The Troublemaker is the newest romantic comedy from the fantastic Lili Valente. It can be read as a standalone, but if you haven't read The Baby Maker then you need to do that now. If you did, you have met Carrie, Emma's sister and Rafe, Dylan's brother. I already loved Rafe and Carrie and I was excited to hear they were next to get a story. Lili never disappoints me. Ever. When I pick up one of her books, I know I'm going to laugh out loud, tear up, swoon, and fall in love. Rafe is a bad boy, but he's totally sweet. He wanted Carrie the minute he saw her, but she's his sister in law's sister, isn't there a rule about that? Carrie wants one night of sweaty passion with Rafe, but it's a bad, bad idea. Right? They try to resist each other, but they knew that was never going to work. Once they give in, it's on! They are so hot together. They just fit. But Carrie is running from something and she needs to fix it. Rafe is hiding from himself. Can these two let their guards down long enough to find their forever? I loved this story! I'm so glad we didn't have to wait long to get it.

The Troublemaker is Lili Valente’s next sexy and fun standalone. You do not have to read The Baby Maker to enjoy this story but if you did then you have already met this couple. Rafe is Dylan’s half-brother and Carrie is Emma’s sister. We got a little preview of them at the end of The Baby Maker, thank you, Lili for their story so quickly.
Carrie was trouble. Rafe knew this from the minute he saw her. She is beautiful, sexy, has a wild side and totally off-limits. He didn’t do relationships and having a one-night stand with your new sister-in-law’s sister is not the way to welcome her to the family. It could be awkward as fuck. At least she was only there for the wedding then she would be going home an hour and half way.
Carrie wanted Rafe like her next breath but she knew he was right. It would be a bad idea. She had enough scandal surround her after what her douchebag ex did. That why exactly why she was hiding in Sonoma County instead of at her place in Berkeley. Her name was in the papers, news, and TMZ. He was trying to ruin her writing career and reputation. She won’t let him but she needs to stay low.
Rafe was a no-drama kind of guy. He would usually just walk away from a woman who was in the middle of it but this was Carrie. He wanted to make her feel better. To let her talk freely without judgement. Which led to making her even more dangerous. He wanted her. She wanted him. They both knew it. They both didn’t do love. So why not have an under the covers fling why she was in hiding? They were two consenting adults with needs. As long as it stays no-strings attached they were good. Hot sex. No love. Easy.
Haha! These two. Motorcycle rides. Hot nights. Long talks. Getting closer. Will their fling turn into more? Will the scandal affect her career? Will their family find out about them? What will they think?
I liked Rafe when I first meet him but now I have fallen. He is so fucking delicious. He has the bad boy going but under it all he is a sweetheart. Carrie is the perfect match for him. She hides her feelings just as hard. Together, they are not only so damn hot but they are fun, and emotional too.
Overall...I would ride on the back of Rafe’s bike any day of the week. I would also read one of Carrie’s books! I am looking forward to the next book. You will get the preview and damn...

Carrie Haverford goes through life at the beat of her own drum. She writes books for school age children and has a very successful career. She has the tips of her hair dyed purple and she wears combat boots. She is staying at her sister Emma’s home for her wedding to the handsome Dylan Hunter she is also trying to lay low from an incident that happened when she was a guest speaker at a middle school recently and live in the guest house until she figures out what to do from this point. Along comes the devilishly hot Rafe Hunter, Dylan’s brother that lives on the wild side of life as well. He owns his own motorcycle repair business and lives life to the fullest with no intention of getting tied down to one woman. He is happy for his brother but it’s just not for him. Carrie also has the opinion that humans are not meant to be tied to one person so she has no illusions of finding “The One” and settling down. Just when Carrie thinks life can’t get any worse it does so Rafe takes her away from it all and they decide even though it’s a terrible idea since her sister is married to his brother they need a “no strings attached” F buddy. No problems right, if they are both on the same page, neither one wants a relationship beyond the physical so just keep it quiet and all is well in the world. Well life has a funny way of biting us in the backside and that happens to Carrie and Rafe. This is a great book. This follows The Baby Maker which was also a fantastic book. You don’t have to read it first but trust me you will want to. Rafe and Carrie both have deep emotional feelings they keep bottled up and together they are able to heal from past hurts. This is a HOT, funny, passionate book that will make you laugh out loud, have a tear or two and cheer for this couple to find each other and realize what their future can truly be. I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I LOVED IT! Highly recommend it. These Hunter men are so deliciously yummy and the Haverford ladies are independent, smart, hilarious and passionate. It's so good, hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Another phantasmagorical story from Lili Valente. From virtual cover to cover, The Trouble Maker is absolutely magical and will leave you smiling with pure contentment as well as capture your heart.
From the moment Carrie and Rafe meet, the sexual heat and connection speaks volumes to them both. But they both agree a relationship is out of the question since they are technically family because her sister and his brother are married and they are sure there are rules against it. But the sexual tension and playful exchanges make them both feel a deep connection they’ve never before experienced. But Carrie is running from trouble created by her ex who is seeking revenge. And they both are guarding their hearts and keeping walls erected to keep them safe. But when unadulterated passion overtakes them both, will they finally be able to allow their protective barriers to fall and let their hearts be overtaken by a love they both deserve to share together?
I fell in love with Rafe and Carrie immediately. And in typical Lili Valente style, the sarcasm and comical banter they share throughout this novel were entertaining and so much fun to read. Once again, Ms. Valente has created a enchanting couple whose sexual escapades and to-the-depths-of-their souls love left me spellbound and definitely wanting more.
The Trouble Maker can be read as a stand-alone, but Rafe and Carrie are siblings to the characters in The Baby Maker. So if you haven’t had a chance to read that story, I would highly recommend it as well. And remember keep an eye out for Rafe’s brother, Tristan’s story. It’s gonna be a fantastic one.

This book was so much fun! Flirty, funny, hot and sexy, Rafe & Carrie will make you smile, laugh and even make you blush! I love their sexy banter and they have such smoldering chemistry they can't keep their hands or anything else off each other. Neither of them wants a relationship but they sure as heck want each other so they decide to have a fling but keep it a secret since their siblings are married and they don't want things to be awkward. This of course leads to the teepee of silence which is probably the hottest teepee I've ever heard of. These two are so hot and steamy together!! So of course once ends up not enough for either of them and as they continue to secretly see each other, feelings eventually step into the mix. I love watching them fall for each other as it just seems to happen organically and it's beautiful. They really are so good for each other. The storyline of what Carrie is going through professionally is really good too and I love how Rafe ends up backing her up so she can put an end to what that tool Jordan is doing to her. I laughed when Rafe chases him!
I also love that we get some scenes with Dylan & Emma's little baby Mercy. There is just so much to love about this story!! And that last chapter has me so looking forward to Tristan's book next. It's going to be great!

Another great story involving those hot Hunter men!! This story is about Rafe and we get a small look into Tristan's (can't wait for that book) issues.
Rafe is at Dylan and Emma's wedding. Rafe just doesn't get the whole "in love" thing. He sneaks out of the reception as soon as the toast and first dance are over. He can't get away fast enough, until he gets to his bike and it's blocked in by two smart cars. He's fussing and cussing when a sexy voice makes a comment about smart cars. Unfortunately for Rafe that sexy voice belongs to Carrie Haverford, a woman that checks all his boxes and is unfortunately Emma's sister. Which means she's got a big old "hands off" sign on her.
However, they do have an attraction to each other and the chemistry is definitely there. Can they avoid acting on this attraction?

Carrie Haverford is in hiding. After being publicly humiliated by her ex she tucked tail and ran to her sister's winery to wait out the negative press. She is done with relationships and putting her trust in men, turns out all they are good for is a good time with no strings attached. Lucky for her the handsomely rugged Rafe Hunter is of the same opinion.

Another great book by Lili Valente! I was so excited to see that Rafe was getting his book next. He was the epitome of a relationship phobic. He had no desire to ever be in a relationship, until Carrie.
This was a fun quick read, that had me chuckling at a few places, but it also had a bit more emotion to it than The Baby Maker. My heart broke for Carrie but was glad to see things work out for her.
Now I get to wait for The Heartbreaker, too so I'm excited for Tristan's story is an understatement. I feel like he will be the death of me.

Love this new RomCom from Lili Valente...she is my go to author for the most funny and sexy one's around. This one is laugh out loud funny, delightfully dirty, and sinfully sexy!!!
Rafe is a tad bad boy, but all sweetheart. Carrie is fiercely independent and loving. These two make a sizzling combo.
Give this a read and you won't be disappointed...I promise you!

Loved this Story!
This book will bring out all of your emotions.
One minute you are laughing out loud and the next you are thinking how sexy and sweet Rafe is.
Carrie is the Queen of comebacks but the best one was when she said to Rafe "So you're the superhero from Orgasmia!!
I really loved both Rafe and Carrie in this book and look forward to the next one.

Sometimes secret relationships, and blanket forts, are a cover for what you really want, and sometimes it requires being willing to take the leap into the slightly forbidden, and the courage to believe in yourself, to make it happen, to trust that what you want IS right, even if your life, and your current circumstances are telling you that you don't always make the best decisions.
Rafe and Carrie are the forbidden couple as they are related...by marriage. But, with a mom who judges and a naked photo scandal, and a man who rarely commits to anything but a string of first dates, getting involved is a bad idea. Related by marriage or not.
Unless, of course, you get involved in a blanket fort cone of silence and don't tell anyone.
Because, you know, that always works and things like this always stay hidden and no one ever finds out.
But, the real fun of this book is when they each realize that maybe, just maybe, the cone of silence isn't something that they want, that just maybe there is more to this beginning of a relationship than either of them wanted to admit. It's that moment where you realize that you have what you wanted, what you were afraid to want, and what you gave yourself under the cover of something else, so you were not obligated to admit it in the light of day.
This book is funny, it's light in places. But it is also serious when it needs to be, and you genuinely start to like both Rafe and Carrie, and you want them to work out because, well, they are absolutely perfect for one another. The writing is strong, and it maintains the balance of the light, and the funny, with the more serious aspects of the story, without making the humor seem out of place, which can be a tough thing to balance.
I liked the pacing of the story, I believed the build up of the sexual attraction, and I really liked the way Rafe was aware of Carrie as a person, and aware enough of Carrie's feelings enough to know that something wasn't the best idea. This scene, without spoilers, was not a huge deal, but it the reader a glimpse into who Rafe is, and it let you really believe his interest in Carrie was genuine, before he even admitted it to himself.
I enjoyed this book, and I recommend it.

Lili Valente continues to impress with her newest fun, sweet, and oh-so-sexy standalone novel. The Troublemaker was such an amazing story packed with the feels in a very real way... one will have your heart soaring, palms sweating, cheeks blushing, and panties dampen.
I've been a huge fan of this author for quite a while and I swear each book she writes gets better and better. Y'all, Rafe and Carrie were completely unforgettable in every single way. Explosive chemistry. Undeniable feelings. One journey to an unpredictable forever.

This is the first book I read by Lili Valente. And as like other steamy romance, the story is pretty much non existence. There is no character development. I can not understand why Rafe and Carrie attracted to each other aside from hot sex. Hence I do not think these 2 will last forever down the road.
But I adore the cynical flirty sexy banter in this book. It makes me smile and giggle. And that helps me go through my miserable Thursday. And only because of that sexy flirt, i give this book 3 stars.

Wow after reading the Babymaker the first book in this series which you dont need to read to enjoy Troublemaker was I need to read Rafe's book so I was all over Troublemaker. Rafe and Carrie are both very similar as tjey have had past hurts that burned them pretty bad and they don't need or want a commitment. This book was funny as heck and so sweet. Once these two feel it was absolutely amazing. But Rafe has a harder time convicting Carrie but there story was a page turns. Everything this author writes I love and Troublemaker is definitely no different!

If it was possible to give this book more than five stars, I would it give to Rafe and Carrie. The Troublemaker is funny, flirty, and frisky. The chemistry between Rafe and Carrie was dynamic. I seriously had a hard time putting the book down.
When I read The Baby Maker I was already half in with the Hunter clan. After reading The Troublemaker, Ms. Valente not only did this character justice, she seriously makes it even easier to love the baby boy with a protective armor and a tender heart. But let's not forget the Haverford women. It seems these ladies know how to tame the heart of the Hunter men.
I really thought Lili Valente couldn't outdo The Motherpuckers series. I was wrong! This series is not only rising to the top of my list of favorites, it knocked the sexy hockey players out the arena. What, what?! It did. Now I can wait for the next one.. and hopefully the next, next one.

When Carrie Haverford is forced into hiding out at her sisters winery after being publicly humiliated by her ex, she decides that from now on she plans on only having a good time with the men she meets with no strings attached. Until she meets the ruggedly handsome Rafe Hunter and all her plans go up in smoke. I really liked this book two in this series, the characters were very lovable and funny, the story line put them into some pretty humorous situations and the sex was steaming. This was a great read.

I thoroughly enjoyed Rafe and Carrie's story and being able to catch up with Dylan and Emma as well. There is just something about those Hunter men that pulls at my heartstrings. Ms. Valente knows how to pull out all the stops to give you all the feels that you would ever want in an AWESOME story. Both of these characters have been through a lot and both of them have been protecting themselves in different ways, but each of them can see the hurt that the other is trying to hide behind. They actually make a wonderful couple and I really enjoyed Rafe's take on one person NOT being everything you need. We all need to look inside ourselves to find what is missing or what needs to be changed, instead of expecting someone else to be that change for us. Way to go Lili!!

OMG so many times I wanted to just give up on this book…but it’s not my style. Once I start something I finish it. But now I regret it! I feel like it is 6 hours of my life I’ll never get back and worse is…It is 6 hrs I could have put toward another better book.
I don’t know if it’s because I was not in the mood for this type of book or if it’s because I’ve read too many of these types of book. None the less, this book didn’t do it for me.

The Troublemaker by Lili Valente is funny, romantic, hot and oh so sweet. Rafe and Carrie are the black sheeps of their families. Rafe is Dylan's brother and Carrie is Emma's sister from The Baby Maker. Rafe and Carrie don't believe in "Happily Ever After." They both have their baggages. Carrie is getting over the betrayal of her ex, and Rafe just doesn't believe in anything more than a good time. They know getting involved is a "BAD IDEA", but when have these two ever played it safe. Rafe can't deny that Carrie pulls at his heart strings. He wants to make her feel better, bring a smile to her face. He can do that without getting her in sack, right? Carrie has this crazy attraction to Dylan, and he makes her feel safe even though she doesn't know him long. One night under the tent is all it takes for these two to know that what they have isn't just scratching an itch. What started off as one comforting another, having a good time, turns into a love story like no other.

The Troublemaker is the newest book from the lovely Lili Valente. She sure does know how to write a sinfully sexy bad boy and the woman who can give him a run for his money.
We first meet Rafe and Carrie in The Baby Maker, which if you haven't read you definitely should. From the moment they meet, sparks fly and the sexual tension between them could be cut with a knife. The fact their siblings are married means a relationship is off the table. It would be super awkward if things didn't work out after all. But with a connection like the one they share, it's only a matter of time before they give in.
Every book Lili Valente writes becomes my new favorite and The Troublemaker is no exception. I really enjoyed the sarcastic banter between Rafe and Carrie and I was waiting with anticipation for the moment they would finally give in. Another fantastic read!

Trouble with a capital T! LOVED IT!
Oh man - I so love this series and these Hunter men! I have a feeling I'll love each one more than the last. It's hard to say whose more trouble in this one - Rafe or Carrie.

This is the second book in a series which can be read as a stand alone book and it is just as good as the first one.
We met Carrie (Caroline) in the first book as a supportive sister when Emma needed it. Now it is Carrie's turn in needing help from her sister and those baby making men.
Rafe has been a bit of a womaniser, but with Carrie he sees a strong woman who has been dealt a shitty hand and he finds himself captivated by her and they strike up a friends with benefits situation that their families cannot find out about. However things as always take a turn of events when things get more steamy and they find themselves wanting more than what they started with.
Rafe is a strong man who stands beside Carrie when she needs someone the most and supports her and keeps her strong. Well, along with giving her lots of orgasms that is.
The book is seriously hot, just what we expect from this author, and the chemistry is just off the charts steaming hot and will melt your panties off.
I very much look forward to reading the next book, which we have been introduced too, to see what happens between Tristan and Zoey.

Life is kicking Carrie's butt at the moment and Rafe provides the perfect distraction. What happens when two people who don't do relationships start developing feelings? Read this book and find out! I was really happy with how Rafe and Carrie's story ended. Made my heart happy sigh. I also liked the set up for the next book in the series.

This is a standalone, but in the same world as Magnificent Bastard and another Hunter brother meets his match. This one is Rafe who is the big hot Motor bike riding hottie with a heart of gold.
