I really enjoyed this book. I have read her Eternal Guardians series and loved those, so I was excited to read her contemporary series. For a novella I thought it had a good balance. The beginning had a nice pace that let you get to know the characters and set the scene. The 2 MCs had a steamy chemistry that had been building for awhile. This was a quick read even though it doesn’t look like it from how long it took me. It took a bit for this book to get moving, but once it did it didn’t stop until the last page!
