Dr. Patricia Bragg examines the most current research into the threats to cardiovascular health and outlines a natural, drug-free lifestyle proven to improve the cardiovascular health of anyone at any age.
The first twenty pages are testimonials for Bragg System founders and system. The Table of Contents begins on page twenty-one. The system is based on regimens developed by the co-author and ex-father-on-law, Paul Bragg, who died in 1976. The author was born in 1929. Although the authors’ brief biographies at the end claim, noting was PH.D. Recipients, I could not find an evidence to back up this claim. The author did not provide sources for many statistics. The accuracy of the information could not be determined. A majority of the book is an advertisement for their product with order forms conveniently provided at the end.
The author knew her topic very well and wrote in a clear and matter of fact way. As a result of reading her book, we began to juice more often and ate more raw fruits and vegetables. She even has a product out on the shelves that we now buy - organic apple cider vinegar.
The only things missing from this book were references and the date of publication. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.
