhance them. One can stop AR book 5 or continue on. I'd like to see one or more of them marry the love if their life instead of having a boyfriend until they die. Just an opinion. They're A Family because their Mom and Dad got married and had a family. There's always something positive to say about future generations.

I really enjoyed this set. I like how the sisters continued to grow through each story. Nice surprise at the end of the last book. As the sisters grow into their different talents, they fight corrupts sheriffs, look for treasure and battle treasure hunters. A few mysterious people pop in and out of their lives. They face danger together and discover love along the way. I love Bella. She is a bit of mystery, but really like her.

Good book

That sounds very wishy washy.. This is a good book with fun characters and a interesting story. The five books flow together well and really help to grow the characters and their ability. It feels a little contrived that you can tell whether the new character is good or bad based on their looks but that is a minor. Issue. Will continue to read this series

The Blackmoor sisters are more than they seem.

This was an excellent book that held many surprises and a lot of courage and determination. I hope we really do get to read what their next adventure is and where it will take them. This was one of the best series I have read.

Five books, five mysteries solved

Four sisters, each with her own paranormal abilities, find themselves the target of evil people. Each time they make it through, with the help of each other. The bad guys are still out there, so the series continues .

I'm not impressed. I love cozy mysteries, but this box set is easy on the mystery and the sheriff is an incompetent ass who the sisters should report for harassment. I couldn't finish... I reached the 3rd book

This is a fun little series. Lighthearted.

Being five books, it's hard to give it a full five stars, as there is a lot of ups & downs.  But overall, the 5 book set is a solid 4 stars.  Solid.

Although each book has different mysteries, the characters slowly develop throughout the books.  Almost too slowly though.  Sometimes I feel like I need more in the character development.  I do like how new characters get introduced.  There are hints of them previously, and they don't feel like they just pop in with the next book.  I give the author major kudos for that!

I like the cat, Belladonna.  I do think she was a bit ignored in the first book, and took on more of a main character in the second and third.  She obviously had a secret and I couldn't wait to uncover who she was. ;-)

The plots transpire at a nice pace.  I don't feel like there is too much nonsense, and it flows well.  Each book continues on from the last, but when one finishes, it's not a cliff-hanger.  You can't wait to read the next one, but you don't feel like you need to finish the story.  I like that about this series.

The books are suspenseful and mysterious.  You're trying to solve the mystery along with the girls. The romance in the books take place almost in the background and is not in your face.  Good, because I'm not a romance fan.  The hint of it is very nice.

The books are a nice relaxing read. I've enjoyed these books, and I will admit I have sought out other books by the author.  All are good reads!
