Yep, chromium is the latest in a long line of uninteresting silvery metals that I've learned about. Seriously, why not just lump all silvery metals into a slim volume entitled "Silvery Metals and the Universe They Control"? Why aren't more things shiny if these dastardly bastard metals dominate existence? Why do I not gleam with silvery fineness as I descend the frail ladder of my Shinfazian Mind-Glider, replete with the chocolate-shaped soul-ores mined and maligned on the Outer Glimpses of Do'sham-ray? Or a droid, lost in the Wastes of Fijj, whose silver electro-plating is all that stands between certain, unconfessed evisceration and the glories of the Wire Heaven?
Why am I a sloshy, hairy pink, gummy sort of thing? Oh, shit, I found my car keys!
