We enjoy this book every fall and winter, with the autumn and winter festivals. It's a bit hard to decide when to read each chapter. It ends up not being daily, as some festivals are weeks apart, and the last 3 chapters at least, all happen on christmas day. Chapters are short for younger readers. We intersperse them with other seasonal books.

Elsa loves these stories! They are so sweet. This book is particularly suited for the fall and winter holidays, so we are only reading the stories that pertain to the current holiday.
