Mindfuck is the right word here, wonderful mindfuck... and I love it!
You'll never really know if someone is weak or strong...live or die.

You'll never know who is who and why things happening and what the outcome will be..
Actions from unexpected corners and still the outcome is blurred...

Adam has a big plan, he is patient and that's admirable after what he's been through.

The way this one is put together is done so that you have to hold your attention. The back and forth in time. I love how this

Another good book in this series where more and more of Adam's past and present comes to light. Ellie Fox has definitely caught my attention with this series and has kep it from one bookmto the next leaving me each time waiting impatiently for the next book in the series to come out.

Trigger Warnings: This series has forced sex, abuse, and rape.

Adam definitely did not have it easy with Marcus. And those who thought things would get better for Adam now that Marcus is gone, well let's just say he m

I don’t like these books. The characters are all unrealistic and unlikeable. I’m not reading anything else by this author.

We carry on With Adam coming to terms with his life. Its not eazyfor him as the past is still following him.
Rho is still hanging on for Adam to come back to him.
I'm loving these books.

I am really torn with this review. On the one hand, it was interesting and I enjoyed reading about Adam & Rho, however, there were a number of issues that spoilt it for me. There is a lot of graphic violence (violent rapes etc). I don't mind some violence especially if there is payback in the end. Which brings me to the next issue. I don't like 'episode' novels. I purchased books 1 - 3 because they were at the right price and I wanted to know what was going to happen next but I never got my ...more

Is it insane of me to hold onto hope?

Up to this point, it appears more players to this twisted chess game have been revealed, but it doesn't feel to me like everyone is going to survive this. And this scares me a little. There's been a lot of twists and turns, and yet I still can't let go of hope for Adam and Rho. Considering everything they've already been through.

The King is dead, but as it turns out, he's not the King. Someone else is. This has been hell of a ride, and there is yet to be mo
