I like that it builds the chapters based on the idea of explaining the reasoning behind the concepts and why they appeared. Most of the textbooks I'd read give you the definitions, but they don't tell the backstories and sometimes it might feel that they came from nowhere and your only job is to memorize as much names as you can.
