Book One in the NA Post-Apocalyptic Dystopian Epic The End Saga.

They're all dead.

Now, as my own body decides whether to live or die, I replay my entire life over and over in my mind. No longer do I want it to end, something has changed in me. Somehow, through all of this, I’ve found a will to go on, even if it’s in darkness. For the first time since I’ve been alive, I wa

This unique story both breaks your heart and gives you hope at the same time. It is a heart wrenching, complex, totally absorbing tale that takes your breath away. There is so much action, suspense and emotion in this book that it’s hard to describe just how good of a story it is. Grace/Ophelia is a flawed, amazing character that struggles to survive her own demons as well as the surrounding world. Her relationships, losses, strength and personal battles leave you astounded and amazed. The autho ...more

Loved this book, not your normal zombie read. I loved following grace though her journey and watching her battle her demons, and being able to overcome the mental struggles even in a dead world there's still hope.
They are not just fighting the dead, but also the living and their own demons. we are also introduced to some new pretty kick ass characters that all pull together and become more then just another survivor in Graces world. Grace loses some and finds love and family in people she never

THis was an amazing surprise for me! An enchanting epic in the best tradition. It sucks you in, Keeps you enthralled from start to finish! With quality writing, adventure and characters you can believe in, it's a can't miss read! The main CHaracter, Grace, Struggles with her inner demons to find her way into a better place with strength, courage and True Heart! Her past took her to a dark world of pain and trauma but she finds her way step by step. It broke my heart, choked me up and left me wit ...more

Heartbreak and hope

Heartbreaking and lovely and rough around the edges.  In a dystopian tomorrow I believed in heart broke with Grace's and was mended  and torn back out shred by shred.  Amidst the chaos, the calm,  the drugs and children the fear and the strength Grace continues to fight.  Be prepared to feel all of the things that Grace feels. Trust in those she hopes are on her side and even if they are not, she finds she cares about them. Now to hear what Gideon has to say.

Oh. My. God!!!! These characters and this story have sucked me in from the start. This is not my genre or even close and I seriously couldn't put this book down and I can't stop thinking about the characters and wondering how the story will end. The writing is wonderful and so descriptive that I found myself feeling like I was in the story living and running right along with Grace and Gideon. Thank you Christina Rozelle for writing a book that opened my eyes to a new genre. I voluntarily reviewe ...more

So much more than a zompoc book!!! This book is a life changing journey, the most beautiful blossoming flower that just happens to be set in a zombie apocalypse.
Willows in the End is 3 books come together as one, the way they belong. They were awesome as 3 individual books, but there is just so much that happens, so much depth, so much soul changing, life giving heart that is all part of one continuous story, they really belonged together.
Ophelia is a broken soul, life has not been kind to her,

Hits Hard and Fast

WARNING: Themes prevalent in this story are as follows: physical/mental/emotional abuse, child abuse, suicide/homicide, government corruption/experiments, wicca, sex(gay/het), and the undead.

At first I could not get into this story. The main issue being Grace. I normally detest main character's that have a constant negative attitude and that was Grace in spades. As I kept reading I found myself connecting to Grace/Ophelia. I am Grace in many ways or used to be I should say. Her

I will start off stating this is not my normal type of read, I am not a big fan of romance or erotica.
The Author was responsible in rating the book as NA,(Mature content would be a good label for it.) there is also a mature content warning in the description.
The Government had mandated that everyone 21 and older get vaccinated. With the exception of a few groups like Military personnel, Police officers ect. The vaccination was supposed to eliminate crime. There was going to be a 1,000 dollar fin

"The only time you can be brave is when you're scared. You told me that, remember, Phelia?" (Zelle, 145).

Willows in the End is a hardcore post-apocalyptic novel following Grace as she navigates the world after a mandatory 'anti aggression' shot called mindset turns everyone over the age of 21 into vicious, flesh eating, undead bodies.

The book starts off with a typical day in Ophelia(Grace)'s life; school, drugs and worship. We get a glimpse of exactly what Ophelia experiences in her day to day

Ms. Rozelle has done it again! I loved every minute, and I need more!

Dysphoria and Grace
At first I was a bit skeptical. Not of the story, but it was a bit too real for me. I read mostly to escape reality, and here it is right in front of me. But the story is too good to put down! So I set aside my feelings, and concentrated on it. If I didn't need sleep, I would have devoured it in one sitting! I may have teared up in some parts, ok, I cried! Denial, love, loss, happiness, they're all in here. A

I read this book when the three parts were three books. Here are my reviews of each separate part.

Dysphoria and Grace:
Wow, this was one crazy story but very well written! New America is requiring those of the age 21 and over to get a shot that suppresses a gene for one to fight and be evil. The only ones that are exempt are the ones of the law that would supposedly protect us. Ophelia (Grace) was adopted and hates the parents that adopted her, she turns to drugs and alcohol and falls for her bes

The energy in this apocalyptic story grabs you and holds on tight. Our main character is not your usual shining star who does everything good and right. She has a heart but is afraid to let it out for fear of being hurt. This story shows you some of the dark side of human nature so be warned that this might not be for everyone. Grace is just trying to survive day by day in an unstable world. It is hard for her to know what is right and what is wrong when it’s the end of the world as she knew it ...more

The intense action and ability to connect with the main character, Ophelia/Grace, had me on the edge of my seat. I love the unique twist on the run of the mill zombie story...the characters, major and minor, fit perfectly into the world created through fierce writing and the capability to tackle sensitive topics with no fear.

I read this first as the individual books and then re-read it as Willows in the End. I was expecting to skim through since I read it before but I thoroughly re read the whole thing. This book grabs you and does not let go. You are torn apart by Grace's evolution. I personally am a huge fan of dystopian fiction, of the slight terror of what could be and Willows captures it perfectly... between the effects on society and the individual.... I couldn't put it down....twice.

Wow! Christina L. Roselle is a now favorite author of mine. Fantastic writing skills!
This story is so beautifully written, gritty, dark, witty and emotional. The authors touched places that like to be kept in the dark. In-depth character development and world building.
You never know how strong you are until the world as you know it comes to an end.
Grace/Ophelia is such a strong but damaged character. And in spite of/ or maybe due to all she's been through, her character evolves. Her journey to

Willows in the End is a wonderful rewrite of three previous books- Dysphoria and Grace; Murray's Law; and Tunnels and Planes. It's hard to believe that the author could make these three books better but in combining them, the story is much more cohesive.
This is Grace's story. A story of unbelievable hardship in such a short lifespan. She's only 20 years old but doesn't know how to love or trust. She was adopted but was broken beyond repair long before these parents tried to love her. It doesn't
