Well.. I think this is the first book I read by this author and I enjoyed it.
I’m giving three stars because I like my hero’s with more backbone than this one. It just annoyed me a lot that he was 26 and being told what to do by his father.
I enjoyed the plot, but I didn’t connect with the characters.
Moose was weak and kind of pathetic sometimes.
Georgia was interesting because she followed after what she wanted. She was independent and had her life together.
I don’t know, I just don’t like weak her

When Tripp, her assistant manager, told Georgia about the handsome cowboy waiting to see her, she assumed it was Levi. She had broken up with him 6 years ago now, and he still wasn’t over it. Instead, Moose Garrett walked in and her stomach, which had been lurching in one direction, now ended up reversing in the opposite direction – or it felt that way anyway! She had known Moose since they were babies. He was the one she could never have. He was asking for a donation from the credit union where ...more

Erin Wright does it again with a new book in her Long Valley Series. You don't have to read the previous stories to enjoy this one but it does add to the enjoyment because other characters show up in this book that we have read about in other books.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Ms Wright's Long Valley stories. Her characters are totally relatable and the plots are character driven and fast paced and pull you in from Chapter one and don't let you go until the end.

This story revolves around our hero M

They're not filing taxes in there!

Moose knows that holding Georgia in his arms was the purest, most amazing form of torture but he cannot resist any more but will he ever resist again? She is just so....Georgia, so everything!
Georgia must be crazy not only has she spent YEARS drooling over Moose but now she has put her own life at risk....for a stray dog! Are her and Sparky going to burn to a crisp before she ever gets to even kiss Moose - that would just sum up her life entirely!

I've read all of the Long Valley books by Erin Wright, and enjoyed them all. This one was a struggle for me. The male character Deere a/k/a Moose was spineless boy not a man. I can sort of understand why he was, but I really didn't like him. Now the leading lady Georgia … is strong, capable, self sufficient and a very smart lady. I think she needed a stronger man to complement her, not a man who is weak. I understand that opposites attract, but still can't see these two as a couple.

I volunteered

Inferno of Love is all about life in a small Western town and finding out that love may be closer than you think. When you grow up with people it is sometimes difficult to see them as adults. Moose (named Deere by his John Deere delaler father) has been prepared to marry the daughter of the other rich family in town since he was a child. Obligation and responsibility weigh heavily on him as his pushy family controls his life. His only real fun is belonging to the volunteer fire department, and i ...more

Georgia’s family is a father that is a teacher at the local high school. Her cousin Tennessee’s family has land and loads of money. It has been a given that Tennessee will marry Moose. Moose’s family owns the local John Deere franchise and is best friends with Tennessee’s family. The two fathers declared when they were younger that the two would marry. The two fathers are also horrible fathers who intimidate and control. Georgia has been in love with Moose since she was in high school, but she k ...more

A story of unrequited love and honourable intentions, Inferno of Love is a well written drama set in a small town. Moose and Georgia have been attracted to one another ever since they hit puberty, but were unable to act on it due to the controlling influences of family. In many ways this is a sad book as it brings out the dreadful nature of controlling parents way into adulthood. In fact both Moose and Tennessee have been brainwashed into bowing to family pressure. When circumstances conspire to ...more

My New Favorite Erin Wright Book

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Inferno Of Love by Erin Wright.

Getting a new Erin Wright book is like having Christmas and my birthday together on the same day! And this one is my new all time favorite by her!! It definitely is NOT all sunshine and roses. There are a few things I want to slap someone ( NOT Erin) over but it adds to the enjoyment of the story. Erin’s characters are NOT one dimensional! They come to life on the pages

“Inferno of Love” is the second novel in Erin’s new Firefighters of Long Valley series. It is a wonderful love story that I really enjoyed reading. I have read a number of Erin’s books and I absolutely love her writing. Her storylines are well thought out and her characters Moose (Deere) and Georgia have such great chemistry and are well developed. The story held my interest from the first chapter to the last. How do you deal with the fact that the parents of the two richest families in Sawyer e

The characters, community, actions and reactions...all of these elements are important in either drawing me into a story or make me feel like a silent observer. Erin Wright once again has drawn me in with the Firefighters of Long Valley series!

In Inferno of Love, we watch as Deere “Moose” Garrett’s planned out life takes some twists and turns, and Georgia Rowland, a hard working, determined banking branch manager (who has to deal with older men who feel a woman shouldn’t be a bank 2

This was an ok book. I was just surprised that Moose, a 26 year old man AND Tennessee were going to allow themselves to be manipulated into a marriage. Not to mention having the carrot at the end of the stick dangled in front of you for YEARS, and constantly being moved out of reach. What century is this?

You have a brother that joined the military to get away from your father. You have a sister that is COMPLETELY DISMISSED by your parents, you know it, and do nothing to stand up for her, or even

Hold on tight when love burns through your veins

Wow! I know that this was a work of fiction, but there are probably people out there like Moose and Tennessee's parents, and that is absolutely scary. To be forced into a marriage because their parents think it's a good idea definitely sounds like something from the 15th century. It was a good thing that they were finally able to stand up to the respective parents, and take back their lives. And it was a good thing that Moose finally let Georgia kn

Cute story

Georgia is a spitfire! She knows her mind and her strengths, she works hard (manager of the credit union branch), and she's lived in a small town long enough to not be overly bothered by others' perceptions of her. That's backbone! Moose has a manipulative, verbally abusive father, and Moose has always tried to do what Dad wants. It takes a wildfire for Moose to realize it's time to grow up.

That was my biggest issue with this story. Moose, 26yo, is *finally* standing up to Dad? Never

Another brillant book by Erin. I really enjoyed reading about Moose & Georgia. They are both wonderful characters that will warm your heart. Georgia has loved Moose for as long as she can remember but he is off limits due to the fact that he has been raised knowing that he would marry her cousin Tennessee. Little does Georgia know but Moose is also in love with her. After a wild fire breaks, Moose races to the scene not realising that Georgia is the person trapped on Eagle's Nest. After spending ...more

This is the second book in the Firefighters of Long Valley series by Erin Wright. Set in the small town of Sawyer this book is one you'll want to read. The hero of the story is Deere who got his name because his father owned the local John Deere franchise. His family is the wealthiest in town and for years his family has expected him to marry the daughter of the second wealthiest family in town. His one true love is being a volunteer firefighter and while rescuing a lady in distress he realizes ...more

I received an advanced copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was an awesome book just like all the rest of Erin's books.
Georgia and Moose have been love with each other most of their lives but they are off limits to each other because she is the daughter of a teacher with nothing and Moose is supposed to marry her cousin who is the daughter of one of the richest men on town. When things finally blow between Moose and his father, Moose gives up everything including inheriting the company

How do you deal with a tyrannical father who names you Deere just because he owns the local John Deere Dealership? Especially when he treats you like a hired hand and pays you less than anyone else makes? To top it all off, he has chosen your wife to be without any input from you. Unfortunately, that chosen one is the sister of the one you really want.
How do you deal with the fact that your sister is suppose to marry the man you've loved for years? Especially, when you know she doesn't want to.

Excellent contemporary small town romance. Moose is working fixing engines at his father's dealership but also a volunteer fireman. His father has controlled all aspects of his life including who he'll marry, Tennessee. Moose's father is considered wealthy along with Tennesse's parents. Georgia has always had feelings for Moose but would never hurt her cousin by acting on it. The story has great characters and the author gives us the details of their lives so the reader understands. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I also purchased a copy.

I just love this author and all of her work in the Town of Sawyer!! The characters are just so realistic and lovable. While this book can stand alone, it is great to see prior characters make appearances. I just can't put down a Ms. Wright novel. I would love to move to Sawyer, ID if I could. The plot flows so smoothly that before you know it, it is over. Moose and Georgia are a wonderful couple. After readi

Wright brings the heat with the second in the Firefighters of Long Valley spin off series.

The characters are well written and dynamic with a realistic quality. Set in small town Idaho, the plot is interesting and unexpected. I continue to enjoy this series. The reoccurring characters build a strong series while the individual books can easily be read as standalone novels. Wright continues to develop her talent and each book shows her hard work.

I highly recommend this book to fans of the contemp

Moose had been betrothed to Tennessee almost since birth, despite this being the 21st century. Both knew what was expected of them and did not really fight the situation. But one day Moose rescues Georgia from a wild fire and all his surpressed feelings for her come to the surface. Little by little his rebellion against his domineering father starts.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. An interesting story about another aspect of the little town

Marriages arranged at birth. Men thinking a woman can't run a bank. What century are we living in? Maybe I should ask "Where do you live?". If the answer is Sawyer, Idaho, I would understand. Georgia loves Moose. Moose loves Georgia. Moose is "promised to wed" Tennessee. Levi still loves Georgia. Georgia and Tennessee are cousins. Moose and Levi are best friends. Tennessee has her eyes on Levi's "tush". Throw in a forest fire and an abused dog for a wonderful read. Can't wait for the next trip t ...more

Erin Wright gives the reader a story about thinking love is not possible with the one who holds your heart because of family obligations.
Moose is supposed to marry Tennessee so that the two power families can come together. Georgia is her cousin who has been in love with Moose forever. Levi is Georgia's ex who Tennessee happens to be attracted to.
What happens when the life your family thinks you should have is not the one you want?
Georgia wants Moose but he is off limits. Moose wants Georgia bu

This was my first read by this author and while I enjoyed the read I had a hard time feeling much of anything for the characters because I didn't connect with them. Yes you could tell there was something between them but it felt like half the story was missing then again maybe I should have started with the first book of the series. Regardless the writing is good and it's a clean read which is refreshing. It's a great read which for Deere/Moose is about growing up and taking control of his life ...more

Sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic adventure filled with excitement, danger, passion and family expectations.

Deere Garrett (aka “Moose”) is the small town golden boy with his whole future planed and set for him by his family obligations that include a close to arranged marriage. As usual though life will always through you a curve ball when you think you have it all figured out. What are you waiting for, one click this baby and enjoy the fun and whitey banter it offers.

As always erin wright delivers a lovely story - but while the book is fun, funny and thoroughly enjoyable it is not quite as good as her previous books. the story lacks the depth found in her other books. The heroine is strong and quirky and easy to fall in love with but for me the hero falls a little short - while he seems to be a good man - his character is a little stunted (as he should be) but there was no chance to watch him grow. i wish i had more of their story as to me it is far from ove ...more

Inferno of Love: Loved the hot firemen! A wonderful love story and fantastic characters! I think it's great that Erin Wright chose to have the story start where Moose is supposed to marry Tennessee because that's what the parents want but it's great that the attraction isn't there because it's not what they want in a significant other. I loved the warmest to the story and how it was told! It was very special and I loved it! The dialog was fantastic. I just wanted the story to keep on going it wa ...more
