Ki Ra's short story 'kidai' is a 64 pages long good read and has lots of details about the goats and people who own or take care of them. (Kidai is 63Rs for Kindle Version and 73Rs for Paperback)
Kidai was later made into a Tamil film titled Oruththi. It was screened at the International Film Festival of India.

Superb!
Out of 65 pages he brought more than seven scenes in the story. As I could understand the slang I could thoroughly enjoy the details and the humors in it. Even the people who don't understand slang will not leave the book without finishing it. Interesting part was the author let the readers imagine the rest of the story. Layers of caste's and misbelieves have been ripped strongly in subtle way. Satisfying :)

கரிசல் காட்டு வழக்கங்கள் நிறைந்த கதை... சீக்கிரம் முடிந்தே என்றகவலை மட்டமே... நாயக்கர் சமுதாயமக்கள் கிடை போடுவார்கள் என்பதை இதிலிருது அறிந்தது மிக ஆச்சஎயமாக இருந்தது .

one of the best novella from Ki. Ra wrote in his own dialect style
அறுபது பக்கத்தில் ஒரு தொழில் சார்ந்த வாழ்க்கைமுறைகளை, அவர்களிடத்தில் உள்ள ஜாதி சமூக வேறுபாடும் அதனால் அமையும் வாழ்கை போக்கையும் கி.ரா-வைத் தவிர வேறு ஒருவரால் இவ்வளவு சிறப்பாக படைக்க முடியாது.
