Not just pretty pictures, but it also has its directions on how to adapt the old style patterns in a fashion that will work. More of an idea book than a pattern collection.
Very interesting for all knitters, or for anyone interested in Iceland. The author does a wonderful job incorporating Icelandic culture with the knitting known exclusively to the country. Excellent patterns and photos, too.
This has several sweater patterns that I would wear and make, but there was a lot of cross motif designs that are reminiscent to the 'Swiss' flag. 3 stars
