I picked this up because my husband's late grandfather is one of the cops mentioned in the book (John Shepard, in the chapter "The Hooker Who Snitched on Everybody") so a copy has passed around the family. The book definitely doesn't pull any punches. It's very explicit. Crazy the stuff that's happened in Boston.
