He promises he'll have me on my knees in three days. When I found out my friend was getting married, I was happy for her. But I had no idea who she was marrying. Apparently he's a Dom. So are all of his friends. I'm learning a LOT about her lifestyle, now that I'm in the middle of her wedding. That's how I met him. He's calm and cold and hotter than hell. He also thinks he knows everything about women. Thanks to a little liquid courage, I give him a piece of my mind. I tell him not every girl wants to be conquered by an alpha male – especially one who thinks too highly of his own skills in bed. He offers me a bet. If he can get me to do whatever he says, after just three days with him, then I'll have to spend a month as his “good girl” submissive. If he can't, he gives me $100,000. It's a stupid bet, but it's win-win for me. I get to prove him wrong and walk away with 100 grand? Sign me up. But I don't know what I'm walking into. I don't know what he's capable of. I don't know how easy it'll be for him to get me on my knees... begging him to just do whatever he wants. Telling him that I'm a good girl. Saying yes. This is a standalone FULL LENGTH NOVEL with a HEA and NO cheating! Penny Wylder writes just that-- wild romances. Happily Ever Afters are always better when they're a little dirty, so if you're looking for a page turner that will make you feel naughty in all the right places, jump right in and leave your panties at the door!
Great book. Lots of hot BDSM sex with a grumpy, bossy Dom; a sub who didn't know she was one; a sweet romance and a beautiful epilogue. Now are there books for the other couples who appear in this book.
ARC received by author in exchange for an honest review! 3.5 stars
This is a me not the book review! I like a little BDSM but not everything I can find good in. This is a short story with little to no drama. The steam in this one is high and it is fun. But not everything is for me.
In this one it's also a bit explained what BDSM actually is in total because many people have the wrong idea. I still have a clear picture of what I can and can't get passed.
Give it a go this is a ME review not every one elses.
This is my first PW book and it was perfection! How come nobody told me that this incredible author existed?! I know I will be binging on her books like Cray Cray 😈
When Emma is unexpectedly thrown into the world of BDSM she knows she wants no part of it. Upon first seeing Emma, Matthew knows she is sub material and is determined to make her see it, so he challenges her to be his sub for 30 days. The 30 days is full of emotions, funny bits and super sexy times.
Good Girls Say Yes is a quick, fun, hotter than hot, BDSM romance that will definitely have you fanning yourself to cool down.
A hot, steamy & sexy BDSM (PWyld style) read. If you’re a fan of a BDSM lifestyle discovery story in a read that offers you heat, heart & a HEA without complicating anything, then this read is for you. I enjoyed it.
This is a short story with little drama. This is more of a hot and steamy read. Emma just happens to meet Matthew at a unique friend's wedding where sparks fly. Upon first seeing Emma, Matthew knows she is sub material and is determined to make her see it which is where he comes up with a challenge, more of a bet per say. That he can get her to do whatever he wants within three days, if she wins, she gets $100,000- if she loses; she is his to command for 30 days as his submissive. This is one heady read, where sparks and steam and heat are all there. I loved this fun and sizzling read. This is one of the best reads by Penny. I highly recommend this story.
My Rating: 4.6 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
The dianamic shift of power in this novel breaks down the Dom and Sub rolls. It's actually really interesting to see a relationship bloom with someone who is very deep in the lifestyle and someone who has ever touched the surface. Emma just happens to meet Matthew at a friend's wedding. Sparks are pretty instant for these two but Emma doesn't think she has a submissive bone in her body. Matt wants to prove her wrong... Ding ding ding people we have a bet! There are somethings that are extremely embarrassing and others that make the scene hot as heck. It's rather short but gets the point across to readers, that it's okay to trust. Great story!
Given an ARC Copy for an honest review: Good Girls Say Yes is a hot and steamy fast paced read. At first I thought that it was really good book, but then it fast forwards 30 days and you kind of lose the fun of the book. I don't really appreciate when books skip important parts. Also there was no actually epilogue, like how Emma and Matthew get married, have kids, how their love blossoms. I was kind of disappointed. I usually am in love with Penny Wylder's books, but this one, not so much. Still love her an author, but again this book was a let down.

I have read a few by Penny Wylder and this one was a little different. It is a relatively short story, low on drama but it depicts a BDSM lifestyle in a different way than most books and not all of it appealled to me but I definitely enjoyed reading it.
Emma hasn’t seen her good friend, Lily, in two years. So when she shows to her wedding and finds half of the audience actively expressing their BDSM relationships, she’s surprised. Then Emma starts to feel lonely after realizing she’s one of few solo guests there, so she does the reasonable thing: gets wasted. So when a stranger named Mark approaches her and insists she is submissive, she’s more than resistant. But then he makes her an offer: three days to convince her she’s submissive. He wins, she promises to be his slave for 30 days. She wins, $100,000. Game on.
I didn’t feel this one. Some of the plot was contrived and unrealistic leaving me with endless questions. And I especially wanted to know: were Lily’s parents at her wedding? Was any of her family? They were cool with half the people in attendance being in their skivvies and walking around on leashes? Seriously, I need to know.
Emma wasn’t the best heroine, and she definitely wasn’t consistent. She was haughty and stubborn, but the moment Mark said “be submissive”, she rolled over and played dead. And Mark. I think I liked him? I don’t know, because he was sweet at times, but at others he crossed the dom line into jerk territory. IE Plus, he didn’t really talk much out with Emma. He gave her a tour of the house and everything, but whenever she would ask a question about doing something sexual that she wasn’t comfortable with (like screwing other people) he shut her up with “that’s not your decision, it’s mine and if I think it’s in your best interest to have sex with other people (what is he, her pimp?), you will do it. Don’t you trust me?” Shouldn’t she have a say in who she sleeps with? It was like kinky reverse psychology and I didn’t like it.
Aside from the characters being meh and undeveloped, the plot jumps from those three days to the end without any further development of their relationship. It ended and I felt like I just read a story about two people that made sex into a business transaction, and it didn’t leave me feeling good.

Oh Penny, do you know how to write a sexy, sweet story or what?!
Loved this story. It was so utterly perfect. From the wedding which had me grinning grinning from the start. To the 15 minutes *wink* *wink*, then the bet.
So much to love and it's so easy to want more becauce there wasn't a dull moment. The story kept moving, kept you in the moment and wondering how things will go next.
I fell in love with Matthew and Emma. They're such interesting characters and a unique dynamic. Watching them together and fall in love was a delight.
This story has so much and such a good HEA that will have you craving more from this duo.
Total must read, if you enjoy a little (lot) of action and BDSM scenes! And of course a love story!
When Emma attends her college roommate's wedding, she didn't expect it to be quite so "unconventional". She also didn't expect to meet Matthew or the bet he is willing to make with her.
Wow! This book was so hot and sexy! I was hooked from the start, hanging on every sultry word. I was completely mesmerized by Matthew. A definite MUST READ! 5 stars!
Oh Gawddd!!!! Damn this was hot. This was steamy, this was sexy. It's short and not much in the way of sweet gestures and romances BUT if you want something which will leave you so hot this is it. It gives the light on the meaning of dom/sub relationship.
Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass das Buch so gut ist. Ich finde es gibt wenig Bücher dieser Art, die eine Dom/Sub Beziehung gut erklären und gleichzeitig die Ängste ansprechen.
Guess it takes all sorts...didn't like this. At all.
For one thing, if Emma had such fears about being dominated and abandoned, the reality is such that she would have needed more than one weekend to let go of her misgivings and control, and absolutely would have to have gotten more familiar with Matthew. A smart, modern woman with her history needs therapy and more get-to-know-you time to learn to trust a rich, gorgeous, strong man like Matthew to restrain and control her than Emma had, and it's hardly believable their love and Dom/Sub relationship bloomed the way it did. Real life situations that work out take time - months, years even, not mere days to one month. This story would have been more creditable had she not had that bad experience, and the pair of them hooking up and building a relationship over a longer period than Ms. Wylder gave them. Interesting BDSM scenes that were less intense than some I have read; Sean Ashcroft and DJ Heart do BDSM that's believable, realistic, and, well -- seriously intense. Just sayin'. . .
When Emma attended the wedding of her college roommate, she was not prepared to find out all the men in attendance would be Doms. She was even less prepared to meet Matthew. Matt is sexy, all alpha and convinced Emma is a sub. Emma disagrees completely. When she goes off with him and he starts giving her commands she isn’t quite sure why it all feels so good, but it must be a fluke. When he makes her a bet that he can get her to do whatever he wants within three days, she jumps at what she thinks is a chance for easy money. After all, she is definitely not a submissive and getting $100,000 is great motivation to help her not fall to her knees. Matt is determined to show Emma just how much of a sub she truly is and he is used to women following his commands. Three days is more than enough time to have her on her knees and assuring she’ll be following his every command for a month. Will Emma give in? If she does, will 30 days be enough for Matt?
Penny Wylder stories are like catnip. Once you read one, you want to read more. I get especially excited for her full length stories because I’m always wanting more time with the characters. Emma and Matt were a lot of fun and extremely sexy together. I really loved the premise of stumbling onto the lifestyle the way Emma did. Another easy, sexy fun read from Wylder.
Penny Wylder writes wild romances that are fun and dirty, and she delivers just that in Good Girls Say Yes. It was such a fun, sexy, steamy and quick read.
When Emma attends a friend’s wedding, imagine her surprise when she realizes her she is marrying a DOM and his friends are a part of the wedding. She is so happy for her friend but had no idea what that lifestyle entails. Then she meets Matthew, sexy, reserved and a total DOM who quickly informs her about BDSM.
Matthew takes one look at Emma and knows she is a submissive, even as she denies it. He gives her an offer she cannot refuse. Thirty days with him as his submissive and he will have her begging for more. She gives him a piece of her mind, but then he offers to give her $100,000 if she finds it is not for her. How can a girl refuse? What Emma did not expect was how her body would respond to him.
Good Girls Say Yes by Penny Wylder was so sexy and steamy. Matthew was a total alpha and it was fun to watch Emma walls come down. I loved the characters, story and writing.
Emma found out her best friend from college is getting married, the invite states this is not and traditional wedding. Never put any real thought into that comment until Emma got to the wedding. OMG Lily was marrying a Dom she was into BDSM lifestyle. I tried not to stare but it was hopeless. Now at the reception as Emma was getting hammered, she hears the voice of a sultry sex god. Emma turns to see him and he was beautiful.
Mathew follows Emma to the dance floor and tells Emma all he need was 15 mins and he could change her begging for more. As they walked back into the party he make a bet with her, 3 days and she would admit to being a submissive or he would pay her $100,ooo and once she admits it Emma would have to spend the next 30 days with him. They caught in all this was she must be his submissive for 3 days without any hesitation.
Love this book, It showed the relationship and trust Emma was building and how patience Mathew was to show Emma how to be a submissive he wanted to keep, good read and kept you hot & wanting with each word.
To say Emma is a little shocked by what she sees at her friend's "non-traditional" wedding is an understatement. Women being led around by collars and kneeling by their men - she can't help but stare. Yet, knowing her friend, she also can't help but be a little curious. When she runs into Matthew at the reception bar, he mistakes her for a sub. Emma is a little ticked off that he would assume that by looking at her, he then offers her a 15 minute peek into the life which then leads to a bet: spend 3 days with him and he will prove that she likes it. If she does, she stays 30 days, if she doesn't she walks away with $100k. Emma thinks "What does she have to lose?" She knows she not a sub, and she could really use the 3 days of hot sex and the money would be nice too.
During the three days with Matthew, she learns more about the lifestyle, makes some peace with the ghosts of her past, and feels a bit more just multiple orgasms. Will she lose the bet and her heart?
Every time I start one of Penny's books I just know I'm in for one fun read. And let me tell you - this is by far her BEST work.
I loved everything about it. All the scenes they played, the way Mathew knew what Emma needed even though she fought it all to the end. It was so good to read how Mathew managed to crumble all of Emma's fears and walls down.
Choosing to give him control doesn't diminish me or make me less, it makes me brave!
Like said Penny Wylder's best work to date. Something about it just makes you give it an easy 5* 😉

This book sets up and outlines how a Dom/sub relationship works for this Dom. Yes there is some BDSM in it but not that you will be turned off but quite the opposite. You will be so, so turned on. You get the feeling that you are living and feeling everything that Mattew is making Emma feel. Mattew wants to show Emma what giving up control sexually can feel like what true trust and love can feel like and work out her hidden feeling of a past hurt. You will be wanting to see what Mattew has instored for Emma when she gives his 3 days which turns into much much more than what she thought would happen. I voluntarily review this Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
This book is so hot that you will be fanning the covers!!! Wow!! Penny Wylder really turned up the heat in Good Girls Say Yes!! Never underestimate the power of a Dominant bc when one gets you in his sights, he is not going to back down to a challenge!! Emma attends a friends wedding, unlike any wedding she has ever been to. After throwing back too many liquid courage's, she catches the eye of Dominant Matthew Forester. Even though she denies that she is an submissive, Matthew is out to prove her wrong!!! Stock up on plenty of batteries, you will need them!!!!!
First off I have to say that I love Penny Wylder's writing. I felt so connected with Emma and the thoughts she had on BDSM were very similar to what was running through my mind. The only reason that I did not rate this as a 5star book was because in the beginning of the book Emma talked about how her parents were gone and all she had was a few close friends and then at the end before her wedding she was talking about her mother and her thoughts on some wedding related things. I was very thrown off about that. However, this was still a good read and I definitely learned alot about BDSM.

Good Girls Say Yes, by Penny Wylder is a 292-page contemporary romance novel. It is written from a first-person POV, one-sided, the heroine.
Here's the thing about Penny Wylder, her books are dirty and fun. Don't expect some great character arc for both protagonists, especially since this one-sided. Heat level is a definite five.
Spoilers Ahead ***
First let's be real about what this story is really about, I'd put this in the section of, almost coming of age. Where a woman who is not into the scene, but learns that she has a strong lean towards being submissive. The story follows her through this transition to acceptance of what she likes. I mean, it isn't a handbook, but there's lots of great sex scenes, if that helps.
Emma works in marketing as a junior level, something or other. To be honest, it's not important. Her job is mentioned like three times. The book starts off with her attending her friend's wedding who apparently is in the BDSM scene, and this is Emma's first time learning about it. She's appalled and turned on, all at once, it's obvious which emotion plays out. She meets Matthew who insists that she is a natural sub, but she fights it. So he makes a bargain with her, if he can make her come within fifteen minutes she has to stay with him as his sub for three days. Then if she enjoys the three days? Well, she's his for thirty days.
Matthew...well who the hell knows what he does? All we know is he's rich and he's deep into the BDSM scene. He's a really kind dom, the book doesn't go into the aftercare aspect of their relationship, but I have to assume that he does it.
Overall, if I was into the scene, I'd like Matthew to be my dom.
In summary, I give this a 3 out of 5. I know what to expect out of Penny, so if you're looking for heartwarming, this is not the book for you...but if you're looking for some hot sex scenes and you're into BDSM (not in the scene, but it doesn't bother you), this is a good read.
