This is one fantastic read, there are 10 short stories urban fantasy and paranormal romances. I just couldn’t pick which one I liked better, I love reading anthologies they remind me that writing is an art form in itself and this is one brilliant book, all of these authors collaborating to put this book together is wonderful. Some of the authors names I didn’t know but after reading their work I will be keeping my eyes out for them in the future, I really enjoyed reading this book and it was pra ...more

I haven't read all the stories and this review refers only to Rogue Recruit by Amir Lane and Sex Demon (Clem Starr: Demon Fighter #0.5) by Kat Cotton, however, I am sure that the other stories are equally interesting.
Rogue Recruit follows Elias Harper who has a cameo appearance in Bad Omen (Morrighan House Witches Book 2) and Taylor, his brother-in-law to a lesser extent. Rogue Recruit occurs a bit after the epilogue in Bad Omen and it is not related to the Morrighan House Withces series. It des

>Book Review – Darklight and Daydreams
>This set of stories is an anthology of paranormal romance and suspense. Of the ten short stories, only 3 of them seem like true short stories, with a beginning, middle and end. The other 7 stories are more like the first few chapters of a book, ending in cliffhangers.
>The best story of the bunch is the very last one regarding a young girl who hears voices telling her when things will happen to people. The jury is out as to whether the voices are real or if

This is a great collection of paranormal tales. Some of them are funny, some of them are a little bit darker.
The first story I read was Sex Demon by Kat Cotton. It is part of her Unlikeable Demon Hunter series, and don't let the name turn you away from it. The story is full of humor, and Clem is a kick-a** character who I always enjoy. This one is more along the lines of an UF rather than a PNR.
The next short I read was Joynell Schultz's Fangs and Fary Dust. This one is more of a romance, and re

Another good anthology full of fun fantasy stories.
I received a copy so I could read the Clem Starr story Sex Demon which was rather funny. Clem is hired to get rid of the Demon praying on her client's wife. Clem of course takes the easy job and hilariousness ensues. Just a fun prequel to read that shows Clem to be her usual crazy disorganized self. Then once I finished that story, I had a few others to read. Some were dark stories and some funny stories. Dragonfly Dreams made me flat out laugh.

There are a few authors I have come to love and will read their work regardless what genre it is; Joynell Schultz is one of those authors. I have never regretted my decision to pick up one of her stories, be it short, long, dark, light, fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal, mystery... or something in between the lines. Her book Blood and Holy Water was actually my introduction to her work and is what facilitated my openness to genres aside from my norms - I was just so impressed with the imaginati ...more

A review of Fangs and Fairy Dust by Joynell Schultz

I read this novella in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. It is part of Joynell's Angels of Sojourn series and Ryker appeared as a secondary character in Book 1 of the series, Blood and Holy Water. I liked him then and was hoping we would get to meet him again so i was very pleased that Joynell has given him his own story. Ryker is on a mission tracking down a rogue vampire but the mission is stirring up old memories. He meets Aliza who

Fangs & Fairydust by Joynell Schultz a novella as part of Darklight & Daydreams is a paranormal romance worth reading. Joynell Schultz is a master author of novella’s, packing a lot into a small space and yet having you still feel fulfilled once you have completed the read. The Storyline had quite the surprise happy ending, but as always the author does a great job with character and world development. She provides

I have only read Joynell Schultz’s story entitled Fangs & Fairy Dust. When I read the other stories I can give another review of the whole book.

This was a change of pace for Joynell but good lessons for human relationships still came through at the conclusion of the story.

I heartily recommend this story to any and all who enjoy vampires and fairies or who just want to escape from reading thrillers and murder mysteries. I do think once again you will be peasantry surprised by this book as I’m sur

What a great collection!

Some favorite authors and several new ones - and I'm still reading!

Fair warning, some of the stories are a bit darker than the average cozy - not a total surprise given the title.

I always enjoy Joy Shultz's books - so bonus for me to great to read one of her along with so many awesome others.

Sidhe and vampires, wendigoes and witches - and more!

A super romp of a lot of rocking good reading!
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for a review.

In this anthology, I read Fangs & Fairy Dust by Joynell Schultz. It was a pretty good book, and I grew to care for the characters. It was a quick read, and I was glad to return to the world of Blood & Holy Water, although we didn’t see those main characters. 4 stars.

This ended up being one of the worst box sets I've read. The only reason I'm giving it three stars, is because they say the proceeds are going to help Puerto Rico.

Needs an editor.
