What can I say about the book Freed other than READ IT!!!!  This is part of the Rosewood Bay series but is a standalone read like the others.  The story is heartwarming and touching and gave all the good feels that I was looking for on a rainy day.  I devoured this book in one sitting and loved all the characters and the quaint little beach town it was set in.  Carly Phillips did an amazing job writing this hot sexy romance that kept me turning the pages.  I’m looking forward to the next edition ...more

Juliette came to Rosewood Bay seeking her lost family, and she had gotten so much more than she’d ever hope for. She found Braden Clark.

I’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series, featuring Juliette's, sisters Phoebe and Halley Ward, so getting Juliette’s story, I couldn’t wait. Although this was the third book in the series, it can definitely be read as a stand alone. But I encourage you to read the series first, this group is wonderful.

I did enjoy this one, it was sweet, predictable thou

Freed is the third book in the Rosewood Bay series, and brings us to the third Ward sister. I have to say I was a little nervous about this one since we didn't know too much about Juliette other than that she was wealthy. I was honestly expecting someone a little stuck up so it was a pleasant surprise when that's not what we got from this character.

Juliette was going through something life changing, finding out she had sisters she never knew about, but she dealt wi

Freed is part of the Rosewood bay series but can be read as a standalone.

Having read the first two books in the Rosewood Bay series: Fearless and Breathe...which I enjoyed immensely, I was looking forward to reading Freed.
Juliette is a character one could easily love! She is sweet, caring and has a silent strength to her that is admirable.
Branden is hot! He is protective and gentle. I enjoyed reading the fact that their relationship was easy ...the flow was so natural.

Having said this, I must s

I  enjoyed reading Freed. This is the third in a series but is a standalone and I came to this book as a new reader in the series.

I liked Juliette, she was kind and considerate but so naive, this is in no small part to her over protective (controlling) father, who let her think he was all that she had in the world because her mother had died. He deceived her and used his health to keep a tight rein on her. When she found out that her mother was alive and that she had two si

If you’re looking for a romance that makes you feel good all around, look no further than Carly Phillips’ Rosewood Bay series. This is a series of standalone romances, but I recommend each and ever one of them. The third standalone book in the series, FREED, captured my heart from the very beginning. I’ve been waiting for Juliette’s story ever since she was introduced in the storyline. I was curious about

This was the third book in this series, and we finally meet the long lost baby sister, Juliette! This one was quite good!

Until one day, she finds a private investigator's report in her father's office, showing her mother is alive, and she has 2 half-sisters she never knew existed. She's 26 years old, but she's n

Just when I think the last book I’ve read by Carly Phillips will be my favorite, she writes another book that become my new favorite book. I swear I didn’t think I would fall in love with another of the Ward sisters the way I did with the first 2 books in the series, and I was so glad to see I was wrong. Book three in what has become one of my favourite series. I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Phillips writing style and Freed is no exception. Her characters are strong and easy to relate too and I particularly liked how she built the story up.

I must say that I really enjoy Freed. It was a quick, fun read that was surprisingly low on drama, considering all that I had expected to happen in it. I know I should never assume anything, but a long lost sister popping up and the guy you’re “seeing” is actually a “babysitter” hired by your over-protective father? You cannot tell me that you wouldn’t expect the angst to be coming out to play, but it didn’t really and I thoroughly enjoy it.

I loved Juliette. I really did. Despit

I was kind of excited for the chance to meet Juliette in Freed, and her sisters get a chance to meet her. It wasn't a bad read, but I felt that the story could have been longer. I have said that about all of them, but with Freed I felt that it was too short. However, I did like the story. We have Juliette who wants to get to know her other siblings that she didn't know about. Basically, we watch her break free from her father's control. This could have delved in a littl

This is the third book in the series, and I would suggest that you really need to read the books in order. We know some of Juliette's early life from Phoebe and Halley's stories, and we know that they are very keen to find her too - that is, I think quite important, as it makes their attitude towards her arrival much easier to understand.

Obviously we know from the start the difficult position that Braden finds himself i

This was a quick but enjoyable read. Juliette initially came across as spoiled and protected, which she was. However, once she discovered that she has sisters that her dad hide from her, she leaves that protected cocoon and sets out on her own.
