It’s all fun and games until someone breaks out the needles.

It was supposed to be a simple retrieval mission. Go in, grab the bespelled package of evidence against some very corrupt superpowers, and get out. The mission turns sideways when a vengeful spy Bix blackballed during her time in Dark Ops crashes the job and injects Bix’s teammates with an unknown toxin. Succumbin

I loved the first book in this series and was stalking Amazon for the release of book 2 when I was offered an ARC. You bet I jumped on that chance.

And this is yet another great read!

Bix is in for a lot of trouble. Two of her friends get injected with a very nasty toxin, and she is on a race against the clock to find out what is going on and to find a cure. If that's not enough, she has to deal with her rediscovered powers, her past, and Gods who might be just a bit too interested in her.

The gatekeeper is back! This is the second book in the series and you truly must read book one to know what is going on. Because there is a LOT. But if you love mythology mixed in with your UF, you should check this series out.

WOW wow, this book has so many different plots reveals and twists that I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one to come out. Bix is starting to understand how to use her powers and now we have Devourers in the mix and they are a nasty piece of work. You will love how involved the writing is and the characters. We are learning so much more about who Bix was and who she can become now. I hate to tell you anything about the story as I want you to read it. If you haven't read The Burned ...more

Death isn't scary, it's the dying. Plans go south when Cian is infected with a biohazard agent as the dark elf that administered it gives a mayday protocol before he succumbs to the virus. The horrifying results of the virus lead Bix to a deep conspiracy within the consortium. With time running out to find the cure, Bix gets a mind bending gift and revelations from the people who knew her before her memories were wiped. This is a fabulous series. Start with The Burned Spy. Finely woven worldbuil ...more
