"Tentatively at first, and then with more determination, a man wanders away from his marriage. He falls in love, not with another woman but with the inner sea of Zen meditation. It then becomes all the more surprising to find evidence that his wife is actually being unfaithful with someone else. This is how things stand at the beginning of Marco Vassi's 13th novel, which has the feeling of a small, jewel-like play. A novel of intricate intelligence, tremendously witty, and well constructed".--New York Times
