Terrific addition to the Delta Force Brotherhood series. I love smart women coupled with alpha men. Nantus takes us on another wild ride that definitely satisfies. Well done!
3.5 stars rounded up

I've given this a B- for narration and a C+ for content at AudioGals, which means it's closer to 4 stars than 3, I think.

Hard Pursuit is book three in the Delta Force Brotherhood series of romantic suspense novels by new-to-me author Sheryl Nantus, and although I haven’t read or listened to the other books, I was perfectly able to follow the story here, so it worked fine as a standalone. However, the series title, the cover, the book blurb, the ex-special forces hero – all of

Ally Sheldon's parents were killed in a car crash when she was very young. Her aunt and uncle took her in and raised her as their own along with their son. Vincent and Ally now run the construction company started by her father and uncle. Vincent is the face of the company and Ally runs everything behind the scenes. She has spent way too many years, and too much time, energy and money, covering for him, always making excuses for him because he was there for her when her parents passed and she fe ...more

Another bell ringer from Sheryl and the Delta Force Brotherhood Series. Damn this was a good book.
We start with Jessie meeting Ally at the club, Ally's brother has gone missing. Not unusual for this drunken, over indulged, sob who requires a handler to keep him in check. Being in Las Vegas on business is like giving Vincent the keys to the kingdom, he's got all the booze he can drink and gamble. When he goes off grid, ditching his handler Ally hires Jessie, who calls in Dylan and Trey.

Received an ARC at no cost to author. This is the third book in this series about the Brotherhood or Delta Force either works. This is Trey's story the computer genius, the soft walking hottie and his new love interest Ally. I got to tell you folks that I wasn't crazy about Ally, she annoyed me in multiple aspects. First, I understood that she wanted to keep things under wraps, I got that, but I wasn't appreciative of her threatening them with a lawsuit, she needed them and yet she is demanding, ...more

Content warning: (view spoiler)

While this is the third in the Delta Force Brotherhood series, each book is a stand-alone, and I had no problems jumping in. The Brotherhood is an organization of ex-military vets who help those who can’t find help anywhere else. Ally gets involved with them when Jessie, the girlfriend of the head of the Brotherhood, agrees to investigate the disappearance of Ally’s adopted brother, Vincen

Combining mystery, action, and will-they-or-won't-they romance, Hard Pursuit is one wild ride!

Ally and Trey were likable characters. Ally amazed me with her poise and strength. She was the ultimate fixer for her family's company, never failing to make things look picture perfect when behind closed doors it was the exact opposite. In Hard Pursuit, Ally is torn between two choices: staying with her chaotic, dysfunctional family or striking out on her own. From the start, I hoped she would go with

Hard Pursuit by Sheryl Nantus is the third book in the Delta Force Brotherhood series and I have to say that I missed the action that the previous two books had but this addition with Trey and Ally was pretty good. Even though I wanted to smack Vincent upside the head and tell him to grow up more than once. I do agree with the other reviews than Ally and her family let Vin

This was my first read from Sheryl Nantus. I was a little hesitant because I generally do not like jumping into the middle of series on the off chance that you miss some of the backstory. That ended up not being an issue and the story can be read as a stand-alone.

This is definitely a romance novel. The military and bodyguard aspects take a back seat. There was not real mys

This was the first book I've read by Sheryl Nantus and what a start! Fabulous story with characters who will break your heart and restore your faith in humanity and love.

With a strong, smart woman and a super-alpha, Hard Pursuit is a winner from the first page to the last. The complex plotline never gets out of hand and I couldn't put this book down. Both main characters have agendas and the book keeps you wondering how they will work it out.

This is a pretty good series to get into if you like them like these. Read the first one but missed the second one so into this I went. When there are cases and mysteries I am on it like yesterday. This one centers around Trey and Ally. Secrets and mysteries galore in this one with one by one coming to light. Those with the skills are the ones you need to watch lol. He goes to help her and the chemistry will begin to boil. What they got to do keeps you plastered to the story having to have the a ...more

I'm so glad I stumbled upon a new to me author when she put out book #1 of this series. I love this series and this author now has a fan for life. I 1-click her titles as soon as I see a new one available She has never let me down yet. Her books are always fun and fast paced. Check them out!!

The Brotherhood is like the A-Team on steroids. They are out to help the little guy or those with no other place to go.

Trey may be ex-Delta Force but he completely owns cyberspace! He can hack just about anything but he does have other talents. When Dylan asks him to help out with a new case, he is drawn to Ally right away. But as her story unfolds he realises that her brother may just be the man he is looking for, the man who killed his friend 5 years ago.

I thought there was gonna be more shooting and fighting. But it was a good book. I wanted to scream when ally was alway defending her adopted brother. Once and always an addict. Trey is looking for justice for the hit and run of his best friend and himself. The killer left them lying on the sidewalk.

However, with every case he helps solve, he can't help but wish he could do the same with the one closest to his heart...that of who murdered his best friend. But now he has a new lead and is determined to find out the truth once and for all.

Received in exchange for a honest review.

You feel for Trey from the beginning. He is a good caring guy who lost his best friend and was trying to find him justice. Only he lost his way to what was important and that is friendship, love and forgiveness. He didn’t forgive himself for not being able to help his friend, he couldn’t let many in because he was afraid and he was frustrated because he never found the person who took away his friend.

While I have not read the previous books in the series, it is not necessary to understand the plot or characters. This book can be read as a stand alone but I know from previous experience, it is fun to read about previous characters.

Hard Pursuit by Sheryl Nantus is the third book in the series of the Delta Force Brotherhood. Like the first two in the series, it is a suspenseful, romantic, attention keeping read. Not quite as much of an action-packed story as the other two. I was not a bit surprised by the action since Trey is mainly the computer guy for the group.

The two lead characters are good together but there are secrets that work their way between them. Still the suspense, secrets and cover-up really worked in this st

Excellent book! It's full of mystery, suspense, passion, and romance. Very well written with some characters you will love (Trey) and others you will hate (Nick). The story has lots of little twists and is very enjoyable.

Trey Pierce has put everything into tracking down his best friends murderer. When a new lead come walking right through the front door, it seems too good to be true just like the woman herself. Ally Sheldon peaks Trey's interest like no other woman ever has. He knows deep in his

This is my first book by Sheryl Nantus. I was surprised how well developed the characters were and how the story pulls the reader in right away with a story of a wayward brother and a revenge.

Trey and Ally were well developed and everything they did felt real and flowed though out the story. The reactions and actions of the different characters made since as the story moved closer and closer to the concussion. Their is romance and sex in the story but flows well this the story.

Loved this book! Troy is a computer expert and part of the Brotherhood, when he meets Ally, a construction company executive that is dealing with her cousin's alcoholism and shenanigans when he (the cousin) goes missing. Troy is called in to try to help find him, but finds something more than the cousin. In addition to finding the answer to a problem that's haunted him for five years, he also found Ally, a woman who, if not for her cousin, he could love.

Trey is the computer genius for the Delta Brotherhood, a die-hard group of ex-military men who fight for justice. Ally is dedicated to her brother Vincent and the family company. When Vincent goes missing before a big deal, the Brotherhood gets involved. Trey has an old score to settle and Ally is dealing with her own demons. As with the other two books in the series, the chemistry between the hero and heroine is explosive and romantic. Hard Pursuit is an exciting page-turner that you will love ...more

The only negative which really isn't a negative just a want for me is, I wish there had been more between Trey and Ally relationship wise. The book focuses on finding her "brother" and the mess he creates for her family and family business. In that regards, the book was great. In the beginning I actually wanted to give her "brother" the benefit of the doubt. That's how much trust Ally has in her family. She makes everyone else believe that it's all innocent too.

I absolutely love this series and Trey's story made my heard sing. He has been searching years and years for someone that hurt him in the past. When he finds him he has a choice to make, a hard choice that could hurt the person he loves. This is a fast paced story that I could not put down! Love wins of course, though it does take a little bit of patience to get there. Another must read from Ms. Nantus!

Hard Pursuit is the third book in the Delta Force Brotherhood. I enjoyed Trey the computer expert and Ally’s story, we may have less action than in the previous books but I think that only adds to Trey’s dynamic in the team and the interaction between him Ally and the other characters. I look forward to reading many more books by this author
